I'm looking for an app or combination of apps where I can find a link to a movie online, stream it on my phone then using air play push it onto my tv. They only released the sony screen mirroring app to a couple of sony xperia phones so I cant use that. I dont want to have to download the movie first either.
If anyone can help out or list some apps that might take care of this I will be very grateful.

I have the sony s tablet, I want to push movies to my Sony Bluray player but my tablet can't find it. My PC finds the bluray ok.

You have to be connected to the same network. Have you checked that?
If you are connected, then try to go music player, long press any song and options will appear, choose "throw", it'll search for device and should find your blu-ray player or TV

Does your google Tv support DLNA?
And which brand is your Blu-Ray or model?
I know silly question but it usually detects the devices immediately

I have the same problem:
the tablet keeps telling that no player has been found when trying to throw songs or pictures to my bravia kdl-40cx520 (ethernet connected). Does the tv need the wifi dongle to be scanned by the tablet? or dlna is independent and a complete different thing?

Hello there, I've updated my phone to the latest firmware LG8, however there's an annoying issue. Before when I played a video in the player, there was an icon to play to the tv, when I pressed it showed a list of available devices to play to, so I just chose my tv .
Now if I press it, it automatically plays to my tv, it's annoying when my fingers accidently hits it.
Any idea how to fix this?

Hi all.
I am looking for a video editing app that has the ability to merge videos together that i make with my note 2.
I dont care about the effects and all the other stuff they are suppose to do but i do care about the speed of the merging process i would like it to be as fast as possible.
It would be nice if i could get my hands on the Samsung video editor apps for sgs2 and note 2 or sgs3.
I hope any of you can help me.
Ps. plz don't refer me to google play store as i have tried most of them and don't like them as many of them are slow and wants me to upload the videos

Androvid pro is one Amazing app.
Theres an app on the play store called movie aid..
I know you dont want play store apps but I use this for uploading/merging videos adding my own sound track with transistions/text on screen etc etc.

I just use samsung video editor - great app. You could find it on xda or samsung progs. I'm on holiday only with note2 so i dont have link but if you search for that app you find it. On xda is version 3.52 if i have good memory (approx 70 mb).
Hi i wounder if there is an programmer or developers who knows how to modify this app and device.
I recently got a exicto V1 from my company in sweden Tele2 to test it. But they dont have much things in it. I want to have spotify and Netflix on it. But the problem is i dont know how to put Netflix to it and they have locked the device to them so usb and other wont work wich they claim. if yoy could help me i would be so happy.
Maybe you only have to change the app so that Netflix and Spotify can work? And also make mirror from the mobile ti the tv? By only configure the tele2 play app and not the device

This should be in Q&A. If you don't have access to usb chances are you can't even obtain root, much less manipulate the software. There are ways of hooking through software but that's on devices that we have proprietary drivers etc for.

Hi guys,
I'm currently using my player pro which I purchased from the play store but every now and then when something important is on TV like world cup match it says I cannot use 3g and must use WiFi. I want to be able to watch TV on my note 3 anywhere I want and not be restricted to WiFi. Also the free apps have loads of ads and crap. I don't mind paying for an app that will let me watch UK TV channels just as long as it doesn't rely on WiFi and must have no ads.
Can anyone recommend a good TV app?
