Try reflashing your firmware.

Same thing happened to me like 2weeks ago lol I forgot to choose device..... But don't worry I have a solution... What I did was I flashed the rom again with the device that made my touchscreen stop working... Then without wiping system I re flashed the rom again but thus time with llw.... I didn't think it would work at first as I was only playing around... But luckily once the device booted the touch started working

Not sure if it's Gyroscope. Once I install some JB rom (Don't remember), it seem like Gyroscope don't detect thorough enough in NFS:MW so I have to tilt my phone too much than needed in order to turrn my cars.

just flash it with recovery and if sensor have a problem tell me. if you have any problem with the fixe i can trying to fixed it again and optimised for all rom

if there rom you use has a problem such acelerometre or other well in the file I change its rule here by default from the file based on there original version, but if your phone is cased I'm not on its exchange the problem x) (joke)

I got this problem since flash fluorescent rom, i think it's not because the rom and the kernel since i have flashed many roms and kernels.
so, my problem is my battery indicator get stucked at 100%, and suddenly 0% and my phone turn off. if i charge, it shows 100%.
i have flashed stock rom, clear battery status via cwm and the problem still there.
how to fix it? i frustrated

that's was happento me yesterday whan i back to zelly rom 4 from pac rom
flashed stock rom, clear battery status via cwm change kernel too kappa1.6 and kappa 1.4 and the problem still there

did you check stat_sys_battery on framework-res.apk\res\drawable-mdpi ?
maybe it have something wrong

The problem was solved
i flashed pac rom 24-7-2013
and my battery 85 % now . and i'm going to flash zellycream rom again
you can try to flash pac rom or LegacyXperia and see what is going on

...
this problem seems kernel related.. simply use other kernel than kappa for this and other stock roms if u getting int this problem...

I also faced this problem after flashing nAl's kernel on my coconut but if i flash stock kernel, it shows 100% but if i use any other kernel, then yhe battery indicator is working fine. seems i can't go back to stock kernel. Tried SEUS flashing but dosen't worked for me, please suggest me what should i do to get my battery icon working on stock ROM and kernel

hmm this is really strange man :silly:
did u wipe batery stats (after flashin stock kernel) or may try a tool like battery calibrator from market (sry for question if u already do it..)
also how u flashed back using seus?? did u reflashed rom + kernel in repair mode??? --> i allways recommend this guide/flashtool method http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/35239?tstart=0 if u have to get on stock rom + kernel.... just follow it but may u wipe battery stats bfore u do this (on custom kernl) then power off (dont boot) now if stock kernel is flashed it will make a new batterystats.bin...

Thanks for reply but I used flashtool too and followed what you said earlier wiped battery stats using custom kernel's recovery then flashed stock FTF using flashtool but then also it shows 100 %.All custom kernels of jellybean and ics are working fine but not the stock kernel.

hey bro i see ur very xperienced in kappa-related stuffs , so would like to ask a question :
can u tell me a soultion for removing/decreasing buttonbacklight?? i tried so mnay things i even cant remember i used apps, scripts, edited hwconfig as well as prehwconig etc etc.... NOTHING WORKED
for me ics is only usable with this kernel but thsi buttonbacklite is so annoying it blends me and nights its brighter than screen
but i want to use it!!!
so i would really appreciete if u can give me a solution, thx in advance.

Dear All,
I am also facing the same issue from yesterday, where my battery is stuck to 100% and not reducing its % level.
I have tried to repair the phone by PC companion, as suggested by Customer service of Sony Ericsson, However the problem is still not resolved.
I would appriciate if some one can please help me to resolve the issue.

change kernel you may revert back after some time

It is outdated ROM so change ur ROM
Use Cm 10.2 Its Good one...
Because the ROM which ur running has many bugs

So lately I've been getting this problem on my S5830i , my home screen is completely messed , originally I thought it was a custom ROM problem so I've flashed another ROM but the problem re-appeared after 2 days again !
Screenshots are attached down below !
I've tried taking off the battery and rebooting and running the phone on safe mode , still doesn't solve the problem.
BTW I am using this rom "CM7.2 Reincarnation V.5 Touchwiz" if it matters , although as I said earlier it happened on a different rom too !

Also I have a new problem if you could figure out , my screen keeps on flickering and going back for some secs when playing some games , not really demanding games , just pretty normal ones , it is rather annoying !

That due to Conflict between CM 7's some glitches and CF3D ....i think so , make sure that you have completely uninstalled CF3D then try it may it work !

Doesn't work , I even did a factory reset !
I will try reflashing the ROM , thanks anyway !
EDIT : Oh LOL actually I just found the issue ,it is quite silly , for some reason my proximity sensor is working even when I'm not making calls (wtf ?) , so I noticed when I hover something above the screen goes black , so if the hovering was brief it looked like the screen was flickering , lol ... any idea how to disable it ?
