So I am heading out on vacation next week and really needed a super smooth as silk ROM that is stable and has superior battery life with everything working perfectly.
This is by far not in the same league feature wise as a "Warm" ROM but this will inherently end up becoming the base for the next Warm ROM. A few folks on IRC wanted to try it so I thought I'd share with everyone.

Thanks already given! Derek, do we need to flash the updated firmware (which people are saying is irreversible) in order to run your ICS? Thanks.
Btw, been with you since Warm on the original Touch!
thanxs myn
always best roms
Oh yeahs! You just created a dilemma for me. Got Deck's up and running and everything configured, and now this.
As my favorite Dev/team, you know I'm gonna have to flash it.

Can some one port or attach the ics keyboard and dialer? Or no where I can flash it?

how about the people who did flash the firmware?
Sweet just downloaded this and noticed it doesn't include tweaks. Is it possible to flash the new tweaks over this or does it have to be odex? And if so how would I go about odexing that so I could put it with this??

Hi
After flashing cyanogen 10 on my s3, Ive noticed the notification bar has changed. there is no brightness slider and the toggle are gone. Ive put custom toggles but i want to have my old ones back again. How can i do this? can you please post a link to where i can find them.
thank you.
Hi I know it's a silly question and is probably something obvious I've overlooked, but I can't find how to change the status bar on the wanamalite rom. I wanted to add the hotspot toggle but I can't find a menu which allows you to move the toggles or add/remove them someone please help!

Which rom??? (There are loads based on the leaked rom).
Have you searched roms thread??
In future do not create help topics unless you are prepared to give the most basic/relevant info like which rom your actually using.
Also, do you need this notification? Just go into your settings and set keyboard there.

If you do not want to help fine, but just do not write irrelevant comments

Lashing out won't really help you in these forums, most people aren't very forgiving and for the most part, most things can be found through a search.
I know for ICS there has always been the option to choose whether or not to show the Keyboard switching icon in the status bar. Its in the settings of the Keyboard and language input.
I'm on Biftor's JB right now and I have the icon in my status bar, but I don't have the option to choose the keyboard notification in my settings though so I can't really point you in the right direction. But with the keyboard in that rom, it allows you to swipe the spacebar to switch languages so the notification isn't necessary either. Maybe you could try installing a separate JB keyboard or the 4.2 Keyboards which are floating around in the S2 Themes and Apps forum. I've installed them before and remembering that they should have the option in the settings

By the way...
I did a search for keyboard in Omega's rom thread and this came up in the release notes...you might want to consider changing roms.

Hello. After upgrading from Beans v22, I have questions about config options in AllianceRom, but I'm not able to post in those threads.
1 - The text, numbers and symbols (such as battery icon) in the status bar are a little bit dim for me and I'd like to make 'em easier to read. In Statusbar Options I downloaded a plain black image and set that to background. I don't see a setting in that section for changing the font. It's currently grayish. I guess I'd like to make it bright white to improve contrast. I can't see any effect from playing with the alpha slider in Statusbar Options.
2- Related to the above, I used that same plain black image to background the notification panel to block out the underlying pages and text. (Btw, I wish both the statusbar and notifications panel options included a colorpicker rather than only image-based wallpaper)).
Like the Statusbar section, I admit I can't tell what effect the wallpaper alpha slider is having.
What I'd like to be able to do with the Notification panel is get it more Beans 22-like so it's a one-step process to get to the toggles. In Beans they were waiting for use as soon as I slid down the panel. Default setup in v.24 is a two step process: lower the panel, and then press the icon to display the toggles.
3- Speaking of the toggles, could you point me to the settings area where I can remove/change the toggle choices? I'd like to slim it down to about 10 things I'd use most often.
4- While I'm mentioning toggles, I noticed that longpressing the WiFi Hotspot toggle takes me to the USB/BT Tether screen rather than the Mobile Hotspot config/allowed devices screen. Is there somewhere I can change what happens on a longpress? (Wow I'm a pain in the butt.)
5- Dropbox. I love Dropbox the service, but not the official Dropbox app. I prefer to access it from the cloud section of ES Explorer because I can browse without syncing and just pull over the files I want. In Alliance I don't seem to be able to uninstall the Dropbox app. Rather than freeze/turn off, I'd just as soon dump it. Is that possible?
Thanks so much!
ping!
