I have a xt910 and using cm11 4.4.2 dated 30/01 build umts spyder. I have tried several builds of kitkat and they all seem to have the same issue of needing to re-pair bluetooth connections when coming out of flight mode or rebooting. My stock slot rom is 10.1 and that works fine, but when I boot into kitkat on slot one there is this issue with the re-pair. Is this an issue with being in a rom slot and may not happen as the stock rom, I dont want to stuff around with changing incase the problem still exists. Is there a work around that someone can point me towards? thanks

i installed cm 10.1 and since doing so ive had service related issues doesnt matter what rom i run since this morning. so i had a stock note 2 from verizon i used odin and the backatcha and casual packcage to root and unlock the boot loader. from there i installed touch clockword recovery mod. i then proceeded to install cm 10.1 noting i had already ran clean rom and jelly beans rom before this. no call or texting issues, still had horrible bluetooth volume and had to keep switching from bluetooth to phone to keep bluetooth working during call. i was hoping all those issues had been resolved with cm 10.1 not the case bluetooth volume is loud but to much distortion. the big problem im having right now is after flasing cm 10.1 and then going back to stock rooted rom or jelly beans rom or clean rom my phone and text service isnt working unless im in a really high signal area. had the sim card swapped out reflashed back to stock rom bootloader and still horrible service near my house and in my house. the service problems i never had before flashing cm 10.1. my imei is still intact and correct my phone number is still correct. ive tried changing network settings the whole deal, what gives ? anyone have any info that can help me ?
I just purchased this device using swappa, I actually received the device as of today...I do not have a sim card in it, yes it's rooted...Im currently using a stock JB rom 4.0.4 (have no idea which one)...Here's my problem, it's not connecting to any open SSIDs, I have tried atleast 3 or 4 different ones around my town. Its not connecting, just continues to say saved...I have no tried connecting to any secured SSIDs yet because I dont have wifi at my house. I dont think it's a problem of not having a sim card...Im new to this device and this is the first time Ive ran across this problem. Its not my first android phone, Ive been around for a while...Just trying to get some experienced help from some other users with the same phone. It might also help to tell you that I have shut the phone down and restarted. That did nothing....So has anyone had any kind of problems connecting to any open SSIDs using a stock JB 4.0.4 rom ?

4.0.4 is ICS not jb. You can try flashing the appropriate radio. Since you dont know the history of the device LGNPST is a option, so that you have a fresh start with partitions updated and a working recovery. Here is the link for LGNPST http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230994
And here are the radios http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2270319
If it's on 4.0.4, that's ICS, and if its rooted, it's possible that the JB radio was installed, which could be a problem, because WiFi only works on ICS with the ICS radio, the JB Radio breaks wifi on ICS; also, teh ICS radio breaks wifi on JB.
I'd recommend either flashing a more up-to-date rom, or flash the ICS radio.
Problem was fixed with up to date rom

Hi guys,
I tried few different builds of CM12 but on each build I tested I can't make my Wifi to work stable. It works for a while, then it drops and I cannot to connect again. Anyone have the same issue? How to resolve it? I tried already different gapps and different kernel. On stock 4.4.4 everything is working fine.
i have same issue on stock 4.4.4
i cant connect again unless i restart the phone or router !
As mentioned in some of the custom ROM threads, there has been an issue with Bluetooth not connecting to paired devices after the phone reboots.
I know that Saatvik Shukla said that he was going to look at it in a response in his Euphoria OS thread.
Has anybody who has experienced this issue found a ROM other than Stock or GPe port which reconnects to BT successfully after reboot lately? I don't really have the time to set everything up twice (SBH52, Car, Watch) should the ROM that I try still fail with BT connections.

I use Cm12.1 Nightly.
The "/data/etc/bluetooth_bdaddr" file was missing.
Therefore, the Bluetooth MAC address changed each time after switching on.
For the 1st post since joining nearly five years ago, you've sure made it count!.
I copied the bluetooth_bdaddr file from /data/etc/ from Scrubbers 5.1 GPe port to a safe location, installed the latest AICP, then copied the file back to /data/etc/ (fixing the permissions afterwards). My bluetooth devices have reconnected after every reboot since.
I have since gone back to 5.1 GPe to get the remaining contents of /data/etc/ as that folder on AICP (and presumably every other custom ROM) was completely empty.
Thanks so much.
Hi there
Since I updated my MI A3 to Android 11 the microphone sometimes doesn't record voices !
( I reset and flashed my phone so many times but didn't solve )
Upppppp
If you flashed stock with miflash... Probably the problem is hardware. I have flashed many stock and custom a11 firmware. And my microphone work well. A question. When you reflashed stock rom... You have changed the active slot? All updates are installed on slot b. So if want to make a good clean istallation... In my opinion is better set active slot to a via fastboot before flash. Try this. Also you can try a custom stable rom with oss drivers. But is important to make a good installation. Or the software problems may not be solved
Recently after owning a new car that is my first using Bluetooth handsfree option, I discovered this issue.
It seems the mic got somehow "stuck" to the car when I leave it, as the phone's normal mic then is okay. Just when trying to use the phone's handsfree mic in a call oder video calling in signal or hangouts it doesnt work. Even recording videos using the camera app is fine, but any handsfree option for any communication does not work.
Restarting the device or restarting bluetooth does not work. Somehow the phone recovers after sometime. When, why and how I do not know.
It definitely breaks down again once reconnected to the car.
with other bt devices have same problem?
Sadly I don't have any other bt device that is handsfree mic capable, I just own a speaker that is connected every now and then - it was my first idea to recover it by connecting to another bt device (the said speaker), but it does not work. Of course, the speaker is not connected using the same bt variant, the icon in the phone's settings is different.
mmmm... for this issue, the solution are: try delete all bt connection. if dont work try install latest software update. if dont work the definitive solution is wipe data and make a new clean installation. i suggest do this via miflash
