Hey guys
I have a Galaxy S2 HD LTE LG U+ that I bought from South Korea, I noticed LG U+ uses CDMA and the same LTE bands as Sprint.
Sprint uses CDMA 800/1900(I believe) and 800/850 Mhz LTE just like LG U+ so is there any reason why it wouldn't work on Sprint?
Thanks

Hi guys.
Anyone try to use Verizon LG G2 on T-Mobile network?
What is working? What is not working?
Thanks everyone.
I would assume no LTE connectivity. Diff. Bands. I've connected Verizon phones on T-Mobile before and they never get LTE. They say H+ or 4G
TapaTalked From My G2
It look like beside LTE it has no UMTS band 4.
Hello guys, I am using LG G2 VS980 on AT&T network. With this device, I am able to WCDMA network but LTE band offered in my city by AT&T is not active/available on Verizon LG G2 VS980. Hence I cannot use LTE!
Should I travel to say, Chicago..I can use LTE because in Chicago GSM LTE band used by AT&T is same as what's active on Verizon branded VS980.
I came across following thread on Samsung Galaxy G5 where people have successfully changed their bands to have device work on multiple different WCDMA or LTE frequencies.
Do we have something similar for LG G2? Has anybody tried it?

Verizon uses 700 and 1700. I doubt that 2600 would be enabled. The CDMA version of the phone has select LTE bands depending on carrier.
The GSM version (T-Mobile) probably has 2600 like most GSM LG G3.
You probably bought the wrong phone for LTE in your area.
Dear, buddy:
Could I know if Verizon currently had deployed band 4 LTE already?
I am interested on the Japan version of LG G3 and it does not support BAND 13!

Well, Verizon started deploying their XLTE which uses the AWS spectrum since last year. Their latest article in September states they are in over 400 markets already. http://www.verizonwireless.com/news...ing-exalted-the-verizon-wireless-network.html. So it is pretty safe to say if you are in a big city, it is already deployed.
Thanks so much, but I am going to buy this phone, how we can confirm this?
As far as I know T-mobile also support band4 LTE, how did Verizon and T-mobile handle this?

My Verizon LG G3 gets LTE on band 4 from both Verizon and T-Mobile , depending on which sim is in. It also gets band 13 LTE when the Verizon sim is in.

Thanks, buddy, is that saying if I am using Verizon SIM card
I can use Band 4 LTE service at all states?
BTW, I am in NJ right now.
The Verizon sim means the Verizon G3 can access any available Verizon data connection anywhere. That G3 though does not support all the T-Mobile and ATT LTE bands, just some.
Hi All,
I am using korean lg g3 ls990 sprint model mobile.
I purchased it from ebay website and it is based on sprint network.
It's base OS was kitkat 4.4.2 ZV4 and I flashed it with Cynagonemod 13 OS.
I am able to see LTE in my "preferred network type" but I never get the 4G network, it is working for 3g only.
I am thinking that Mobile's LTE Band level is not supported for India's Network.
Basically LG G3 Sprint Supports: GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, UMTS 850/1900/2100, LTE Bands 25/26/41*
But in India we need 2300Mhz band 40. So how to enable Band 40 / LTE 4G.
Please help me.
Many Thanks.
