i know you guys may think it looks like MIUI , but i assure you it's totally different ROM nor MIUI-based modification , and if you have time , please read first pages of all these kind people's reports and feelings about this ROM.
what i think is , every and any ROM is like child to all of us in Android community , and please don't think it is bad or ugly or whatever negative expression you can think of , because nothing is perfect , as MIUI , it is now 71 weeks old , and this one is only 3 weeks old, and for now , MIUI 4.0 does have problems and bugs as well as this one, it has some problems or bugs, but that's how all ROM start, right ?
we are just like bunch of daddies (mommies) here , to help developer to raise (improve) thier child (ROM) , they need you help and report!

1. solved the problem of folders can not be renamed
2. fix the bug in some certain situation, calls dial-in but can not unlock screen.

[HOWTO]: flash stock 2.3, and then flash stock 4.0 , and then flash DX 4.0
1. flash stock 2.3 via Odin.
2. click "reset" after you flashed stock 2.3
3. flash stock 4.0 via Odin.
4. click "reset" after you flashed stock 4.0
5. flash CWM recovery via Odin
6. flash DX ROM via recovery (remember full wipe)

okay ... this is second week for i9100 ROM (first week was close-alpha test)
so ... think it somehow is understandable has some bugs

Installation was relatively quick... so that is a +1
The keyboard only allows US English and Chinese, so that needs to be amended for other languages.
Also if the ROM can be updated to ICS 4.03/4.04 for the Galaxy S2 that too would be a plus, as its only using 2.3.7
Not a bad ROM but needs some work before I will use it further. I will roll back in the meantime.

as this is based-on CM9 , so it's depending on when will CM9's ICS ROM be released.

getting boot loop
please help did a full wipe installed rom still gett9ng boot loop and cant even entr recovery mode even after trying to take out the battery n enter recovery mode ...
please help what to do ..

I thought CM9 type rooms were already available, given some of the other flavours we see here on the forum. I know or should I say I think MIUI are releasing those kinds of roms in beta form are they not?
Don't get me wrong, I like the ROM but it's needs a bit of work in it before I can say, yeah I want this!!

Try this...
Take out battery and SD CARD. Copy the ROM on there and reinsert along with battery, and cover. Hold down Volume up, middle button and then press power button. Should bring up recovery mode. In there wipe cache, system, data, and dalvik cache. Then install from zip file point to internal SD, and see if that works for you.

Known Bugs for VZW Safestrap Version:
Signal Bars won't Show. Still get 4g but wont show Strength. Theres apps available if you must know in the the Playstore.
In Aroma Installer Avoid the Material Design Theme Choice or the Alternate Dialer Theme choice and the System Note 4 Upgrade choice in the options menu - might work but usually these choices result in a stalled boot
If ROM doesn't boot within 8 Minutes (yes it takes a long time inital boot up!) then try reinstalling with less options!

Donate to us by using links a little ways up the page while you install the ROM in Safestrap 3.75+ over a freshly created ROM Slot!
Flash your System Modules in Safestrap (NC2 Modules should be baked into the ROM so Reset once Aroma is done is fine!)
Then Reset Phone and wait initial bootup is slow
If you have errors or issues with data or wifi and your using NC2, NC5 or NG6 Firmware please flash one of the "WiFi Fixes" I offer before commenting on or giving up on the ROM. The all in one fixes I offer are easily found by searching my AndroidFileHost website!

