no cm9 there! official is the one from cyanogenmod.com not the ones from xda!

Anyway, for Xperia Devices, the CM is developed and maintained by a team called Free Xperia Project. Just as it happened for CM 7.1, once the projects are over, they are uploaded to the official site. CM 7.2 is yet to go through a final version, and same goes for CM 9. It will be done once all the bugs are fixed, and the software becomes exactly same as the CM created by the CM people.
Thanks,
Rick

Take this arguing to PM, this is not the place to do it.
Hi everyone!
It's know that our Xperia Sola is a ST-Ericcson device (with Novathor u8500 SoC chipset) and right now, i'm pretty sure that Sony will provide Jelly Bean for our device next year. But, we also know that there out is a device with our same chipset and Jelly Bean at launch. Yes, i'm talking about Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini. I have been talking with some users on their forum and i think some information can help us to port jelly bean to our Xperia Sola.
So, here are some files which can help us to make a working Jelly Bean Rom on our device:
1. I want to thanks nixonik member to provide a full system dump of SGSIIIMini in here System dump.
2. Jelly Bean open source code for this rom, provided by Samsung. in HERE
Today i have access to this files but tomorrow i'm going to travel outside and going to leave my pc here in home, so i can't make progress on this until january, but i'm calling to devs in here to check this files, specially open source ones (libs mostly) and see if we can port cm10 using those or if this can be ported as well.
Now that would be really great if some devs step up to initiate this...But I have one question, the s3 mini uses U84xx soc whereas we have U85xx soc...Won't that be problem?? Devs??

No, it won't. You see, in open source that I have attached here there is source code for u8xxx chipset that's mean that they are working in all novathor SoC already released by St-Ericsson

That's awesome...Maybe FXP can use those sources to develop CM10...
@OP this is a brilliant initiative. Can you contact these two members urgently?
1. FXP
2 munjeni
FXP can help with this, and if this works out, they can work on CM10 instead of CM9.1 anymore (which is pretty much stable now).
Also, munjeni just got AOSP Jelly Bean booting on his Xperia GO. He can definitely make magic for this initiative.
Maybe I should give it a try.
good news!!:good:
get all devs attention. get them under one project
This will be great if someone port this to our phones. I think FXP and munjeni must give it a try, but it will be great if they do it together.

This not really worries me, instead is okay because xperia p and go will receive jelly bean officially and we have to remember that p and go are "riogrande" devices like sola and u. When they release JB open source to xperia p and go, we can easily adapt the official rom to our sola (and u)

Now is time to show to stupid shiny Sony that in here (xda) we know how to care a really good device. All devs, use this files to blow JB on the face of Sony!!!

Floating touch in ics was great as glove mode but I don't think it would be much of use.....
So its would be OK if we don't get floating touch in JB (my opinion )......

I see AOSP beyond crap features like floating touch, xloud, or bravia engine
If I am not wrong JB for this device is a distant dream until our beloved developers like FXP, Munjeni, kerian & championswimmer see a possible port feasibility as suggested in OP
Until wait for Sony's release of JB for similar hardware device
Thanks to all who are owning this device and keeping hope alive.
Nice initiative

Wrong section, this belongs to the Q&A, or search, there are quite a few threads like this. The best rom is what you decide yourself, if you like good music experience & stock, use Fidelity VX. CM9 for AOSP and smoothness. Vision v4 for some cool features.
Best ROM threads are not allowed.
Thread closed.
So, I have an Xperia P With the ROM: CyanogenMod Nightly 10.2 @ Jelly Bean [4.3.1] and ClockWorkMod [6.0.4.4]
