Hello guys,
I have a Nexus 4 and recently installed Ubuntu Touch via the official dual boot tutorial. By mistake, I rewrote the recovery partition with TWRP forgetting that it was used by Ubuntu Touch.
My question is: how can I definitely uninstall Ubuntu Touch partition on my phone now, since the mistake I made?
PS: ubuntu dual boot icon disappeared!
Try reinstalling Dual Boot and then follow the Wiki for correct removal.

Earlier today i flashed Ubuntu Touch onto my tab.
I followed the instructions from the Ubuntu wiki on how to do it, but it won't boot into Ubuntu, just into android (cyanogen). :\
Does anyone know how to fix this?
(Sorry if this has already been asked, but I couldn't find it)
The instructions are all good, except in one step:
don't flash the screen resolution fix or a file named afterflash.zip ...
first, boot Ubuntu, and then shut it down, go to recovery and flash the zip
for me: I flashed the cm10.1 image, the the quantal build ( for that time ), booted up and then got to recovery and flashed the resolution fix zip...
and another thing: don't get p4wifi.conf ... flash this file instead:
afterflash-p4.zip
Thanks for the reply, I followed all of these instructions, yet the tablet insists on booting into CM10.1, no signs of ubuntu other than its filesystem
I'll download the new filesystem and inform you whether it worked...
Help - I have an A1CS Fusion 5 tablet which I've managed to install CWM v6.0.3.1 but in the process of trying to install CM 10 or 9 I cannot get the tablet to boot into android, it always boots straight into the CWM recovery. This is common tablet which is identical to the Protab 2xxl which I've found a single rom image file but I'm unsure how to flash. I don't have access to a windows box to use livesuit as I hope there are equivalent Linux tools, but as a last resort I can borrow a win pc.
Within CWM I've tried to flash the CM 9 or 10 .ZIP which it claims to do successfully but it still boots into recovery. I've wiped all the data/cache/system/dalvik partitions many times before each install.
Through much fiddling I've found that I can gain adb access to the tablet whilst it is in CWM recovery mode, but I'm unsure what to do next? I've also found I can put the tablet into bootloader mode (black screen) and I'm able to read / write raw mem using rkflashtool, but I don't know how to split the single .img file or CM ROM .ZIP file into separate sections to flash each partition?
Although I'm fairly technical on Windows & Linux, I'm a newbie with Android so any help would be very welcome to avoid it becoming an expensive paper weight.
Thanks in advance
Andrew
Hi,
I own a Huawei G535-L11 with unlocked bootloader and no system installed (the entire system partition was wiped during a faulty update).
I'm trying to compile a ClockworkMod Recovery for this device but every image I compile boots into a black screen.
The device mounts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 with an Adreno 305 GPU.
The kernel is available for download here. And here is a repository with the changes I made so far.
I would greatly appreciate any help to compile a working CWM.
Thanks.
Hi guys,
First up here are the details of the phone that I am currently using:
Zeaplus M7
MediaTek MT6752
Android 5.0
Root = YES
Unlocked = YES
Secure = NO
The Problem
I have compiled CWM using the CM-11.0 branch, and TWRP using the OmniRom and TWRP Minimal sources, but I always end up with the same problem, regardless of whether I flash CWM or TWRP.
After flashing either of the recovery.img files to the phone, I can attempt to boot into recovery and what happens is the phone restarts, sits at the splash logo (boot screen) and sits there for around 15-30seconds (using the stock recovery, it will already have booted by this point), and then it will just restart the phone and it will continue to boot to the system as normal.
This happens on both CWM and TWRP. What is causing both the recoveries to hang at the boot screen without actually entering the recovery? Is there a way I can get a logcat or log of what is happening during the recovery bootup so I can check if there are any error messages going on behind the scenes that I am missing out on?
If you need anymore information please let me know!
Thanks
Just committed the most recent files for a CWM (11.0) build. (Also contains some older files used for the TWRP build)

Hopefully that may help out a little bit more. Not 100% sure what could be causing the issue as the P6000 has a working TWRP, and I have based this device tree around the P6000 device tree (with specific changes made to suit the M7).
Not sure if this will help, I also have the z+m7 , have tried the ele p 7000 Rom on it and it works fine, twrp installs fine, but will not download from playstore , both are from needrom made by s7yler, when I go back to m7 Rom with the p7000 twrp package exactly the same happens as happens to your phone, have noticed in m7 Rom and Mijue t500 Rom which are the same, there is a file called Encrypt, which I have never seen in other roms.could this be a problem
There is now a twrp for the zeaplus m7 on the zeaplus forum
Hi all,
I have Sero 8 Pro tablet with serial F5281AEGKFF150135 from TWRP backup..
1. The issue is its stuck at ""hisense powered by android" (kernel) screen after the owner deleted build.prop and later on flashed OMA's sero8pro rom. Before flashing a custom rom it used to be stuck at Boot animation (hi smart) screen
2. I need a TWRP backup of same or similar model. img firmware dump or separate partitions (img) is also accepted.I will flash those using the loader interface in AndroidTool or Batchtool of Rockchip. The device can start in loader and TWRP (recovery) is working fine....
3. I can go into recovery mode (TWRP installed) so flashable zips are also welcome.
Urgent reply is keenly requested. Thanks XDA members.
Did you got the solution? Please share
hi, you have the loader and twrp ? can share with me? oma's link is dead.
