I figured a lot of people want this instead of a nandroid backup so here you go. You're all welcome. Be aware that you will need to upload the fixed build.prop (recommended for US users) and change the boot animation (optional). Unpack the zip file and use stock recovery to flash this update.

Can this be used on an O2-UK Dell Streak?
If so can we n00b's have a little guide?
Im desperate to get official 2.1, thanks!
Yup, it's from O2 as you can see in the screenshot.
as simple as dropping it on the sd card then?
No special build.prop adjustments? (<--the scary part for me)
Yup, absolutely. You don't have to edit the build.prop since you have O2 anyway. It's only for US users so it will reflect the US paid apps.

Not really, could just root with Universal Androot after flashing it?
I'm waiting for someone else to confirm this is legit though
Universal root works. I've had this update running for a week now.
Wow, really?
Is it worth flashing over the previous 2.1 rom?
I took the leap for everyone and it does indeed install. I have only had it running for a few minutes but it does seem a little faster than the beta. Hard to believe this is the official as there is still no way to use the front facing camera in the camera app unless i am missing something.
What else do you guys want me to check out?
Let me know I'll try it
I currently have the 6941 build. I have the At&t US version streak. If I update to this will this cause me any issues? I'm also rooted.
Mine's rooted and the front camera still can't be used unless i open fring or qik.

Which is why I question if this is the official update. Any reason for you to think it is? Or just guessing?
Any thing else that doesn't work from 1.6 to indicate it may not be official? I only used 1.6 for about 5 minutes so it is hard for me to compare.
its official from 02
Check the screenshot. It's official from O2. How many times do i need to repeat that? I got the notification as well.

There were others at Modaco that got update notifications for the 7546 package but that didn't make it official. I am just asking how you are confirming this is official or what about the about screen makes it official.
And I like I said I upgrade to it and it for sure is an update and seems to be running fine.
On the leaked update there is no trace of any brand support whatsoever. This one had a link to the O2 support site. I had to confirm it from an O2 rep. Yup, it's legit. Funny how they still didn't fix the front facing camera. In 2.2 perhaps? By the way, don't look at my about screen.. I'm talking about the screenshot on my first post.

so far one person on howardforums.com in the windmobile section has loaded it, he thinks some icons changed colours to notify of sms but isnt sure.
Just got the 1.43.531.3 few days ago... hope this one you are talking about is better
Maybe it just fixes the roaming issue some Wind users are reporting, where everything was considered "not roaming"?
Anyone live near the border of Wind's coverage that would like to check?
anyone know how the update method with HTC works?
if i download it via that updater can i not install it right away and grab the file onto my desktop?
or do i have to do something sneaky like set-up wireshark on my desktop and connect the phone wirelessly to desktop and sniff the packets to get the url of the download to get it separately to see what's in it before installing it..

so just digging through here, there appears to be some sound recorder updates, a battery logger (smith.apk) some other qualcom logger of some sort ( QXDM2SD.apk )
updates to phone.odex, htcsoundrecord.odex, htclaputa.apk htcmessageuploader, protips, stk.apk, tag.apk...
and the main part of it is a zip file for firmware.zip, not sure if those have changes to them or if they are the same as the last ones, someone with more brains on this would be able to tell.

Hi, I also just saw this notice today of the update. I have unlocked my bootloader and I have rooted. No custom ROM on yet.
Can anyone confirm if this situation is OK or will the update remove my unlocked bootloader and UN root my phone?
Don't suppose this would change phone from S=on to S=off?
Many thanks

If you applied the update you will lose root and it will not effect your s-on/s-off state or lock/unlock your bootloader.
You will need stock recovery to flash the OTA.

Yup, ATT M8..... the nightly from today from here http://www.cmxlog.com/12/m8/ .... could it be because of the new radio that came with the 4.4.4 ota?

Are you saving them? You will need to save before you exit.
You will also want to reset after saving. This isn't a must, but sometimes required to take effect.

