I. have a problem with the keyboard of my 760. See the attachment. How can I solve that?
It's the default keyboard of LG.
The phone is upgraded to 4.1.2. Any help would be appreciatedl
instal a.i.type keyboard .
You can change that in setting of keyboard. It names 'one hand typing' or similar.
Yes, my daughter changed that. In my panic I could not see that option!

Sadly I cannot post in the development area. Because of this I have to ask my question in this area.
I have installed the ROM mentioned in the title. The hardware keyboard is "QWERTY". As I am from Germany I would prefer "QWERTZ" layout. Is there a possibility to change it?

Maybe you did not understand my question. The keyboard is "QWERTZ", but when I press the "z" it prints a "y", et vice versa.

I tried all options. But there is no option for the keyboard layout of hw keyboard in ics. Do I miss something? Or is there an .apk to install?

That's the ICS problem.
It is ported from Ray or Arc or Neo V, neither of these has physical keyboard, so no settings also for changing that. Needs to be edited by developers themselves.

Hey guys i have this weird bug, im on Xperia X10 Mini Pro, with Mini Cm9.
And i talk to my girlfriend on aol (the official messaging app) and everytime i type something with the physical keyboard it dupplicates each letter like TTHHIISS.
Is there a fix for something like this? Please if you can help me and my girl would be very appreciated Thank You.

Anyone know a 3x4 portrait keyboard the same or similar as stock S3 4.1.1 with ability to add own words to install because Samsung f***ed up again with 4.1.2 and I just don't like portrait qwerty keyboards.
Are you asking for a T9 Keyboard?
Look up "T9 keyboard android" and try out some that look good?
As for the custom words, you can add them manually into the personal dictionary or use an app which keeps it's own custom dictionary.
Might I suggest to try out SwiftKey. I am pretty sure it does not support a T9 layout, but the QWERTY keyboard by them is amazing, and the word prediction after using it for a few weeks is just incomparable to other keyboards.
Yeah it's just the T9 3x4 numeric portrait pad I'm looking for, and I've tried loads from the market but just can't find any that work the same as a normal numeric pad, and I've tried qwerty portrait pads but just find them awkward and slow. And this is such a major problem for me I'm gonna have to downgrade to 4.1.1 if I can't find an answer.
Well in that case you just need the 4.1.1 Keyboard APK. I do not have enough knowledge to help you with this. But there is a thread here about it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1952804
You can look around on google for "android 4.1.1 keyboard apk" and hopefully find something that will help you.
I really hope you can get it working with your current ROM so that you do not need to downgrade.
Wish it was that simple mate... But it doesn't work like normal keyboard IMEs because it's a system integrated App, and they changed the keypad on 4.1.2 so much that nothing from 4.1.1 will work without major mods.

Hi,
Is there any way to add new words automatically to the 4.2.2 keyboard dictionary?
It's really annoying to agree three times and then the keyboard closes in some apps.
SwiftKey adds them as you write them down without Flow/Swype for one time.
However I didn't stay by SwiftKey because I love the stock keyboard too much.
Anyone got a modification? I would be ok with an "one-click-add" as well.

i really like the samsung keyboard. but does anybody knows how can i add that top number row to it.

you can try touchpal or swiftkey keyboards. they are simple apps so you dont have to flash anything.
