I have a s740 and i use to use it all the time, well i broke my screen and got another phone. The other day i found a screen on ebay and replaced it. When i was finished i put my sim card in it and it worked for a little while, but when i restarted the phone it stopped working. The phone knows a sim card is inserted, but wont recognize centennial wireless service. Could it be that i have to unlock it again?? Please reply if you have any tips
I have an unlocked HTC hero. Didn't drop it or anything, just put it to charge.
And now it's saying there is no SIM card in it.
I've tried moving everything around, still nothing.
Turns out the SIM card died
Problem fixed.
I think the micro sim is somehow stuck inside the slot? Is there anyway to remove it? My phone reads the network fine and I dont have any problems, but I was going to swap between a blackberry and the razr and I'm having troubles removing the micro sim.
So you can push on it and it doesnt click to come out? Are the sims the same? I went from one phone to a different and they were not the same size.
Hello
My SGS3 gti9300 is not detecting my SIM card, it was fine this morning, i used my mobile data without any problem but as soon as i switched my mobile data off, my phone lost network. It tried pulling off the SIM card and putting it back in but in vain; my phone would read the SIM card, it says 'No service'. I also tried checking my IMEI number by *#06# on the dial pad, it would display 'null / null'. I do not have any other micro SIM card right now to try in my phone. My current SIM card works fine on other phones...so i guess the problem is in my phone
Besides, later when i played music on my phone, the music would stumble and at times the track changes by itself. That problem came along with the SIM card one.
My phone is not and was never rooted. It runs on Jelly Bean.
Please help me fix at least the SIM card issue :crying:
If your phone is fully stock and never rooted then return to Samsung for warranty repair.

It's look like a problem with efs. Search on forum how to recover efs files.
I tried out a new sim card with an adapter nano to regular and all was good, then swapped back to my regular sim and the phone doesn't recognise the old sim card?
I've tried factory reset didn't work
Trying recovery now
Stuck my sim card into the tablet and it works fine.
Weird thing I stuck a virgin one it works and a three network card also works but will not accept my old sim card again?
The phone was bought unlocked and sim free had it for three years only thing done under warrantee was a USB socket that snapped but HTC did fix that?
Any suggestions or is it just time for a new phone?
Thanks
Jay
