Lol the Xperia S forum has moved to join the ion and other devices with that chipset but if you have a high brightness yes this can be normal. On auto brightness - bright mode my xperia p has the screen at about 60 percent all the time, your screen is slightly bigger, maybe thats why its 70
OK thanks

In jelly bean many users saw an important drain battery
Operators provide fast dormancy, this leaves the phone at an intermediate stage, spending more battery, because in certain areas there is a problem. usually the fast dormancy should not be disabled, but in areas where you are experiencing this problem, it is useful to disable
This guide was usefull for optimus g,my optimus black and for some galaxy users
Following this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2018894,
In system/etc/dcmsettings.xml
There are many operator
Find yours operator and replace
fastdormancy_param="1,0,0,1000,5000,600000,5000,5000,1,0,1"
With
fastdormancy_param="0"
If your operator not there, you need to create it
Follow this http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_country_code#section_1 , find your national operator, MNC and MCC, and build strings. ..for example
<profile>
<siminfo
operator="WIN"
country="IT"
mcc="222"
mnc="88"
extraid=""
/>
<settings
fastdormancy_param="0"
ipmtu="0"
/>

One time you change values, i don't why, sometimes, permissions of dcmsettings.xml are changed. Check it (rw-r-r) otherwise process.phone.com crash

R: [GUIDE] How to disable fastdormancy for draining JB
For me is useless disable fastdormancy. H3g support it very well, no difference, always battery drain in standby. Instead is wifi that drain really more battery in standby than ics. This is real difference on my phone. I solved problem with app that disable wifi automatically on screen off and enable it on screen on. Now i am using phone like on ics by one day and half with 30% still alive battery
This is real perfect solution for me. No more drain battery in standby finally!

Can we do something similar on CM 10.1? I don't see that file in /system/etc.
Thanks.
don't think so, the problem "fast dormancy" (in certain areas) is related to LG firmware

This is not solution to drain battery. Drain is caused by wifi on in standby, with ics there was not this problem. You are completely in the wrong way. Really too bad. Fast dormancy "works" only with data activated and 3g. And many operators support it, why disable? Why you write all these bull****?

Solution? I don't know the solution. Only LG knows, i think. No one definitive solution for now.
Istalled 4.4.2 Sensation v7 with boefla kernel on my Galaxy S3.
I have some problems with battery.
1. Ultra Power Saving Mode.
Before I went to sleep i turned on Ultra Power Saving Mode (a have 32% of battery - 4 days with this mod) I slept about 8 hrs and when I woke up I saw only 18%. So, i think it's not works properly.
2. Low charging speed of battery. About 6 hrs i charged the phone.
Help pls
2. Check charge value on boeffla config app when you charge your phone: it should be 1000mA. If not, your charger or USB cable could be faulty.
Verify that value of charge amperage ac on misc tab is 1000mA.

No deep sleep: kernel wakelock "bluesleep" and "msm_serial_hs_dma"
Hi
Just received few days ago the G watch and I am noticing no deep sleep on my nexus 5 with kitkat 4.4.4 stock with root.
the G watch is on 5.0.1 and Android Wear I 1.0.5.1630507
The battery drain of the watch is normal, around 30hrs or more.
The kernel wakelock bluesleep and msm_serial_hs_dma last the same time.
I am running on Dalvik.
Do you have any suggestion?
Thanks
Woody
I have also this issue but depend on Watchface used. For example, Watchface from "Smartwatch Bureaux" like Axx, Fxx, Vxx with Weather have many battery issue.

I decided to move to Lollipop and now I am with Cataclysm ROM and I am really satisfied.
Absolutely no issue with this wakelock.
I don't know if stock Lollipop would be the same, but I preferred to mount this ROM that is really good.

Could be a kk issue.
Any other example of improvements moving from kk to lollipop? I can't try with my Z3 yet!

Has someone else noticed an improvement going from kk to L? I can't test is yet on my D6603.

I've just updated my Z3 to 5.0.2 and I still have both msm_serial_hs_dma and BTLowPower going hand in hand and keeping my phone always awake.
Is there any possibility that I have a defective unit?
Thanks.
I'm getting so many bluesleep and msm_serial_hs_dma wakelocks.
I'm on 5.1 Cataclysm + ElementalX and can't find a solution.
Did anyone get rid of that kind of wakelocks?
