Try to install SuperSU from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.supersu
If it says that your binary isn't rooted, well, try to root again using CF-Auto root: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957273

If you have custom recovery installed then just go to supersu thread and download supersu zip and flash it through recovery..

CWM would not flash Superuser from the author (http://androidsu.com/superuser/) so I fixed it up for my pleasure - and hopefully yours.
Installs Superuser 3.0.7 and su 3.0.3.2.
Flash with CWM and enjoy!
The one from http://androidsu.com/superuser/ flashed just fine for me
Hmm, must just be me then. For some reason /system was not mounting. I replaced the update-binary with a newer version and used the system mount instead of busybox. Perhaps I'm just tired from all the excitement today.
Five stars and a 'thanks' from me. Works a treat and very simple.
This should go a long way to answering a lot of the newer members' questions about rooting in the leak thread.
Thankyou
Very nice, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing.
But the official one from androidsu also flashed just fine for me as well.
All i had to do was turn off signature verification to install it but this works too so nice job.

Just flashed ICS leak.
I flashed the Odin One Click ICS leak. How do I get CWM installed, so I can flash superuser, etc and root?

You can reflash CWM just like you did before. Easiest would just be to use ODIN again for it.
busybox?
There are several versions of busybox, anyone have a recommended version to use? Thanks.
I use Sterison Busybox installer. recommend installing version 1.18.5. Recommended by many scripts/apps.

If the ROM is rooted, can't you just install Superuser from the market? I don't get it.

Now go to braway's thread with CWM and start learning how to flash via ODIN.
FYI, my SU that I got from the official site wouldn't flash until I wiped my cache and dalvik cache

Hey guys
had a problem with installing barclays bank mobile app on a rooted phone so used an app called hide my root.
After playing about and trying various things such as deleting SU and Super SU i know cannot get root working again.
Any ideas on how to restore the root access. Once this is restore i want to update to the lastest cm10 version.
Android 4.2.2
Cheers

Root is in the ROM, so if you flash the latest ROM from recovery, you'll have the binary and apk back anyway.

OK, think I must be being a little bit blind around the forum, but cannot seem to locate how and links to perform a root once I update to 4.3
I'm running 4.1.2 and am currently rooted (I used CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4 since forever and always seems to work), which seemed to work fine on 4.1.2. However, reading all over the place about rooting being different on 4.3, but as I said, just cannot seem to find links and info on how to do it on the latest
I know I can easily install the 4.3 update using ODIN to replace 4.1.2, but would then like to re-root once this has been done
Any help and links much appreciated
Cheers

i used this http://download.chainfire.eu/229/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-m0-m0xx-gti9300.zip and worked just fine
edit: i used the odin included inside the .zip and put the root file at PDA
If you have Mobile Odin, that's the easiest way. Used it to root MK6
I used CF Auto Root on the OTA update and it was fine.

Excellent .. thanks guys. Was just a little worried with all the stuff have been reading about the latest 4.3 and Knox etc, that it might not be possible to root. I understand that the knox flag is now triggered, but to me that is not a prob, as don't really worry about the warranty
I rooted my 4.3 via cf root 6.4 but flashed it via odin. Unzip go to download mod put cf root md5 into pda and hit start. Than go to custom recoveri and flash su 1.8 update from sd card. Easy

Do you have Knox in 4.3? Does rooting trip the Knox flag?
Knox isnt part of 4.3 rom for sgs3.

Did you download the right version for the S5830i? It can make a difference, try also another recovery instead and try to install the root again. :fingers-crossed: good luck!

Dear all,
I have a Qmobile noir A20. Yesterday I installed its stock rom from incpak as I didn't had CWM backup. Now the problem is that this rom is pre rooted and I don't want to have a rooted phone anymore. I tried to unroot using the option of full unroot in the super SU. The phone got unrooted but, the super SU icon is still there. What should I do.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks and sorry for my bad English.

SuperSU is still installed on your phone!!
Depends on whether it's installed in system or not
Just try to uninstall the app if is not in system then it'll get uninstalled..
