I have samsung galaxy grand i9082. but i cannot have to root. i download adb driver and CWM-touch_i9082_chotu.rar and super user 1.25. using odin install CWM-touch_i9082_chotu.tar it shows pass but cwm mode cannot shown in recovery mode. my phone software android 4.2.2
Follow these steps
1 when u run odin uncheck the reboot option and them continue as u used to
2 after seeing pass unplug the phone and remove the battery directly without pressing any keys and wait for few seconds
3 put the battery back
4 now directly press (volume up+home+power button)
If u follow the above steps properly u will surely get into cwm recovery mode
I hav tried it on atleast 5 grand devices and it works without any fail

Do you know how to use a Win32 Disk Imager for SD card. I don't have a factory image for Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro. Can any one give me a link to download the factory image for my phone?? Thanks. My phone just hard brick after partition the memory of my phone after I reboot it then its just don't work anymore it did't charge, it won't turn on, and I can even make it to download or recovery mode. it just won't respond..

Take it the Samsung Centre. That's the only choice you have, when you get a hard brick.
simple
Go to sammobile.com register n login go to firmware section n download enter details download latest firmware flash via odin by clicking pda select firmware plug ur phone on download work mode (DWM) by clicking power down +home+power and leave power button on phone vibrates hold other buttons now u on DWM continue and click start on odin wait a while when it finish boot up ur phone start using click thanks button pls:good:

BTW I'm sorry I do not have links to i8552 images anymore. I'm using a different device now.
after flashing a custom rom named fakitkat
in my samsung galaxy star duos gt-s5282, there is a black screen appearing just after the "Samsung galaxy Star Duos:GT-s5282".
even the recovery mode isnt opening, by the key combination, "vol down+home+power", same black screen appears.
what to do, Is my device bricked, is there any possibility to recover,
please help

my samsung duos is automatically turn on and off..i don't know what to do..one more thing is i tried to hard reset in cwm (not moded cwm) it says successfully but when i turn on my phone the apps that i installed before is still in there..can't flash a moded cwm or twrp it says ''signature verification failed''..i tried to flash stock rom using odin..it says successfuly also but when in turn on my phone again nothings change..i hope you can help me..sorry for my bad english..thank you in advance..
Hi i bought a new samsung galaxy ace 3 but it is also known as gt s7262 i am running andriod jelly bean 4.1.2 i rooted mu phone using kingo root computer app and then i wanted to install custom roms but i heard u should have recoveries installed so i tried to install CWM recovery on by phone using andriod app FLASHFY i flashed cwm recivery and restarted my phone it goes into somthing like andriod system recovery 3e i have four option:
1)wipe cache partion
2)factory reset
3) reboot
4) apply update from adb
I restarted my phone several times but as it show samsung logo in boots directly into this recovery thing.
When i press home+volume up+power up button it boots in nothing just a white screen apperas and restarts and boots again into wht called system recovery. plz help me plz plz plz i really need ur help i am new of xda plz.
