3.7V 3500mAh Battery - Galaxy Note 3 Accessories

I want to buy some extra batteries and i found these
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3X-3500mAh-...bilePhoneAccessories&var=&hash=item485e9f2a35
I noticed the Voltage is 3.7V and the original are 3.8V. since i don't understand im asking
Will it affect something?
Will they have the same duration time as the 3200mah original ones?
are they cheaper cause they don't last as long?
or is it only the brand not being samsung?
Thank you.
i don't know if i had to put this post in Q & A or Accessories but here goes.

Most of the time they dont last as long as the original. You're better of buying the Samsung battery.

Should i get the 2000mah battery?

Does the official 2000 mah battery Increase the battery life in any way?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
It depends.
I bought an Anker 1900mah battery (which is roughly around the same as the original 1650mah *personal experience*) and having the 2 batteries that can last me ~14 hours each, I've justified that buying a 2000mah isn't worth it for the price.
If you have the money for it, sure go for it, but if you're kinda chintz like me, go for a cheaper solution.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Of course it does. It has 17.5% more capacity, so you should expect 17.5% longer battery life.
Before you make your decision, I think you should consider buying another spare 1650mah battery instead. It doesn't require a different back battery cover, so you can just carry the battery around and swap it out when required. It'll cost less and you'll essentially be with 3300mah of juice.
But of course, that's if you don't mind the act of swapping the battery mid-day.
Oops, when I said "It depends" I was replying to the thread title. Ahah.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Um, yeah 350/1650 = 21 & a bit % higher capacity. I've had one of these for a couple of months and I get around the 20% more zzzzs, etc, etc.
I tried a non Samsung 3500mAh battery which ended up being around 1900mAh based on two weeks worth of testing (not scientific I know, I don't have the equipment to test actual capacity) and more than a few charge/discharge cycles, it used to get hot (~45°C) when charging so I returned it to the place I bought it from.
For the same price as this battery I bought the original Samsung 2000mAh battery. If you can afford it, definitely get one of these. Despite other peoples positive experiences on here with non-Samsung batteries (and I've also seen just as many people who have had similar negative experiences like mine), I'll never buy a non-original battery again.

Manufacturer batteries are guaranteed to do what you pay for, the other ones can vary enormously.
For example 99% of non Sony batteries for the PSP were utter trash, but I did find one company that specialized in replacements and those were about 95% of the Sony originals. But since most non manufacture batteries are sold to numpties who do no research generally it's more profitable to sell rubbish.
Yep agree with you 100% there That's been my experience as well.

If you want the most out off your battery, try under volting your cpu using tegrak overclocking app. This way your bound to last every day with battery to spare even while watching 3 hours off video.

Is This Cheap Battery Any Good?

Hey,
I was trawling the internet for some cheap extended batteries. (my only other experience with them was the official HTC one for the HD2).
I heard someone saying that there is a good 3500mah one going on Amazon for £11. I'm presuming he meant this as it is the first result: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ecell-3500M...A9ZW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1333452409&sr=8-1
After a quick search on ebay I found the same battery for £5.99! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3500mah-H...ltDomain_3&hash=item256aa12a8e#ht_2235wt_1024
But is it any good? Has anyone had any prior experience with unbranded batteries?
Thanks,
Louis
never go for it, no use, this are fake chinese battery, i got one for evo 4g. it was told to be 3500 but it was not even 1000 mah.

That is usually true for the batteries that sit inside the original casing, but not the extended ones?
I am saying abt extended one, same battery which you are asking for.

I got this on amazon and has been doing calibration with the battery monitor widget and its calibrating out to at least 2500mah. One peculiar thing is the first 40% or so drop by very fast, but then from 50-30 percent it last a lot longer, this has been notice by another poster also. the battery door is also decent, first generation soft touch rubber coating type material and not as ugly as the Seidio door

So can you please give me a rough estimate on how much longer this battery lasts? And would you recommend it over the stock battery?

You buy many spare batteries for the amount an original battery costs. One spare battery made in China is about € 2,50.
What the real capacity is doesn't matter, as long it does it job as spare battery, you can always order a second one.
Also would it be better to buy the 3500mah and use that as primary. or buy something like this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/High-Qual...ultDomain_3&hash=item43ab4ef97d#ht_2079wt_805
And use it as a secondary battery? Which would provide the best overall battery life?
Thanks,
Louis

that is hard to say, because everybody usage pattern is different, but even if its only 2500mah it still comes to 50% more capacity then the stock 1700mah.
Last night charge cycle adjust it to about 2700 mah, I don't think its settle down yet, seem the more charge history the widget collect the more accurate the calibration should be.

