I have a samsung note 10.1 with google chrome installed and need to turn off the pop up blocker in order to download some software. I have followed several forums and I can't seem to find the advanced tab. :crying:Advice please?:fingers-crossed:

I've recently bought a few books on the Market on my Galaxy Nexus. They work there no problem.
On my Tab 10.1 (Google I/O version) when I tap on a book to open it says "A problem occurred while trying to read this book"
Any solution?
Hi all,
Anyone else having issues getting Samsung Remote and the Smart View app on?
Searching it via the phone does not result in anything (tried both Samsung app and Google Play).
I can find it on Google Play via the webpage but it says not compatible with i9300 (S3).

Its not available for the S3 yet. I extracted the apk from the S2. Tested working. Even the multi-screen. PM me if you need a copy.

Check the net (also XDAs) for the Version 3.1.7, it works on S3, with Dual-View Option.

Allshare play is the new app i guess.
register your S3 there, then go from your pc to www.allshareplay.com to register your pc. don't use chrome, it's not compatible for some reason, i had to use... IE... yeah
you should now be able to stream between devices
I am havign the Same issue.
I have a Galaxy Tab 7 (original) Galaxy S1 phone, Samasung TV and ReadyNas Media Server. All of them work fine with AllShare apart from the Samsung Galaxy S3 which is as bought no alterations.
A little tut
Hey out there I finally got the allshare play to work after spending most of 2 days pulling my hair I called Samsung
We've got the new Samsung Galaxy S3 (SGS3) so we've tested it on 2 seperate units. Maybe it also works on other models.
I order for allshare to work proberly you need to assure that your pc or SGS3 isnt running any background internet application like downloading torrents, updating Win or other bandwith stuff..
So if you follow theese steps it should work (it worked for me and my wife)
1: Take your SGS3 and goto settings -> programmanager -> press the ALL tab
Now go in to all that have allshare in it. Like "Allshare controller", "Allshare play"... Anything with "allshare" in front press it and then press clear data and/or clear cache.
2. Take your SGS3 and goto settings -> accounts and syncronising -> press the one with your samsung account and press remove account
3. Goto "Allshareplay.com" (on your pc) and log in. Press settings (top right) -> press Registered devices (top left). Remove ALL your registrered devices. LOG OFF and LOG IN again. Goto Registered devices once more and register your pc FIRST!!!!
4. Take your SGS3 and run allshare play. Log in. Register your SGS3 and voila your allshare works :good:
I tried the above but still can't get it work.
I log in on my S3, and I can see registered storage (Dropbox), and 1 registered device (my PC) but shouldn't I also see my mobile phone as a registered device?
Instead, all I have is a constantly spinning circle like it's trying to do something.... ??

use internet explorer to register your computer AFTER following the post above yours. it will work then you can register phone and use chrome again if that is what you use regularly. worked for me no problem,
I have an Alcatel Spop
Pretty new to Android.
Downloaded a book on Google Play Books.
Started to read it OK.
Decided having it read to me would be nice.
So enable talkback in the OS settings.
Problem is everything talks back, even notifications as they come in.
So I turned it off.
Can it be enabled on a single app ??
Thanks
Jim
OK, this only took me all night to solve, and since I couldn't find anything in all of the Samsung and other Android help forums, I thought I'd put this here, just in case it might help someone else.
Just got a refurb Samsung Gear S, which I like quite a lot. Have a Samsung Galaxy 3 phone, so I figured I was set. I downloaded Samsung Gear Manager App from the Play Store. It recognized my Gear S, set up the preinstalled apps, and I thought all was good. Tried to download the tizen endomoto running app through the Gear S, and it says I have to do it through the Samsung Gear Manager.
Fine, go open it up, and touch the "download galaxy apps" button, and it flashes, and does nothing. I can update the smart watch software, communicate to the phone, etc - but the "download" button just flashes at me. Tried everything - reset the Gear S, re-paired, nada. Set the Galaxy 3 back to factory settings, reinstalled Samsung Gear Manager, same problem.
Turns out you have to install the Samsung Galaxy App store. You'd think this would happen automatically on a Samsung phone, but no. And of course, if you go to the Google Play Store, there is no Samsung Galaxy App store to install (except in Spanish, go figure). Since I don't read enough spanish to understand that this would work, I uninstalled it. But Samsung does put out apk's to install the Samsung Galaxy App store in English. You just have to find them. In this case, they are here:
Well, ****, XDA won't let me put in a URL because I'm a newbie. So do a Google search on "install samsung app store apk" and the top hit should be to apkmirror.com. You'll find it there.
Installed this (which also installs Samsung push and a few other things), and tada! you can donwload through the Samsung Gear Manager.
That was 12 hours of my life I won't get back - I hope this save you all some of yours.
BTW, really like the watch.
