This mod will enable your phones 2G/3G toggling through the "Toggle 2G Plugin".
"Toggle 2G Plugin" can also be used with "Tasker".
(There is no need for it though)

I am sorry I don't have i9195 nor I can't find any other S4 mini model than i9192 in my country.

Thanks for this mod. Unfortunately it's not working on my i9192 ;-(. When I replaced the SecPhone_DS.apk in /system/app folder and deleted SecPhone_DS.odex. I can't get signal on any of the SIM (like I was in Flight Mode). When I try to open SIM card manager I received the error:
"Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped".
BTW, my original SecPhone_DS.apk has 14,43 MB, while your file has only 9.8MB. I'm using I9192XXUBML4 ROM. May I send you my SecPhone_DS.apk, so you could try to modify it?

i suggest adding the guide of how to do it using apktool/smail tools .. this is a development forum and everyone should learn :silly: :laugh:

Unfortunately it's still not working for me. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I installed the "Toggle 2G Plugin-in" from google play. Then I downloaded Toggle2G-v0.3.5-Update.zip from the other thread and installed it via recovery. After reboot I tap on Toggle 2G Plugin-in and it says: "This plugin requires the Toggle 2G application to be installed before it will work! It will not work without it so please don't give bad rating!"
It looks like the Toggle2G-v0.3.5-Update.zip didn't install properly (although there were no errors while installing through recovery). Any ideas?

Uninstall the APK via Titanium Backup.
Extract apk from "Toggle2G-v0.3.5-Update.zip" install it as usual.
Open TB go to the "Toggle 2G" app and convert it to System application.

Titanium Backup doesn't see the app, so I just deleted it from /system/app folder.
Then I extracted the app from "Toggle2G-v0.3.5-Update.zip" and tried to install, but all I get is: "App not installed" error message ;/
I also tried to manually copy the extracted file to /system/app folder using Root Browser and set chmod 644. Still no success ;-(

BTW, why the app requires sooo many permissions? E.g. "directly call phone numbers" (this may cost you money), "edit/read/send! text messages, take pictures and videos!, record audio!, network locations, read/modify your contacts, add/modify calendar events and send emails to guests without owners' knowledge, content sharing, Share your device's screen with another device, add or remove accounts, , full network access... and many more. I just hope it's not any spy app, lol

Sample: the *.lnk it is in the main directory of \startmenu\programs.
Now i will move it to \startmenu\programs\sample_dir.
Great app! Now only if it looked and functioned a little better.. I'd cook into into my ROM for good.
First you need to use the Category Editor to create sample_dir in P*.
Once that is complete, find your link in the list and change the category to sample_dir.

I have it installed to my storage card, what is yours named?
Do you have a bluetooth sharing folder on your device? I've seen a issue where sometimes that folder is not always accessible and can cause errors when I traverse the file system.

No it is a network sharing folder to get software from my server.
It is created with the Schaps_NetworkPlugin_1_0_30468_1.CAB

Tried it out on my Touch Pro 2. Its definitely the folders not always being accessible, now its time to see if I can get the remote debugging working.

What root explorer do you use? I tried Astro and it did not let me write the files to the directories, gave me errors every time, and when I tried individually it said could not write also.... Going to look for another root explorer

You may need to make sure that the permissions are set right. ES will change them. Just long press the files, go to properties, then change the permissions.
So we copy each of the files in the /system directory of the smartactions folders into their respective folders in the phones /system?
for instance there is a folder for the app, all of those files go into the /system/app folder of our phones?? etc...

As soon as I set up a rule it force closes, and then continues to do so each time. I'm using a standard PA JB rom.

This application is not install, but you must:
1. Download "com.android.phone-res.apk" from Attachments into your SD Card
2. With Root Explorer (or another like Total Commander) go to "/system/vendor/overlay" and replace existing
3. Set permission "com.android.phone-res.apk" to rw-r-r (644)
4. Reboot
or you can use second simply instalation method with Recovery Menu

My recordings were all in slo mo (nothing to do with the slo mo function of the phone),and when i got back to other call recorders (acr) they dont work properly,thanks!

