I was really wanting one in white carbon fiber, but I'm open to suggestions. I've considered the Baseus(sp?) door, but not crazy about the silver stripes near the top and bottom. Haven't seen any pics other than Amazon though, so I might actually like it. If anyone has one in white, please post some pics of it. From what I've seen on Amazon, reviews are saying that most of the white carbon fiber doors are about twice as thick as the Samsung door, and won't fit in cases.
So, who all has an aftermarket battery door? Some recommendations and pics would be greatly appreciated!

All the "carbon" back plates are nothing more than textured plastic. There are no carbon fiber replacement covers. I don't think it's possible to mold carbon fiber into something as intricate as a battery cover. There are however bulky cases with carbon accent. I'd love to buy a real carbon battery cover too. There just aren't that many good looking battery covers available. I haven't found anything that looks better than the stock cover. I had the same problem with my S3.

Fat fingers... Facepalm.
It's not much thicker than stock but I like it.
Seems to be slightly more "grippy" than stock back. Definitely thicker though but has not caused any problems with cases for me.

I surely will.
And I do believe these are thinner or the same thickness as the oem ones.
The ones that are glossy look thicker but this look thin.

I got the Mario in.
It's the same thickness as the oem. It feels different tho but it has textures.
My girl is using it and added it to her bumper case she likes it alot.

These are the oem cover from samsung, not sure if this is the blue you are looking for, the link in gmarket gives a bettery look at the colour.

In my opinion, the Sprint battery door looks better than ALL of the others, even the standard Samsung battery door! I wish it there were more of the Sprint battery doors available for sell. I've seen them on eBay before, but they're priced much higher than the standard door, and every other carrier's doors.

Ebay only has the metal backs which I don't want and it's not the same.
I can find some good red and green ones just not blue.
It's normally a light blue easter looking colors. But nothing dark blue tho.

My white cover has the word samsung in gold, i have the rose gold white phone, its the default cover that came with the phone.

Samsung hong kong has a metalic blue, very similar to your photo, this is the official one im talking about, not a fake one.
Ive tried it on my phone, rose gold rim with metalic blue gives my phone a cyber look.

If you are only looking for the battery door, this will work on a Sprint EVO 3D. You are paying for the entire assembly but if its the battery door you are looking for and don't mind paying the extra cost, then this will work with any EVO 3D.

Your battery doors ever arrive? If so, can you post pics and tell us where you got the all black door? Also, what carrier has an all black battery door? I have only seen black and red, other than the purple posted above; which I also have no clue which carrier offers the purple...

The link added here with the purple one. If you are only looking to change your battery door, you can buy that one from Amazon and only use the battery door. You will be paying over $80 but you WILL have a NEW battery door cover that is a different color than the stock red one. I wish I can find just the battery door for the GSM EURO EVO 3D with the gold trim but without the Rogers logo. Only the EURO GSM one has that. Has anyone been able to find that anywhere without getting the entire replacement..?

Yep. I got them. The "all black" one is actually the purple one. The gold one doesn't have "Rogers" on it. I had to remove a little rubber sticker on the inside of the gold one, but both of these fit our CDMA phones like stock
I'll probably sell them both for what I paid for them, and pick up an OEM one to paint all black. PM me if you're interested in the gold or purple ones. Pics below.

Purple
I had just bought the speck case for my note and really loved the case except that it was totally smooth plastic on the back and sides (Hard to hold with one hand}. And for those of you who have never dealt with the no rubber smooth back it gets really slippery especially if your hands are wet or oily. I was thinking about putting some sort of grip tape on the back to make up for the lack of rubber and i came across this gem http://geckostrips.com/shop#ecwid:category=426719&mode=category&offset=0&sort=normal There is a video review on it and it looks bad ass, seems to work great and is perfect for any application. I just ordered a 12 pc universal, as soon as i put it on ill post some pics . it was $18 with shipping.
Update- just put the stickers on and they feel great and they don't add bulk to the case. great solution if you love a case that doesn't have rubber on it. very grippy .

I got some of these strips 3 days ago and they arrived today too. I have a flip case with a smooth plastic back. Better grip than a naked phone, but it will still slip off of tables, counters, benches. I read several sad tales of new notes already falling off of surfaces cause they slipped. Laugh all you want at the "duct tape" look, but safer is better than sorrier.
I am all about getting value for your money, so I went under clearance section for bargains. I got a clear iphone set for $4.00, an autism ribbon for $2, and a grab bag of 10 stickers for $5. These are advertising overruns with black, white, and red backgrounds. They were OOS on my pink breast cancer ribbon. So for a grand total of $11 I can put the clear iphone set on my naked note. I used the corners on the back of the note instead of the front where they have them on the instructions. It just gives your fingers something to grip while holding the phone to your ear. I have the autism ribbon in the center of the back and a general black one across the samsung logo. It feels good in the hand, and it will not slip off a table. And it is aesthetically pleasing. When I get ambitious I will cut the large iphone section into strips for the sides.
These stickers are so thin it slips right into my case. Now this is not too pretty on the back. I have advertising stickers on the back of the case- 3 down the center and one cut into 3 pieces to cover the 3 corners- leaving the speaker corner bare. This phone is not going anywhere in the case or out of it. Best $16 i spent- ($5 for shipping- that kills me, but it did arrive in 3 days- their cheapest method).
I have enough left over for the wallet case coming from hong kong.
They will keep your phone on the dash of your car, or on the seat next to you.

