Hey my s3 (i9300) is experiencing a no network issue my imei and s/n are normal tried restoring efs backup no effect i do have an efs back made by H-tool this happened after updating to 4.3 i lost my network i then went back to 4.1.2 still nothing help would be appreciated
what I've tried so far:
1)Upgrade to 4.3(s4 revolution v12 and mk6 stock) (what caused the issue)
2)Downgrade to 4.1.2 then restore efs backup
3)flash mg4 modem

Hello!
I'm with CM11 unoffical 4.4.
My modem is XXEMG4 and I would like to go back to I9300XXELL4 now I know that there is a problem with that and that there is some kind of fix but I could not find an answer for it...
all I could find is solution if the IMEI is 0000 or no S/N but that is not the case for me...
Please I would appreciate your help.

i say i will make hero and test 4.3 I9300XXUGMJ9 after flash it by odin
i don't have signal although IMEI Right and don't fake
i test ARIZA PATCH and efs back up and many modern but Don't Work

hi gays am new in this website and iam very need your help plz help me.
my problem is...............i have lost my imei number that was held when i have flashed spr v7 rom
in the first the base band number and the imei was unknown and then i anstalled the ariz patcher the base band was ariz but i have flashed modem xxugm4 but the imei was 0049990106400/01 and the mobile cant read the sim card and then i have restore my bobile to stock 4.1.2 and not fixed and then installed 4.3 and no fixed please help me ihave abig problem ............sory for bad english

Hay guys ,
I'm Mina Alphons and I having a problem with my SGS3 I9300 16GB
...
my phone doesn't read my imei when i install a MG4 or higher modem !! it can't be upgraded to efsv2 !!
i can't upgrade my phone to android 4.3 JB cause my IMEI will be like that 006.....
I tried to flash my old modem that i use now MB5 on 4.3 .. and i get unknown imei and serial ...
what should i do to upgrade my phone to 4.3 without imei problem or modem problem ???
in a easy way

Well thats odd. First make a backup of your imei if its not corrupted in the 4.1.2. Older than MG4 modems have efs v1 but MG4 can read both v2 and v1. Upgrading has never given a imei problem in my experience, only downgrading. Again BACKUP your IMEI. Factory reset and flash a stock rom do try 4.3 after making nandroid and efs backups. Which rom are you using btw?

I have a I9300 which had its motherboard replaced due to an issue with one of the pieces. When they changed it, it had its signal normally. When I changed the ROM (I didn't made a backup of the EFS folder) I had no service. I took it to repair again and they fixed it. I made a backup of the EFS now, and went to change the ROM again (Omega 50.1) and it lost the service again!!! I tried restoring the EFS but it doesn't work now... What could it be? The APNs are fine and the IMEI is fine as well.
AP: I9300XXEMRG
CP: I9300XXEMG4
CSC: I9300XECEMR5
I've notice that the serial number has a bunch of zeros, but Ariza patch didn't work.

It would of changed from a EFS v1 (XXELCK) to a v2 (XXEMG4), so it shouldn't be an issue. I've read them all multiple times. I'm now reading through all the comments on the Ariza Patch post