Thats true. But, seriously i was not happy with the backup it provides. It was 50% of the oem.
as in for spare this is great. you can also try anker one, its great and cheap.
btw, it was about extended.

I can get 4 of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/High-Qual...ultDomain_3&hash=item43ab4ef97d#ht_2079wt_805 for the same price as the Anker?
Guys dont trust some of these batteries. I bought a few of these similar type batteries cause they were really cheap 2 for $9.99 with charger. This has been discussed to death already. I bought another set of 3x + 1 charger. They didnt last long at all. I peeled the stickers on all of them at they were all had 1000mah stamped on it but the sticker says 1800mah. This has been pointed out here before too. It was a complete waste of time and a hassle trying to get my $ back. Seller didnt bother taking the batteries back. For the total of $20 I spent and headache I couldve just bought and anker or chichitec. Which I did. I bought 2x 1900mah anker + charger for 24.99 a while back and they have been great. Been using them for 10 months now and last slightly longer than stock. I will look for the thread so you guys can do some reading but it did get pretty lengthy. Spend the extra $5 or even $10 and dont go for these cheap batteries.
Here's the thread. Take time to read it and it may be worth your trouble later down the road.

the HTC one is bigger and has more mAH so last longer... but you will need a different battery door... the other one i think fits in the stock battery door but only last longer for a couple of months
Ebay ad says: *Extended battery door is needed, which we do not currently carry*
Don't forget that the Rezound antenna it is located on the back cover so if you get an extend battery it should come with a new cover and antenna as well.
The HTC one does.

Besides what the others have posted, I've found Mugen batteries to be overrated in regards to MAH rating. Ive only had two Mugen batteries on other phones, but received nearly identical battery use in comparison to my lesser mah stock batteries.
Just my opinion, but grab the HTC extended battery, but don't forget about the door. I have 3 extended battery doors if you need one.

AT&T Spare Battery Charging System

I have a friend that works at AT&T and he just sent me a pic of this product they just got in. It is a spare battery charging system with the spare battery included and it is listed at $49. It is on the AT&T website just Google "spare battery charging system galaxy note at&t" and it is about the 6th one down.
(Sorry I'm a noob and can't post links.)
Does anyone have this? Is it worth the buy?
Here's the link for the assist....

personally I'd buy something similar from amazon or ebay before I blow $50 on a charging solution...
OEM original is a huge ripoff!
I bought this, 2 battery with battery charger for only 14.99$ !
I used this battery for 3 days now (I charge it nightly when I go sleep),
and I can't tell the different between this cheap battery and OEM original!
this cheap battery lasts just as long as original OEM!
the battery also weight the same as original, it's possible the battery made by the same company, just a different label.
battery charger works on AC and on car with microusb charging!
I highly recommend it!

The product has been in stores at launch date of the g-note, don't know why your friend's store just now receiving it. As for the item, it does what its design to do. Just make sure to connect it to a charger with more than 500mA or else it will be an all day process. I wouldn't and didn't pay $50 for this product.

If you want the OEM one order it from amazon instead. I bought mine for $30. Better off saving the $20 + tax vs buying it in store, you can pretty much buy 2 for the price of one.

Update us later to see how the batteries hold a charge after some use. Seems like a really good deal
Not that I'm questioning u and ur after market battery, just heard a lot of bad things about non OEM batteries. They may be cheaper but they don't last as long as the OEM ones even if they are larger mah batteries
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using XDA
not all non-aftermarket are junk.
I used to have aftermarket battery for Sony x1,
that battery rated the same mAh as OEM
but battery is much lighter and doesn't hold that much charge.
this aftermarket battery for note is heavy, weights the same as OEM.
I have been using this aftermarket battery for 4 days now, it lasts the whole day
I have no need to swap to the other battery. (I charge phone nightly when I go sleep)
I wish someone would make a charging solution that would work with most cases...

[Q] [Q Newby] 1650mAh vs 1800mAh etc batteries

Hey there.
I bought my phone and it came with 1650mAh battery.
I was wondering what happesn if I replace it with a 1800mAh battery (or any other suggestions)
Will it extend alive time?
Does it have any disadvantages?
What battery specifications should I check up before purchasing and inserting the battery?
Am I not talking sense?
Thanks!
Its battery, buy it and put it in...it doesn't matter how big capacitied is ur battery, u'll always feel the backup is low...
So my opinion is to live with the 1650mAh one and recharge it twice...
The bigger capacitied batteries get de-capacitized with use...
Like the 1800 will become 1500 something in 6-7 months...
Buy samsung official 2000 mAh battery or stay with 1650mAh one
Hope i wasn't offensive at all and really srry formy dirty english
