I was using the stock Rom on my phone when I enabled navigation bar using gravity box and rebooted and it never got ahead of the canvas Magnus boot animation ...I had been through this and I used to backup the Rom and then restore it... And it would get the job done .. But it didn't ... I tried just flashing Rom without data and everything... I even installed mini Rom which was on my phone but even it got bootloop...so I transferred the galaxy s4 Rom and thankfully it worked... Now should I try 'restoring the backup once more?? Please tell me what was the problem.. Thanks :good::good:
Bro if u want to install stock rom then install official rom link given on XDA and root official rom do not restore ur old backup ur backup is also damaged so again nd again you'll get boot loop

I'm new to this rom development thing and using one of the guides I started but using cwm and rom manager i backed up my rom but I got two folders 'backup' and 'blobs' and I'm unable to find 'META-INF' folder inside...btw is this the stock rom of a88? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2285685

hi, the page u gave is the stock rom
u can flash it using SP flasher....its easy...just download the rom and the flasher...u can flash it ,with it.

Need help
I have rooted micromax a88 i don't know how but my gallery app stoped working camera still works . I also tried factory reset. Can someone provide me backup of just stock gallery app that might be helpful for restoring.

My phone won't boot up it's just vibrating after the boot animation logo with black screen but I can access the stock recovery and have charging battery sign so I think it's soft brick.
What seems the cause of brick:
I accidentally bricked my phone using root cleaner app and full cleaning option.
What are the solutions have you tried:
I tried factory resetting in stock recovery but It's not working.
Additional Information:
Our local phone doesn't have CWM and Custom/Stock Rom yet but it's rooted. CM Omega Icon has same spec with Micromax A121 Canvas Elanza 2 you could say that's the OEM of our phone. But unfortunately they do not have CWM and Custom/Stock Rom also.
I am asking for your help. If anyone knows how to revive this phone please let me know.. Thank you

is it safe to use vroot to root omega icon? i do have omega icon...

Hello experts, i think its softbrick, i m using intex aqua i5 mini (i know its chinese) and i have changed bootanimation,and when i rebooted my device, the animation appeard bt i m not able to use my device. It stuck on sony erricson logo. Now plz tell me what can i do, 
My device is rooted, and i m on stock ROM. And phone is still in warranty.
I m able to get into recovery menu,but cant flash any update.zip file, bcoze my phone dosent have custom recovery, and whenever i tried to flash aroma file manager an error appear "installation aborted"

You'll have to factory reset using some leaked stock ROM for your phone off the internet. Data will be erased in the process. If you can still access your file system back up the stuff you don't want to lose. Go to this link http://androidxda.com/download-intex-stock-rom-models and find your phone model. Click the download button for it to get your stock ROM, then click the blue instructions hyperlink to read how to flash it. This will put your phone back to factory settings. Just an important thing to note, I have never tried those stock ROMS or the flash tool in the instructions so do this at your own risk.

HOLD THE FACTORY RESET IDEA. I have found something that might help you restore your Nandroid backup. Unfortunately it involves using command prompt. This guide explains pretty clearly what to type and everything. If there is any part of this guide you don't understand, post a reply or send a message. http://www.modaco.com/topic/299479-howto-performing-a-nandroid-restore-manually-using-adb/. My phone is Micromax a120 8 gb internal with kitkat 4.4.2 ..i rooted my phone with King root ..and want to use xposed installer and when i hit update xposed firmware it give me popup warning about bootloop and softbrick ..i already softbricked my phone once and dont want happning again ..i don't have cwm recovery in phone ...