Use the root explorer to edit your build.prop, scroll down until you see this line: ro.build.target_operator=SPR change "SPR" to: GLOBAL and then save
Use titanium backup to uninstall the LG text message app and find a alternative (I use textra)
Reboot
Go into XPOSED G3 Tweakbox and click "Theme Tweaks" then toggle "Enable Theme mod"
Next click "Status Bar" and scroll down
Now tap on "Change wifi icon set" and set the type you want ( I use "OPEN") then press "CANCEL"
Now tap on "Change signal icon set" and set the type you want ( I use "OPEN (5 BAR)") then press "CANCEL"
Now tap on "Change data icon set" and set the type you want ( I use "VZW") then press "CANCEL"
Reboot
BOOM! No more com.android.phone popups- Note that the data enable/disable icon will not work.... That I cannot do anything about!
WIFI issue fix:

Once in the "WI-FI" settings click the three dot menu (upper right hand corner)
Then click "Advanced WI-FI"
Scroll down and uncheck "WI-FI signal weak"
Then uncheck "Switch to mobile data"

Nope, just flash ROM and your unlocked as long as your on this ROM once you leave it, you lose it.

Yeah having same problem, but twrp restarts itself when it attempts to flash. DL from my phone and computer, but computer cant transfer the file to my phone for some reason.
This looks so good a with the G4 theme

Reflash twrp and download from the server nearest to you. The flashing errors are coming from AFH sometimes downloads fail with them.

It was a bad upload, hence the 70mbs :silly: I am re uploading it now everyone, see if that fixes it. I also added a back up link try that if AFH does not work.

Hi all
I've accidentally deleted my stock messages app through Titanium backup (just wrong key press) and I'm trying to locate which is the correct apk so as to put it back in system path (priv-app I guess??) but I can't find it...
I have almost everything in backup files so I just need the name of the apk and system path location...
Can someone help?

From a friends upload it should be
/system/priv-app/SecMms_Delight_Note_Open/SecMms_Delight_Note_Open.apk
I will check when at home with an already downloaded S6 ROM.
I'm sure it's inside priv-app and it must start with "SecMMS*"
I own a S5 so ATM is all I got.

I was sure it was that from what I ve found over xda and web but the strange thing is that I have this folder in my system/priv-app/Sec-mms-delight-open (no sec-mms-delight-note-open) but it doesn't show up in my apps...I even deleted it and restore it back by setting correct permissions of course and reboots between but nothing succeded...I don't know what else to try...every proposal accepted

If you were initially messing up with Titanium, it may be Freezed there and, therefore, no showing.

I ve deleted it accidentally through titanium but apk is still there in the system/priv-app...what more can try?
Can you please delete this file from your system and then put it back to see if this is the correct one.and your stock sms app will reappear?

What I've suggested ... go back to Titanium and check if the Message App is or is not Freezed.
As long as deleting you may have freezed it and this will prevent it from showing up.

It appears as uninstalled and the thing is I ve also deleted my backup from thia...I havent got the paid titanium so I can t freeze the app...I just can t understand why while I ve even extracted the folder from the system dump image I ve downloaded and put it inside priv-app, it s not getting back.
How is this app called in your titanium app catalog?

What do you mean by that ??? Every File Manager copy files and set permissions. I use Total Commander but there are several out there.

Yes that is exactly what my titanium says but it doesn't appear in the app drawer...I just mean that it s the only app that I set permissions after copy, reboot and it doesn't appear...I just wanted to make sure this is the correct app...now with your photo and help I.m sure...I ll try some more stuff...titanium for now is stuck on restoring when I try restore for this app...of course result stays the same when I do it manually...I ll try a flash file tomorrow...

I suggest 2 options:
1) Copy using file manager
1.a) Install Total Commander
1.b) With TC, extract from your ROM zip the SecMMSxxx.apk file to sdcard
1.c) With TC, check if there is one /system/priv-app/SecMMSxxx/SecMMSxxx.apk there ... if so, delete it.
1.d) With TC, copy SecMMSxxx.apk you extracted to /system/priv-app/SecMMSxxx/SecMMSxxx.apk
1.e) With TC, call Properties of the APK and set permissions accordingly
1.f) Reboot
2) Flash using Recovery.
2.a) Extract SecMMSxxx.apk from your ROM
2.b) Upload it somewhere
2.c) Gimme the link and I will cook a flashable ZIP that will overwrite and set permissions
2.d) Be xtremely happy