How long did they last on average for you? They remove easily enough if there is a small amount of texture to the surface. The back of my case can be repositioned easily.
Usually a month or 2 before they started to peel off. Depends on the use though.

I just ordered and recieved mine. I bought 2, 5piece kits in black for. 98/ea off ebay. I used all 10 pieces. They are the eGrips brand and it seems as though they haven't changed in the last 6 years since I've used them last. They are great for anything that requires grip. I'm using a cheap $5 snap on case thats smooth so these help. I'll post pics in a few. Maybe I can get the name of the seller too to help others who may need them and are NOT looking to spend a fortune....

I think in jeans it would be too sticky but for my uniform pants, its fine. The front is still slick but this way allows me to grab it from behind and slide it on out.... The phone that is... ;-)

That's my theory right now. The only thing I have bought so far are NFC tags but they should work on any NFC enabled phone.
I'm also curious if there is a truly clear tpu case (or otherwise).
Not translucent white, smoke, etc. A truly colorless clear case.
So far all I have is a skinomi shield which protects against scratches but not impact.

I'm guessing that the one I bought on Ebay is as clear as they can get, for TPU. I can read through it,so it's fairly clear.

Yeah, I'm looking for one that is colorless and clear. So if I were to put it over a black phone, it would still appear to be black.
I would consider the one in your link to be translucent white. To me, a clear case allows whatever color is below it to show through transparently.
I guess they can't make TPU transparently clear.
I have a clear case for the 3vo and after a while of use it turns brownish clear and looks awful but with the fact that they are cheap I guess $5 for a few months of coolness wouldn't be to bad. just don't expect it to stay clear clear forever

That's a good point. I hate seeing that yellowish plastic. I think I'm going to go with one of the tpu-cases.com now. They look pretty good.

I ordered that same case... Not impressed. The inside is frosted causing it to not be clear. I'm also waiting on a perfectly clear tpu, which they CAN make....I had one for the the EVO 4G...
I want one soooo bad, I need to show this work off....

The last one i have it on White and Red didn't like it very dificult to take the Spen out of the Note..is hard case first and the silicon part...
i have a TPU and a Zenon Capsule on mi Note post pics in a little while..

Thanks! S-pen wouldnt be an issue for me. I don't use it. I used the box wave case white and clear but couldn't use my volume buttons with it.

How about something like the otter or seido active? Only you could paint the outer shell part. I'm thinking I'm going to paint mine again, this time white. I painted it the first time when I had some expensive paint mixed up and it was better then wasting it. It came out really well, plus matches one of my firearms. I think the black and white will look better together, but the coyote tan looks nice too.

that's a mighty fine 1911 ya got there how do you like that seido case? I looked at them. I was really looking into one that has a hard case with a silicon/neoprene outer case. I just like the feel.
I want the case mate pop but they don't make it I emailed case mate telling them I want it lmao

I have a safe full of em but that one is my baby. Nothing fancy and probably the cheapest of the lot, but was my first.
The case is pretty damn good. The holster broke but was replaced with proof or receipt. (Thats why I always use Google checkout). The case itself has absorbed many drops. Had the otter box been out I probably would have gone that route for better protection, but the seido gives good protection for a somewhat slim package.

I don't have a case for my phone, otherwise I'd post it.
I'm contemplating about getting a slim case though. But I have a car mount, and then a desktop dock. I know that if I got a case, these would be rendered useless.
This is true my bezel around the screen has began to break off. So I have no choice other than put a case on it. I have already broke one and would like to make this one last

I've been using this case from day one. It does the job, with little bulk and added kick stand. Quick note: the case does get dirty after use or if placed in jean pocket will turn slight tint of blue.

The description says pu leather, that's polyurethane leather, also known as "pleather". Another way to say fake leather made from a plastic material.
It might not look bad in person, and given how thin it will be it's probably more protection than real leather.
I don't really mind that most phone accessories aren't real leather, but I do wish the sellers would say "leather-look" instead of leather.

I'm sure that dBrands will make a vinyl skin that looks like carbon fiber and improves the grip. They have great reviews for all their skins on the Nexus 4 thread. No impact protection of course but excellent scuff/scratch protection, easier to grip, and good looking.

I recall someone in the forums of one of the older phones I owned, might have even been the Note 2, got some 3M type carbon fibre vinyl sticker, of sorts, and covered the stock cover with the stuff. Looked pretty sweet, not sure how well it would work on the Note 3 cover considering it has that fake stitching, but if you could find some cheap enough, it could be worth a go. What have you got to loose?

Just got mine today. Overall i'll say it's ok. The quality of the cover feels a little more plastic as compared to the original but once you snap it onto the N3, you can't really tell cos it's fits very well. The one plus point about this cover compared to the original is that it does not get any finger prints and does not feel oily. The textured surface is just right IMO. Does not feel too rough. Attached some pictures for those interested.
