Has anyone bought cases from Ali-Express? - Galaxy Note 3 Accessories

http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale...3+case&catId=&initiative_id=SB_20140203165642
The prices are amazing, shipping takes a helluva long time, not sure if their user reviews are legit.
Anyone ordered from this site before?

I have ordered a few things and have been legit. Electronics can be hit and miss. Have had to send back at my expense. But cases I'd say your safe.

I have, the latest item was the sview case for this phone. It sucked. Cases are hit or miss with them and the wait is the worst part.

Just think of it as a asian version of ebay where you can purchase anything from 1 to 10000 pieces.

I got a spigen slim armor for my s3 that was impecable, but I'd prob agree that it may be hit or miss. I had no prob though. Prob order slim armor view in a bit.

Wait before you order one, the window for the sview cases is too big. Since the original was launched they may have one that is the correct size, that's why I threw mine to the side.

any bubbles? mine will be here tomorrow!
Not a single bubble. It's very nice. It also seems to not collect oil from your hands either.
I got it and I would say it's a perfect fit. To be bubble free depends on your experience applying it. It is no different however from the $3 for 5 pack dry application protectors you find on ebay (rearth comes with 2). I wouldn't have bought it if it wasn't for amazon free 2 day shipping. I don't want to wait 3 weeks for a hongkong seller to mail it.

I had one come with my case. It was descent but I didn't like the feel. I play a lot of "slidy" games and most screen protectors just feel to tacky.

I got the Ringke Slim. I really like the in-hand feel. Gives the Note just the right "oomph" without adding a ton of bulk.
Keep in mind that this is a very minimalist case -- a lot of people were caught off guard by this. The sides are largely exposed, for example.
Also, the back is not tacky like a TPU case. I added egrips.
The port covers are nice, they come with one extra of each, and they are easily removable if you dont like them. I removed the charger port cover and kept the 3.5mm cover.
FYI it's cheaper on amazon if you have Prime.... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0074MQ1T6

Yup. I ordered mine thru prime. You can't beat the $3.99 overnight shipping. I'm waiting on a sd card from Amazon right now.
Just got the rearth and applied it. Perfect fit - it will extend to less than 0.5mm from the edge of the screen if you do it right.
I was hoping the oleophobic properties were better. More fingerprints and friction than I would like.

I too bought the Rearth from Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/Rearth-Samsun...Q1T6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1330046814&sr=8-1
I just applied my screen protector tonight. Got it on the first try. I've installed 10-20 screen protectors before so I have experience.
I bought the Zagg a couple days ago at best Buy and totally screwed it up! What a waste of $22. Never buying Zagg again. Plus, the Zagg screen protector feels a little "sticky" not as smooth as the Rearth.
The Rearth is almost like it's not there. We'll see if it shows as many scratches as the cheap-o ones that come from Hong Kong. I too usually buy those ones for my phones, but I didn't want to wait 3 weeks. There was no U.S. sellers. I figured spending $12 now with free 2 shipping is better than taking a chance at scuffing up the screen before I got the screen protectors from eBay.
I purchased the Slim case from Rearth for my Note also.
I've had three Rearth cases now and also have the vecro keyboard cover for my macbook.
I absolutely love their products. Exactly what they say they are.
The screen protector works, looks, and feels great imo.
Easy to install, crystal clear, perfect fit. I love it.

I like that they have different colors. The brown would look sexy on the white note, but on a black one may look odd. Note sure though. I noticed they had a burgandy or maroon one, nice to have some options.
Very nice. But that's really pricey.
It reminds me of the Samsung flip cases. I wonder if it supports the NFC antenna as it looks like it replaces the back battery cover.

I don't think it replaces the back cover. They make another version without the flip cover that is a 2-part, front and back snap together case. This one looks just like it. So the back of the case fits over the Note's back cover, then you attach the front bezel.

That's on the optimistic side of typical for HK purchase. I bought some batteries mid month and saw 28th as expected delivery and thought it was great, then when the 29th came I was wondering where my stuff was and looked it up and it actually had said the end of the following month. I was ticked, mostly as myself. Batteries showed up a week or two later though ahead of schedule.
Just bought mine from amazon for $39.99
When you get one of these Tryit cases in, will you please let us know if the bezel covers the edge of the display? From the pictures, it looks like it doesn't (which would allow me to put a Glas.t on it). Thanks.
Once I get it, I'll post pics.