Phoenix 7.3 for Safestrap / Multi Carrier Friendly / Any TWRP Capable Recovery Compatible! ML1/MK2/MKF based| Fast | Stable | Clean | De/Odexed | Note 3 Features! / Simple install / Themed / TW4.3
- SAFESTRAP (Install to any slot and restore to Stock slot too! Compatible with VZW - AT&T - TMO and can be installed on MDK/MDL and should be any phone with TWRP recovery.
If you dont know about Phoenix get familiar (read the thread.). This version features a cool Floyd theme. Restore it to your stock slot in Safestrap or to any slot you like or restore it with TWRP/Philz any recovery that is TWRP compatible should work. AT&T and other carriers may need to flash your MK2 modules or add in TMO APN / AT&T APN settings to get this beast working 100%. If that didn't fix your problem then you need to install the GSM / LTE carrier modem (just guessing that your GSM if you can't get this going as thats been only complaint of lost data and he was able to fix it with proper carrier modem).
Known issues/Not Working (only for select users):
No issues exist if phone is setup properly. however...
If it doesnt work for you I'm sorry your best bet if your on VZW is SS with something else installed stock slot would be mk2/mj7 stock odin, reroot, ss,(I go to MK2 as I have best speeds and benchmarks with it) n I know it will work flawlessly if rooted and setup as described cause I've used this ROM package on 7 phones for clients (1 AT&T, 2 TMOs one with mdl bootloader and one with locked and 4 VZWs).... enjoy took me some time to put together so if it works thank me or better yet donate so you can see updates and more roms!
Due to packaging restraints and installation issues a familiar format like .zip is not available yet but will be soon. Until then please use the TWRP/SS restore option as its a more viable install and can be restored onto any slot including Stock through Safestrap. If someone wants to help the cause please install this through philztouch then create a zip from the rom do not flash anything else over the rom and upload the zip and PM me the link it'd help me out a lot!
Lil about me: I'm a now broke, technically I'm disabled (w/ 4 crushed discs in spine the gov says I'm too young to get disability and shouldn't admit that MMJ medicine works for me they=heartless pricks)I'm a full time single parent of a 1 yr old so I don't get a lot of time for my passions anymore. ex award winning programmer (lost the love for it, be sure to copyright anything you intellectually own especially when it comes to working with G or MS. they'll steal your everything claim you signed it over and hang you out to dry) now i'm just a fellow android lover with a knack for making things work when they normally won't, experimenting, coding,scripting, anything I feel like doing so if this or any of my other creations or additions to your phone helped you in any way help keep my kid in fresh diapers or put a beer in my hand please. Install:
Unzip into your new SS backup dir into your backup Safestrap folder in a folder like gogolies-phoenix73-v5 make sure all files are simply in 1 folder and that folder is in your backup directory and restore to a ***blank/newly created or STOCK*** rom slot. I went super small as small as SS would allow for slot creation. If your getting an error on restoring be sure to try deleting the slot and re-adding it then restoring the system files. If your WiFi doesn't work try flashing MJ7 or MK2 SS modules but only flash modules after 1st booting up rom and knowing wifi isnt working. 1st boot takes time plz allow a minute after loading up 1st time.

should be loki safe. just flash loki'd kernel and matching modem for best results. screens / videos available on original thread figured why add more?!!? more work can be done else where f a screen if ya cant click a link u lazy all my ports are exactly the same appearance wise as their counterparts usually or i do include snaps... u can install on your device and post if you like feel free for any of my roms without screens thx
Downloaded 4 times and tried to unzip with winzip, androzip and root explorer. All failed.
After multiple downloads and multiple failures to unzip with multiple apps I wonder if the file is corrupted. Never had this much problem with other SS/TWRP restore files you have posted. Thanks for your work.

hey man try searching thru this dir i just upped like every single kernel i had on my pc pik one out id try the new bioshock first then KT then so on if that doesnt fix it... unless everyone is having same error i dont know yet. flies for me

Nem 1.5 isn't working at all, not understanding how it works for you. Right when it boots up everything crashes, something is obviously very wrong with it. It's not one or two things FC it's multiple. Any ideas?

After I was finished doing what I felt should be done (my aim was the most rounded in terms of battery consumption, speed and stability). But I came out with the fastest ROM available for the Verizon S4 with better battery life than any other ROM I've seen. OH and that is with a fully themed beautiful Dark AOSP feeling ROM from head to toe. My favorite dialer / ROM now period. Every App that comes standard has been done over and visually improved. TRY IT EVEN IF YOU NORMALLY DON'T LIKE THEMES OR THEMED ROMS IT GROWS ON YOU VERY QUICKLY. I was never a fan of the "3d icons" but this made me believe that somethings are just meant to be. The icons just need to visually flow with the backgrounds matching apparently. Has every customization available or compatible for TW4.3 Roms and will beat any ROM you throw at it in any benchmarking test or battery life comparison test.
This has been pretty heavily tested and no bugs reported from testers. (besides if your using the original or full version you'll need to change or download the english language pack for the samsung keyboard in the Settings-Device Input- department. if that counts as a bug lol...)

