I've had my tab z for some time now and I've been happy with stock but was thinking of trying a new rom I use bluetooth keyboard mouse and run xbmc what rom would be a good fit?

I am running CM11 using bluethooth Keyboard and XBMC.
And if you life in a geek free households (Tablets/Person <= 1), multiuser works, too. (With BT)

If you select multiple input languages (I have Dutch and English) it just becomes a language switch and much less annoying. But the keyboard isn't the best, I preferred the old 2011 version (the one on the Arc, Neo, ...)

Thumb keyboard. To me it's the best. I prefer it over swiftkey. Swype is also a good alternative.

I use the stock still, but have you tried SlideIT? I used it on my X10 and found it pretty decent. It kinda works like the stock, but without the settings key
I don't find the settings button a problem because I switch between English and Dutch a lot, so it's not there.

If you sign up to the SwiftKey Website you can get the SwiftKey 3 Beta, it's only time limited until the actual relase, but it's got some nice new features

Well,I've moved to 2012 Xperia line,and I still keep my old but legend Xperia mini pro so...what should I do with my XMP?Since my sim got cut to fit with smaller sim card holder in Xperia ion (lol),I can't use my old phone anymore...

I've been thinking of using it for testing custom rom since its bootloader already unlocked and using custom rom now and I don't quite get with your 'run it as a server' word :3

As far as I know, you can use it as a server, to push data on it or to run a website on it, but not sure if that was only an idea or if you can do it right now

Hi,im using XP and till i update jb my hdmi isnt work.its connect and disconect again and again.im used jb stock 6.2.A.1.100, rom moonbreaker jb kernel and now rom enigma v5 nemesis kernel v5.2.its have same hdmi problem.anyone had fix this ? I searched alot but dont have solution.thanks sr for my bad english

I plug hdmi cable to my XP .in the status bar it appear HDMI connected,tv launcher started then disappear.then it appear then disappear..and i think it never stop that

Custom ROMs can cause some issues. Please make a reply to that custom ROM you're using

I also have this problem....
Hey I also have the same problem...automatic connecting and disconnection loop....tried JB,ICS but no use....Its not of the cable...the same cable worked fine on a Acro S...Tried on 3 xpeia p handsets...all have same problem.
Could you find any solution?...share it with me also...

All rom base on jb 6.2.a.1.100 have this problem.it may work if some one give me another hdmi version

+1. We have all the goodies of Note 3 except the camera!!!:crying:
The camera needs special hardware which note 2 doesn't have. So to have just different interface is not a deal in my opinion.

I think there are some devs working on the camera. ..but it will still have a considerable amount of things missing...since the hardware is different. ...anyway....even if it doesn't come...don't be bummed about it...The devs have provided us with so many Note 3 features.....so hats off to them and their hard working teams.....let's hope for the best

I can't decide, lol. Normally I go with swift key or Google keyboard , but I've been playing around with others .. like touchpal, but I feel the Samsung stock keyboard is the best. I love the one handed mode. If I liked to swipe I would go with touch pal, but since I find myself never really using the swipe feature the keyboard isn't that good. What about you all ?? Is there any way to theme the stock keyboard ??

I usually use swiftkey, but I do like the Samsung stock with the numbers on the top. Plus at first I never realized that in settings you can enable the swipe action like in swiftkey or Google keyboard. Seems on some of the ROMs it isn't enabled by default

For me, swype drains battery!
Personally I don't trust any third-party keyboards with everything I type (passwords etc). Especially after they incorporated cloud dictionary storage (Swiftkey, beware).

On my previous phone, I really got the hang of the Google Keyboard. I like the Samsung stock keyboard for the row of numbers, but a few things big me about it, so I'm back with Google.
Tried a lot of keyboards. Touchpal X is by far and away the best.

AI is fantastic but not as accurate and intelligent as Touchpal X and SwiftKey. I prefer Touchpal or Swype.