That is going to be a tough one to answer. Most folks haven't even gotten the OTA yet. Maybe once more folks have gotten the OTA, we'll know whether they have the same problem or not.

I can't seem to find a fix for this... Any update(s)?
Hey all I am having the same problem. I updated to 4.4.4 this morning on my AT&T m8. I installed cm12 through TWRP with the right gapps. I didn't see any information about a kernel that needed installed with it. Everything worked fine except I had no cellular connection. I checked the APN list and there was no APN listed, only the message "Access point name settings are not available for this user". I tried making a new APN with At&t settings but when I hit save the APN was not in the settings list. I was again greeted with the message "Access point name settings are not available for this user". I followed some threads for general APN issues and toggles airplane mode, tried other nightlies, made sure the sim card was correctly inserted to no avail. Any help is greatly appreciated!
I read a few things about changing the conf-apn.xml file in the android code but I have no idea how to go about that or if that is even the right solution.
Thanks everyone!
Well, I'm not sure at this point, where to send either one of you. bford152, redpoint73 and I have given you multiple suggestions, none of which have been helpful.
It may be best for both of you to see if the Dev for this version of CM12 has a G+ chat, or the like, in which the users of this ROM can communicate. It is unfortunate they have not posted their ROM here on XDA, as that would help understand the issue.
I would assume (now that there are 2 of you with the same issue) that there may be underlying problems with the build.

Ummm.... All of the ROM's that I've flashed have been from xda. I did notice that my access point when running the stock 4.4.4 states ATT Nextgenphone... Maybe that's the issue? Without being s-off is there anything that I can install to bring me to a Lollipop build in the same way CM12 did? I'm going to flash cm12 1-27-15 nightly with a different gapps package right now... I'll see if anything has changed
Hello Ladies and Gents,
I threw together a flashable rom based off the newest update for the m9 dev edition.
This runs perfectly on the regular AT&T Variant since they are the same hardware just have minor differences.
Rom Features
-1.32.617.30 base (reverted to the old base because of calling issues)
-Odex'd (not sure why HTC still does it since ART doesn't need it)
-Rooted with SuperSU
-BusyBox
Download
I might do a little cleaning up (removing boot sound and some other stuff) let me know if you'd be interested in that.

How do you flash this? Is this possible to flash with S-on??
This uses a "camera-fix" base - if I flash it to my non-camerafix-ota'ed AT&T M9, will I effectively have a camera-fixed phone and be able to skip the OTA? Or does the OTA fix lower level firmware images of the camera, etc? What would happen if I flashed this on my non-ota'ed 1.32.401.15 phone?

Flash via twrp and you'll be fine, it might give a message about not being able to mount /system but that's a normal thing because the system is read only.
It will work with s-on because its just the system and boot partitions, OTAs won't work on it though obviously.
The North American unlocked and developer editions are the same as our phone just different firmware.

You have to unlock via htc dev, then flash twrp
use the beta version of twrp as well. Then you can make a backup of your stock system .

Someone needs to check and see if VoLTE works with the Developer Edition, on the M8 it did not work... Just a thought. since ATT builds are differently configured thought id throw that out there for those in a VoLTE area.
I have HTC 10 unlocked running on verizon by flashing VzwHTC10_1.19.605.22radio.img but lately I've had some issues receiving some text messages.
I've tried re-flashing radios and google messenger, verizon, and textra and it doesn't seem to matter. I was wondering if someone has maybe gotten a new radio file that works better or any other ideas to fix this?
Also I use verizon messenger on my pc and all the messages seem to load up instantly on their from people but will sometimes never show up on my phone.

However, if I "were" going to do so and flash a Vzw radio on a US Unlocked model running a version of Nougat:
I would personally use the Vzw Nougat Radio image found HERE, rather then an older Marshmallow one.
If you choose to do so, you are doing so at your own will.