I still think Diztronic holds the crown for best affordable case and arguably best case at any price for it's slim profile. It provides a lip around the screen as well as a lip around the camera.
I'd originally ordered the case as a temporary case until my Spigen Neohybrid case came in. But with Spigen screwing around with the ship date I decided to cancel the order completely and simply use the Diztronic case permanently. The quality is excellent and based on pictures of the Neo Hybrid, the Diztronic case is also more compact since the edge conforms to the phone more than the Spigen case does.

My NH is "supposed" to ship on the 24th so I guess Ill just wait instead of risking it never getting canceled. I just hope it fits right.

I have this case and it really does not add a lot of bulk to the phone.
I would say around half the thickness of the Spen on its slimmer side, if that makes sense.
Protects the phone really well though, since it has 2 material composition.
I have dropped my phone from my face height several times (talking while holding multiple other stuff on both hands) but case looks fine besides a few surface scratches.
Thickness is about 7/16 (.4375) or 11mm.

Doesn't look all that similar to me. My main concern is that it might have a transparent shell based on that watermark logo in the pics. That would prevent me from using it with my slightly thicker official Samsung wireless charge cover battery door. The Bear Motion / Poetic case fits fine but I hate the squishy power button. They don't show any pics without a phone so I can't tell if there is a shell or not. With a shell it wouldn't technically be a bumper, but Love Mei is guilty of that error too.

Here are the pics after almost 20 days waiting. It is of decent quality but the openings are not accurat. I ordered one from aliexpress. I received my case in 15 days, not bad at all. As for the quality of the case, I really can't complain, it says spigen neo hybrid, nothing like spagen or ned hibrid. The access to the ports work ok, the S-pen is a little harder to get but not impossible. The buttons feel a little shaky but not bad.
For 6.35 usd and free shipping I can't find for now anything wrong. I am sure there are great differences with the real one, but I don't have one to compare. You get what you paid for.

Oh I forgot, the seller provided a tracking number, that is not usual for an order with low value. So it's another plus for them.

I'm assuming, since that was their one and only post, that they do NOT have both cases! Heck, they probably don't even have one of them, real or fake. People normally don't bother to join a site just to make 1 short post. If they felt so strongly about the topic that they did go through the trouble of joining a site just to post, then you can be assured that they would reply when quoted and asked for more info on that topic!
Anyway, that out of the way. I appreciate your posts, pics, and info. It doesn't look bad at all, I was honestly expecting much worse! Unless someone has an authentic Spigen case in that same model, then they won't know the difference. I have an authentic Spigen Bounce case, but I wouldn't have known that yours was a knock-off had you not stated it.

Has anyone tried this case? I want to give it a shot but I wanted some feedback if someone has already tried it or has it.

I got the silver one.

I got my case from this aliexpress seller:

Thanks, I have tried original spigen case for my S3 and I think they are overpriced. Specially for the newer model phone like our S3. I will buy the knock off instead. Thank you.
One question though, they do not accept paypal, and I am weary of giving out my credit card number. Did you use CC or bank transfer?

Edit:
I couldn't resist the temptation so I ordered 2 cases. Slim Armor and Neo Hybrid both for $13 delivered. We'll see when they get here next month.
I've seen some killer deals on that site, but always wondered about the sketch-factor, so have never placed an order. However, after getting a feel for what they're all about through this thread, I'm feeling some temptation to grab one of these S-View cases: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/High...-N9000-Elegant-Stylish-Design/1347667183.html
Anyone have one? Thoughts?
Regarding the problem with the S-pen hole in the Neo Hybrid knock-off, I'd probably just grab a drill with any medium sized bit, then run the drill and use the side of the bit to "sand" around the edges to widen and align the hole. Seems like that would work on plastic, unless I'm missing something?

I have a real one (amazon) as well as a replica (aliexpress). The hole for the S-pen is too small on the replica unless your friends call you captain hook and you have trouble getting through security at airports. Waste of money as it cannot be easily modified to work better.

I got one of these and after a couple of minutes with a sharp knife and small file I was able to enlarge the s-pen opening. Now no problems.
