LG L9 dead/brick - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

Hello all. Sorry for my bad English. I tried to unlock the bootloader to install a new version of Android (4.3.3) using the instructions from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2221102, but could not, and now the phone is dead. Can you help me with some guidance on how to fix again?
Thanks in advance

The problem is solved. I used fastbuut. Thank you

[Q] Rooting and Gingerbread update

Hi Guys,
Another question about rooting
I'm a newbie and am thinking of rooting my LG P500. But I'm concerned that the rooting may affect the future release of Android 2.3 for this phone. Can you guys pls clarify my doubts on this? Will rooting affect the update or will the update just overwrite the rooting to install Gingerbread?
Thanks in advnace,
Karthik

[Q] Can I flash from 23c?

Hi all,
I recently rooted my OTA 23c upgrade, but now I want to take it a step further and flash another ROM. I've attempted the bump! method, but due to a locked bootloader the custom recovery mode doesn't work. I believe I have to downgrade to 10b, but I'm unsure as to how to do that. Using LG Flash Tool has been useless for me, but perhaps I'm not using it correctly?
Help is appreciated, thank you.
My reply to the other guy in General in the same post as my reply to your other question has the info you need.

XT1524 - TWRP + root : thanks for help

Hi,
I bought 2 smartphones Motorola E2 (XT1524) for my childrens.
After first use, I accept update to Marshmallow.
Now, I read all the thread of this forum but I don't understand how install new ROM (Cyanogen 13 or 14).
I think I must first install TWRP, then flash other ROM.
But, how install TWRP if the phone are now under stock Marshmallow ?
Thank you very much for your help (I'm grand father and not young geek ).
And sorry for my bad english...

No problem. I understand your English and I will try and keep this simple and to the point to assist you. Here is a link for @squid2's TWRP recovery. This is the recommended recovery for our Surnias.
You will not need to downgrade to the best of my knowledge. But you will need an unlocked bootloader.
Here is the link to @squid2's TWRP recoveries.

If your bootloader is not unlocked, let me know. I will send you a link for a guide on doing that.
Edit: Here is a link for a very simple and efficient tool for, among other things, unlocking your bootloader.

Many thanks MotoJunkie, I really appreciate your help.
No, the bootloader is not unlocked. Is this always possible to unlock it after update to Marshmallow ?

Yes my friend, to the best of my knowledge, unlocking your bootloader is the same no matter which Android version you have. You should have no problems.
Once you unlock your bootloader and flash TWRP, then I can further assist you on actually rooting your Marshmallow build.
Thanks again ! (also for the link for unlock).
I look this after work and I try it this week-end.
And I come back for say if it's OK
