Sorry, i don't really get it yet... Does it run entirely on android? If so, how does it differ from launchers? And can it run on other linux kernel, specifically a x64 one? I would like to have a touch-friendly linux on my tablet which i could dual-boot with windows 8.1 (x64 version, not RT) without using any virtualizing, emulating, or buggy workarounds like android-x86...

Can you suggest me a WM or a DE suitable for touch? I have tried kde active, but it launched into the regular kde
That's here and it's called Ubuntu Desktop Next. Basically the Ubuntu desktop with the phone and tablet UI.

Hi,
it's possibile to install Windows 8, with vmware or something like this, on note 2? or we can only use the infrastrutture client server, of vwmare client for android? Because i need to intall it, in local, for work...
Thanks in advance.
That's an ambitious wish, but the Note 2 has no x68 architecture, so no...
Windows 8 on Arm won't help either, without some serious porting efforts an besides that: you' d need the specific Arm arcitecture Vmware client too...
You can however use web-based clients to control hypervisors. There are many, not only Vmware...

No. Not possible. Windows 8 is x86 architecture. You will never be able to run it on ARM.
WinRT or WP8 may be possible, but extremely unlikely.
All you'll really be able to do is use an RDP client to connect to a real Windows 8 machine.
I second the RDP method: I use it myself (Remote Desktop Client, Xtralogic) and on the Note 2 with all that screen real estate, it's a breeze...
Combine it with a VPN (either builtin or download OpenVPN) and you are ready to go anywhere with it.

For that you need a dock to which peripherals can be connected.
And when that is installed, nothing in Android is different. Its like running Cm9/10. But when you connect it to a monitor via a dock, you get a full Ubuntu desktop on that monitor.

Mozilla's engineering efforts are probably too focused on their own phone OS at the moment to consider porting their browser to others.

Qml qt firefox
As I am aware of Mozilla already has a coded app for Firefox Meego
which has the same luanguge although not built in ubuntus sdk it does run in qt qml.
I can be simply ported in a matter of weeks but I doubt
Cannonical will do so for ubuntu touch and mozilla is focused on other more established.platforms ill ask around gplus and nokia forums maybe we can have community members help to port it
Why

when i type apt-get install firefox he install firefox but don't have any app and i didn't edit sources.list
Just wondering, is the current Ubuntu Touch supporting a full desktop when connected to a monitor like through an HDMI?
I saw videos from Ubuntu on this feature and wanted to know if it working?

It's not working yet. Canonical has proven that the concept can work by its Ubuntu for Android project. After the release of version 14.04 two weeks ago, they will start work on bringing Unity 8 (the desktop environment, current desktop version is 7 while the phone version is already Unity 8) and the Mir display server to the desktop. Afterwards, it should theoretically be possible to do that stuff. Additionally, they will continue to improve their SDK for the development of Ubuntu apps which already work on all platforms (phone, tablet and desktop) and adjust to screen size.
The whole concept is what they call Convergence.

Some of their ideas for convergence are quite awesome. The recent news has been that they have stopped the Ubuntu for Android project. I have been wondering since where their views on complete integration, their "one device to rule the all" direction, is heading.

It's great on both PC and mobile. However, on mobile it still has a long way to go until it reaches the state when it can be used by the average end-user. Keep in mind that it's making progress very fast though.

Dude, this is an Android device running an ARM processor. Even if would run with a x32 or x64 processor, there aren't such apps for this...
Get a Windows machine for that