Installation:
1. Download your choice of ROM
2. Make Nandroid Backup of current system in Online Nandroid or Safestrap!
3. Install via TWRP or Safestrap any recovery should work. Just make sure that if theres an option like "enable old script" be sure and enable it.
4. If your on SafeStrap flash your modules (MK2 preferable) if on a different carrier flash a MARC pack and if your on an unsupported carrier or don't have my MARC pack then flash something similar to it if available or your APNS/Modem/Kernel.
5. Restart, give 5 minutes for ROM to load 1st boot. (Your following boot ups will take less than 20 seconds.)
6. Those that downgraded from 4.4.2 will have best results using an upgraded modem and bypasslkm. But Downgraders - upgrade again and check out the brand new gDux 2.0 for 4.4.2!!!!!

You dont need to use a MARC pack if you are able to edit your own APNs and install a custom kernel (or stock if on Safestrap) the packs contain more of the files specific to each carrier but not necessary.

Believe the HYPE.
It is the fastest, and seriously wicked easy on battery with the best looking in my opinion theme available for 4.3 right now. If you know of better or want to argue these facts bring proof so we can all see just like the proof I've asked for when someone said my ROM that didnt flash a kernel bricked a device LOL funny stuff. the things people say to hide the truth from others for their own profit i tell ya...

sweet hope u went off the wall n chose gDux but let me know how you think it fairs. if your interested in trying the MDK MARC pack I'm not sure it'd apply to this rom but its goal is to Make Any Rom Compatible... its still test version 1 but thats because 2 of my testers said it "works great" and ive heard little more.

40mb its kinda heavy I'd call it the full version might rip it down to essentials like basically apns if necessary
might as well post the other packs for carriers if anyones interested in trying all still work in progress no promises, shouldnt hurt anything, meant to be a 1 flash all should enable all toggles, fix native wifi tethering/wifi, flash apns / cscs, gps fix usa, might end up in a bootloop with some ROMs. So if you cant figure out how to escape a bootloop or reflash/format forget about it. Feedback via PM plz

I fell asleep after I flashed it last night but I couldn't get pass the splash screen. I flashed it with ktoonsez kernel on the latest TWRP. I'll try the MDK MARC pack after work today.

ive tried downloading the full version 7 times it gets all the way to the last second says interrupted and then says done but it isn't downloading all the way ive never had an issue downloading a rom before what is going on
I'm a little confused about the Marc pack. Does this have anything to do with my wifi not working?

Instructions
1. Boot into Safestrap
2. Pick a slot...I've seen reports that some have issues if not done to stock slot but if you try a rom slot you run much less risk and can always simply delete it so I'd try a slot first to test...then flash to stock...only necessary if your worried about flashing with ss
3. Wipe the slot factory reset
4. Flash FireKat V10
5. Reboot and Let Rom Flash and Boot
6. Let sit for 10 Minutes or so then proceed with setup
7. Enjoy
Tips to optimize your experience
1. Activate developer options, uncheck/turn off force gpu rendering (a must to take aadvantage of rendering tweaks)
2. Greenify all user apps
3. I NEVER GREENIFY ANY SYSTEM PROCESSES
4. Disable any unused apps in the app manager
***with the mods and tweaks I've done to the rom you shouldn't use standby power saving or airplane modes, as these modes will negate the benefits of the tweaks and your battery will drain at stock levels due to the different battery controller system being used

