I renamed and moved that file on my 7" but can't find it on the 8.9. I'm trying to block any updates. Anyone know where it is?

Try the download trick I suggested and make sure you run it while using the nook home launcher

If you froze device manager that can keep you from accessing the nook market and stuff. Just unfreeze it and the nook store will work. Then freeze it again when you are done. That's what works for me.

Sideloading is basically downloading apps from an outside source, other than the amazon AppStore. There are plenty of alternative app stores you can download by searching for on your Kindle browser. Most of the time you can search for the apk file on google and download that pretty easily, without having to use any third-party app store.
Hi I'm an Amazon Prime Member and want to use the lending library. I think this is possible with the Amazon Apps from the fire. Has anyone tested this?
I would like to see this happen also.

I have the google play store installed, but when going to the Sirius XM app page it tells me that my device is not compatible with this version. If I had an android phone I would simply install it on there and move it to my fire, but unfortunately the KF is my first android device. It's it possible for anyone to either upload their own apk of this app or point me to a place to download it?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Anyone know what I need to change in build.prop to fool android markets into thinking my Sero7 Pro tablet is a Kindle Fire HD?
