OK I maybe a dumbass but has anyone else had issues with trying to make the new hangouts app make a connection. I have a g+account and I set up my wife a g+ account and we are in the same circles so in theory it would work but it doesn't and I no longer have any ideas. Is this issue just Germain time cause I am a dumbass or is this actually an issue...........

Did your phone number get confirmed? I couldn't get it to work until it was confirmed.
Yup both mine and my wife are confirmed

How?
It comes like that out of box. Just say OK google from the home screen

Ah it's from the search widget. There is a way to hack svoice always listening so it launches Google now when screen is off

Yeah that's with the exposed module

Kinda creepy if you sit down and think about the 'always listening'

I can't get s-voice to recognize my start command. Screen on, off, nada. Does yours work?

I saw that out of the box, but when I switched launchers and put the search widget back on it seems you lose the hotword detection. Can anyone confirm? I'm guessing they built it into TW ala GEL

Same here, just got the phone today and I cannot get it to work at all. I really want it to work so I can use the ok google hack
Data Manager pop up after calls and text pops up in my notifications for a split second at the end of my calls and text. Anyone know why and how to stop it?

From my Google search, the data manager app keeps track of data, calls, and texts. That flash of a icon is probably just the app keeping tally.

Yes I see it as well. I was curious myself before I even saw the thread so I looked it up.

Good I can live with it if it's normal. I thought it may have been a hiccup in the ruu or something I did.

I have noticed this from day one of having the device! And its only a quick little blip every time I sent a SMS or something. I can live with it too although its kinda strange...wouldn't mind if it got fixed in a patch!