My personal setup step by step...
For the absolute most optimal setup follow these few simple steps to take MegaKat to a whole new level and make your Mega run like a brand new phone...enjoy
I've had so many requests for this here ya go...here's how I do my exact setup...absolutely most optimized possible
....
1. Uncheck Force Gpu Rendering in developer options...about phone, click MegaKat V10 (whatever build your on) 10 times to unlock dev options
2. Use Wanam and Xposed to deactivate Dvsf under Advanced in Wanam...dramatic boost in responsiveness, lower running temp, no screen dimming or cpu throttling
3. Change Animation and Transition settings in developer options...set all 3 from 1.0x to 0.5x. ..another huge boost to responsiveness and speed of any launcher
4. Greenify all downloaded user apps...Dont touch system app/don't activate greenify xposed mod
5. Disable the follow apps
Samsung Push Service
Google Chrome
Google Books
Google Magazines
Google Music
Google Hangouts
Google Plus
*obviously unless you use any of the above
6. Disable google location history and location reporting...doesn't affect maps or g now at all only stops a ton of data mining and wake locks
7. Do not use power saving mode...it defeats the optimizations and tweaks I've done to make the battery life so awesome
Enjoy the new build...latterly for those who want v10 on crack and steroids...use multicore controller or setcpu to max throttle the cpu to 2.26 ghz full time on performance governor lol then you're head will be spinning
Optimized Setup 2
As for the rest of my setup. ..op2 is a standard...ive done that forever every single flash exactly the same...
Honestly I don't do much else I let the rom do all the work...
For battery life: greenify is all i use...i greenify everything except widgets like zooper pro, live wallpapers like aurora or ocean weather, root apps like setcpu root explorer ect, ...which is mainly widgets, wallpapers, and root apps...no system apps
NO TUNERS CLEANERS RAM CLEARERS ECT...these are all counterproductive and usually cause more drain than good..
I also do not freeze or uninstall a bunch of apps from my system. ..i only do the few listed in op2
Never use power saving mode on my roms
Disable google history and reporting in location settings: doesn't negatively impact google maps or now, all functions and cards work. ..just no excess data or location pings
For performance
I use multicore controller: interactive governor
2300 ghz max
1200 ghz min (although recently increased due to excess battery life) i charge at night and since v11 on every other night getting about 5 hours screen on over 36 hours total full brightness
Animations on kk esp 4.4.4 are drastically slower than 4.3...thanks google for seeing ios8 and thinking that's the direction we should go in...[emoji107]...
I always change my animations to .5 in dev options
I use setcpu with exact settings as multicore controller to adjust io scheduler...use ROW io setting
themes
I uses to theme tw by coding and hated it tbh...because I love changing themes...wanam is by far my favorite mod over greenify setcpu ect...i could so without cpu controller as the roms already so quick...but wanam gives you an insane freedom to theme as you see fit on the fly
Zooper widget pro is def my favorite app becuase of the same reason with wanam. ..the freedom to have the s5 widget on nova or g3/g flex widgets on N4 ect...or the freedom to go off an get creative makes for a one of a kind device....
That's truly the key...i give my setup as a guide for how to lean it out, speed it up ect...but love watching what everyone does with the same blank canvas...
My favorite background ever is none 1 Aurora Live Wallpaper ripped and posted in op2 for everyone...my favorite theme lately has been the beach theme on my n4
S5/n4 AccuWeather are my favorite widgets ever...up with note 1 5 day layout one...but im not a big fan of the centered transparent n4 one tbh
Stock apps:
I'm actually a big fan of the stock Keyboard on n3/n4 that's what I use plus I use the s pen a ton so it's easier...i hate the new sms theme for the most part but love the clean look and use...with apps/services like email and sms browser i tend to a stick with stock becuase i like most of the apps, they're quality, optimized in the build and run well...it's a little different on stock admittedly but on fk
I do have swiftkey and google keyboard. ...new Google keyboard is hideous imo lol
I also have javelin browser for a second browser option
Def us stock camera since i optimized it the shots are just phenomenal...but i do like the lenovo apk i posted in op2 that's a pretty cool point and shoot replica style ui to play with. ..that's the thing with most stock replacements i have or try it's just a secondary give it a shot once in a while thing for the most part for me...i like most of tw and tw apps tbh

