When the phone is off and i'm charging my phone, the screen's backlight stays on and it takes longer to charge. Is this normal, is there a fix? Thanks.
Normal. No fix that I know of.

Is anyone else getting a slight delay when pressing the power button when the device is off? It's not hugely noticeable but slightly annoying!
I'm having the same issue

I have had this problem to, but when the phone us charging there is no delay.

Probably because it's trying to conserve energy and goes into a lower power state than when it's plugged in
Doesn't bother me at all

This has been rectified in the latest firmware update.
I have the last update. And the problem started on ke2

... and that is the reverse for me.
Im running XWKE2 and am seeing this...
Whenever the charger is connected and im scrolling down settings it shakes (not the phone itself) and example holding a widget. It shakes.
Somebody else?

Holding down a widget or icon is normal for it to vibrate slightly-wish I could turn it off sometimes! Not sure about charging unless you have it set to-I think that one is actually set by haptic feedback?

Only when charging Simple: shakes when scrolling

It's the interference with the touchscreen try to use a computer to charge.

Are you using stock charger?

I have the exact same problem. For me it is most obvious when trying to zoom in internet window, shakes as hell. But as you mentioned, only when charger is connected.
I am not sure but this might have started happen when receiving the last android 4.0.4 update from samsung last week.
Very recently, my phone has become very unresponsive when it comes to scrolling. Sometimes it wouldn't scroll at all. Anyone else have a problem with this?

Mine will do that when connected to charger.

Same here, the whole responsiveness of the touchscreen becomes super laggy when connected to a charger, but when unplugged everything is smooth!
Mine is the exact opposite but I would charge it overnight and only have 42% battery in the morning

Please ask all questions in the Q&A section. Thread moved there.
Is there a way to get rid of it? Every time I charge with the phone turned off, that stupid screen stays on all the time, causing the phone to over heat and not charge at all. I have to cool it down for a good 10-15 minutes before it can start charging again. Any suggestions?

Don't charge it while it's off, it's a problem for everyone with an unlocked bootloader I believe.

Does it actually hurt the phone or battery? Just out of curiousity . I didn't read it in the forums.

The phone overheats (like the surface of the sun) and it actually drains the battery instead of charging it. You have to cool the phone down before it can normally charge again. Even if its plugged in, my battery still went from 7 to 5 to 3 until I cooled the phone down

I just noticed that lol. I had a couple times where it showed it. But I was able to reboot to recovery and restart without it heating. But 30 minutes ago I let it sit for 15minutes and it did get hot, much like oc and benchmarking.

Hi. I want to not allow anyone from being able to turn off my phone, put it in airplane mode, or change the ringer settings because if someone turns it off, then Cerberus won't be able to track it. My phone is rooted (I know, I'm a badass) so if there is any tweak or any options that I could change, that would be great! Thanks in advance.

Sadly there's no way to prevent anyone from pulling the battery...
They can just pull the battery you're SOL.
