Hello. I have a problem with my phone. Whenever i get a call the screen doesn't turn on and I have to press the home button to turn the screen on and be able to answer or reject. It vibrates and rings but the screen doesn't turn on :/
Any help would be appreciated.

r u using software like full-screen caller or similar?
hopefully a factory reset fix this

No actually I'm not, but im using couple of notification apps like awesome notifer and floatifications, I donno if this has anything to do with the problem.

@ch0c0lateb0yctg already solved man with a factory reset, I asked cuz I thought I could solve it without having to reset the phone.

Some times the screen protector is causing this problem.
No I dont think its bcuz of it cuz I've been using it and it didnt cause any problems, and the problem is solved now tnx to a soft reset.

I started to notice last night EVERY time I turn my screen on I have the popup to add items to the lock screen. Any ideas as to why?

My wife had the same issue. I phoned a Samsung repair center and they said its one of two things, the power point or the touch receiver. They are going to repair it under warranty.

Unfortunately, if the button is not working after reset, I'm sure there is a hardware issue. You should contact a Samsung repair center. I hate to have my phone touched by some local services, as most of them are kinda stupid doh
Guys could you please help me whenever I open my whatsapp and enter my phone no. A message pop ups and says that unable to connect and reboot your phone I've rebooted it several times I've tried whatsapp plus too!! My WiFi is working smoothly plz help guyz :'(

if i just turn off 3G services for 10 seconds or so and then turn it back on, it will then connect without issues. other times turning airplane mode on and off as well.
Every time I press the home button it brings up the recent apps/task manager multitasker window. I click it once for a split second and it brings it up like it would if I held it down for five seconds. This has been happening for about a month now and I have no idea why. Plus I notice that when I turn off the screen it lags for a second too. I'm on build MJ7 and I'm rooted. Yes I have tried turning the phone off and clearing the memory, along with setting processes to the lowest amount but nothing works. Does anyone know what it is or how to fix it? Thanks.

My beloved Xperia Z2's screen has some serious problems. Funny lines appear on the display, making the screen unclear and hard to read (see pictures attached).
The weird thing is that when the screen has been off for 30 seconds or more the display is fine again, for about a second, then back to fuzziness...
I have done a factory reset with no love, of anyone has any ideas or suggestions on how to fix, I would be forever thankful

If it doesnt show up when you screenshot, then its hardware
If this problem was firmware/software your systemUI or surfaceflinger would crash, if not it would show in the screenshots
And also it wouldnt show in the fota kernel or kernel boot process