Unlock Hidden Quick Toggles
Add Hidden Quick Toggles to Notification Bar: use Sq lite editor
1. Open and Grant Root
2. Scroll down the list to Settings Storage
3. Tap Systems.db
4. Tap System
5. Scroll down the system list until you find "notifications_panel_active_list" (see photo)
6. With notification panel active list highlighted hit the MENU BUTTON on your note
7. Tap Edit record
8. Scroll to bottom of quick toggles list
9. Add quick toggle codes for whatever toggles you want to activate with apostrophe in between each toggle ...ie ;mobiledata;hotspot; ect (full list below)
10. Once you've added the codes for the toggles you want...double check everything then click SAVE
11. Reboot
12. Enjoy the new toggles

To Replicate A N4/S5 (Any) Widget: static...these will.not change wallpapers with weather...you can I just typically like 1 at a time...preference
1. Get the background you want: either extract it from the apk of said widget or my drive box has about every flagship every made weather widget decomp backgrounds in there lol
2. Add 4x2 or 5x2 widget to home page

5. Choose last option: Bitmap
6. Choose gallery

8. Resize to fit widget box

You have to unroot. ..take the ota update to stock kit kat...root with towelroot...install safestrap then false this build...I'm not sure about dynamic bri had posted in my other thread the other day and I think his dynamic kat is on the leak bootloader running a ported booting nc2 system...so no if that's the case it won't work...you still have to unroot and do the ota

When i get that done I'll post the system ui in the Dev or themes and apps page as well as my op so if anyone's on stock or another rom that maybe doesn't include it they can just pop it in...I'm surprised someone hasn't already posted one but it's early on...if anyone else has it done just post it and I'll repost it in op

1) Download the Custom_BG_Template_OZOP_MM_07.08.2016.zip ATTACHED BELOW and extract the files to your phone or PC.
2) Choose your image and which BG you want to change (image can be a png or jpg, IMPORTANT only that the name matches my template for exact replacement
Now using the extracted zip template move your image that has been renamed to following locations and names
a) Main System BG - stangs_bg.png and stangs_bg_light.png(1080x1920, not as important as the others, it will be resized automatically)

Dialers = are all stored in the "ozop" folder in your phones extra storage. Replace any of the images with png or jpg renamed to match EXACTLY. Then use OZOP Control to switch

The ROM has been tested by F and I users. It's built from 925T Edge stock tar and my device is the 920T flat.
Unless you are using a T/W8 device you will need to flash the call audio fix in the OP.

Thanks you guys, I've been around for awhile in the TMO threads, but figured I could share some of the goodness elsewhere. You've probably seen my work around in various Aroma zip of Mods.
Anyways, for me to post screenshots is very difficult, not because it's hard, but because there are so many options to change every view instantly, like background colors/Styles, text colors or hide certain dialogs or boxes.
Here's just a couple of the colorpicker text On-the-fly Mods with a quick shot of the Dialers and settings Mods that can all be changed and tweaked instantly using my OZOP Control app.
Once you try it you'll understand what I'm talking about being difficult to get shots. Lol
Again, this is far from my first ROM and won't be my last, but this is my first ROM being shared in the international forum.
So I am willing to continue updating and bring stuff here just need your guys help if bugs pop up so I can fix them right away.
For my there are no bugs, we'll just the lockscreen security bug, but with the apktool update that should be resolved by the next update.

Just curious why I have haven't gotten any feedback?
Like I said, I have a LOT more work including my full OZOP Aroma ROM builder zip I would love to share here, but I can't work in the dark!
For me and my T mobile and Canadian users everything works perfectly!
I've received only a couple of "I" and "F" users confirming things working great after the call audio fix is flashed.
Would really like to hear from more users so I can continue my work on this project.

Honestly, I'm not sure if you will find a more customizable user controlled ROM anywhere!
Just give it a run a.d find out.
Let me say this, by giving it a run, that means at least a few days!
You simply can't explore the controls and appreciate this rom in less time than that!
After that, you'll be hooked and this will be your daily driver.

The ROM has both custom bootanimation.zip or qmg support.
There are tons of threads around xda with unlimited options.
If you do choose to use a qmg animation, simply delete the bootanimation.zip from the system/media folder and reboot. I can't remember what qmg animation I have in there, but you could try that now and get the stock animation back.
Also here is a link to my Aroma boot/shutdown/splash screen thread.
The Aroma includes 40 bootanimation, 26 shutdowns and 45 splash screens to pick from.

