[Q] recovery - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

please help me, i'm newbee for rooting my lovely xperia mini, but i can't enter my xperia to recovery mode:crying:...

thank you:good::good::good::good::good:

Like I told you a few times now, there's no recovery mode
Install the recovery via xparts from the playstore or unlock your bootloader and flash a custom kernel. Or you just check out my guides for rooting your device, as you don't need the recovery to root

[Q] A rooted Mini pro cannot install custom kernel

hi all, I am a beginner in android.
I was trying to flash a custom kernel and rom for my Mini pro by following the tutorial thread. I rooted my Mini pro and unlock the bootloader. Busybox and cwm-auto installer were also installed.
However, when I tried to install kernel by fastboot and result said the device is not rooted. I tried again with flashtool but result was just the same. I had already rooted my device several times and therefore I dont understand where the problem is.
Please help. Thanks for your answers first:victory:
Did you place your phone in fastboot mode(blue LED)?
Which way did you unlock your bootloader?
Rooting can't affect the kernel installation at all. Doesn't matter if you are rooted or not, it should work anyways.
For use flashtools to update kernel you must open your boot loader and flash it easy, kernel update no need to root your device. Because you try update in fastboot or flash mood .
I think your problem is other things example boot loader not opened or ...

[Q] XPeria Ray CWM or ANY Recovery?

Hello!
I own a XPeria Ray now and already managed to Root and unlock Bootloader.
I installed X-Parts from Google play.
I entered Recovery and did clean Data/Cache/System. I installed OptiMax 3.0 Rom.
But now my Recovery is gone?!?
In XParts it says its only in System, so it sure is gone. But how can I get a permanent Recovery like on my old HTC Evo3D?
I need some Security if Flashing goes wrong.
Please Help!!
And I'm Sorry, i did search in the Forums but couldn't find a Solution for this.

Flash any custom kernel for Ray in your development forum. The custom kernel has cwm integrated in the ramdisk (permanent), and will not be removed unless you flash a new kernel. Download the kernel, and flash it either with Flashtool ot fastboot -i 0x0fce flash boot boot.img
Try flykernel for stock ics. It is very good.:victory:

For locked bootloader you must install cwm again when you do a full wipe.
If you want permanent recovery, then unlock your bootloader and flash a custom kernel.

He has already specified that he unlocked the bootloader...
Try installing a custom kernel
Because the CWM (which is installed with xParts on unlocked bootloader) is not in the kernel so if something happens to your System partition, CWM will be gone.
You can install it by unlocking your bootloader and flashing a custom kernel such as mesa. MESA 3.3 will give you dual recoveries (CWM & TWRP).

D6502 Recovery Help

Hi all,
i have a d6502 (xperia z2) and i wanted to install custom ROMs i was on 5.1.1 updated via ota first i downgraded to 5.0.2 to root and install recovery i used kingroot for rooting and root checker to verify then i installed XZR recovery app on my phone to install the recovery, the app installed the recoveries successfully when i boot into recovery (TWRP or Philz touch) and try to install a custom rom i get an error says this rom is for D6502.. and your device is leo(Z3) so the recovery says my device is Z3 but its Z2 D6502 how is that possible.
After that i tries to root an kitkat and try so i flashed KITKAT 4.4.2 stock and root via root kit on windows and the root worked then i tried to install XZ dual recovery via my PC so i pluged in my z2 and installed the recoveries reboot into recovery and tried to install the same custom rom i tried on lollipop this time it says my device is Z1 how is this happening please help any advises are welcome.
Thanks and sorry for my bad english