I have 920F (flat). Europe - Finland
I did Factory wipe before flashing the ROM
Few things.
Gallery - I cannot delete any photos from gallery. I cannot add new wallpaper from gallery. (These are minor "bugs")
Touchdown app - I use Touchdown for my corporate e-mail. Normally to sync e-mails I use "Back" button (long press) and I can sync. With this ROM it only Kills the app. So no syncing.
And the biggest issue - In-call and Out-call: I cannot hear anything when i make a call. No dial-tone, nothing (if other phone is busy or connecting). I cannot hear if other party is answering and the other part cannot hear me. This is for both out-call in in-call. Nothing.
Before I flashed that fix which you provided it was like calling to Fax or answering to a Fax call (I hope you understand what I mean by that).
I am sorry I have no logcats because I use this phone as daily driver and I really needed to get working ROM back. I can flash this again and try to gather a logcat if you need. But you have to wait few days. I need a working phone now.

I cannot hear anything even after flashing the call fix..I'm on the 925F edge.love the work but this the only issue I have and is .I hope there is a fix for this..

I have 920F (flat). Europe - Finland
I did Factory wipe before flashing the ROM
Few things.
Gallery - I cannot delete any photos from gallery. I cannot add new wallpaper from gallery. (These are minor "bugs")
Touchdown app - I use Touchdown for my corporate e-mail. Normally to sync e-mails I use "Back" button (long press) and I can sync. With this ROM it only Kills the app. So no syncing.
And the biggest issue - In-call and Out-call: I cannot hear anything when i make a call. No dial-tone, nothing (if other phone is busy or connecting). I cannot hear if other party is answering and the other part cannot hear me. This is for both out-call in in-call. Nothing.
Before I flashed that fix which you provided it was like calling to Fax or answering to a Fax call (I hope you understand what I mean by that).
I am sorry I have no logcats because I use this phone as daily driver and I really needed to get working ROM back. I can flash this again and try to gather a logcat if you need. But you have to wait few days. I need a working phone now.

1) never had any issues with gallery so don't really know how to troubleshoot the issue?
2) touchdown app - I only use Gmail, but I do understand the need for people to use corporate emails. As far as "Holding back to Kill",
Yes, "Back to kill" is set by default, but not set permanently! I have modded ALL hardware buttons to remap and reassign to various options.
The "Back" button "Long Press" mods can choose from various functions including the "Stock" TW function or you can choose to launch any app.
3) The call audio Issue is something that others have overcome, including 920F and 925F users.
I am hoping to get a reply from a user a couple post below this to clarify exactly the steps they took to get everything up and running as it should?
Did you flash a compatible kernel for your device afterwards?

It seems that things are going fine for most devices, but some F users are having the call audio issue and aren't able to correct the problem?
I am hoping that you could share SPECIFIC Steps you took to get things working properly?
1) Wipe method
2) Install Rom?
3) ??? Kernel
4) ??? Call audio
5) Anything else?

You may have notice the "Text coloring" options is in various sections?
The "SystemWide" text options are making their initial introduction and it was a little unorganized and not what I wanted.
I've relabeled the options for better descriptions of the text options, as well as added some new On-the-Fly instant color changing options!!
The system by default is inverted and included a mod to pick your own "Custom System Background" via a zip template I will post shortly in the OP with instructions! The zip template also include mods for the Pulldown Background and the Main Dialer.
Speaking of Dialer BG mods, you may have noticed a folder in device storage named "ozop", inside the folder are various images including
images that can be replaced with any image you want by renaming the image you want to
"dialercustom1.png, dialercustom2.png up to dialercustom5.png for the main dialer
and
"incallbg1.png, incallbg2.png up to incallbg10.png
That should keep you busy until v3 Full Aroma comes out with "The Missing Link" theme builder section for changing OVER 30 different sections of the phones theme with some sections having more than 50 choices!!
Basically you could pick a new totally Original theme everyday for as long as you want!
