Idk, but the update available was on only 12MB and I still have running is 4.0.4. Everything went well, though. Big tnx for the steps. I gotta try to download the actual software on PC and do it that way. Unless, I missed something.

[Q] 710 wont connect to network

Hello guys:
I have a t-mobile Lumia 710 and am using it on viva Dominican Republic. I debranded and upgraded to 12070 but I can not get it to connect to my network data service. I use 2 different sims 1 in the US connects no problem but the Dominican will not connect at all. I changed APN and also tried the Network setup app with no luck, even did a hard reset it does not find the network.
Help please dont know what else to do
maybe with the full unlock there is a way to change the settings?
Phone info
FW rev. 1600.3015.8107.12070
HW rev. 112.1402.2.1.
Also another question how to do a zune restore after a hard reset
had to do everything manual after the reset because zune would not give me the option to restore
Settings > Mobiles Network > Scroll to bottom > APN > Enter settings Manually ?
Thanks for your reply, but I already tried that with no luck.
The phone has the network setup app version 1.4.0.0 but when I fire it up it says no network found. I saw in another tread a link to upgrade it there it comes up version 1.6.0 but it does not let me download it. Dont know what else to do.
Mine is Version 1.6.3.0
I think I just got it from the Marketplace but its been removed.
I`ll post back here if I find anything about it
EDIT - Apparently it was pulled from the market due to an Interop Unlock security bug, and renamed to "Persiapan Jaringan" (Which translates from Indonesian into "Preparation Network")
I guess you`ll have to wait for the dev to update it
Might be because I already have it installed, but under the Nokia Collection in the phones Marketplace app its still there
Try using this link from your phone
http://windowsphone.com/s?appid=b95840dc-a542-42a6-bee4-7d1a12f62d2c
Thanks Detection, that was the one I was trying to download I have version 1.4.o and in the market place it says 1.6.0 but it wont let me download.

I got the same error, that my phone is not supported for beta labs. And yes it's a china variant (TA-1099) with Global ROM.

My guess is, they must be validating the IMEI to see if it is a device shipped with global ROM or not.
There is an OTA zip link in https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/nokia-x6-6-1-plus-software-info-t3832796
You can try that method once.

Do you want to say the phones with the model's number TA-1099 and the "global ROM" are official? Is the TA-1099 model not the Chinese version and is not only for China market?
Does the pure China version(TA-1099 model, that is for China market and with the original China ROM) have the same Pie beta update's offer?
I think all 1099s are Chinese versions that manually installed unofficial naked android.
My nokia 6.1 plus model is TA-1083. Can I get the andriod Pie upgrade

Beta labs is closed for this device now, so I don't think I will be able to capture that link.

Yes, most of the people seems to have got it
i wanted to downgrade my android version from 9 to 8 or 8.1... How can I do that without PC?
Hey. I got Pie yesterday.
Not bad. Annoyingly it seems to handle Bluetooth differently, so my Fitbit stopped working, and I had to re-pair it.
And the screen auto-brightness dims too far sometimes.
Otherwise, nice & stable.
@Sceint okay guys,
I succeeded with converting the v3.38 OTA package by payload_dumper.py into fastboot-flashable images
and uploaded the whole package plus cmd. > https://mega.nz/#!TahAQApb!guFwQxAbA3Vms2gh7x6VOvdDs8WvcrkPgiuHQW

Then, you just have to download and install the last rog phone 3 firmware from asus website!
ROG Phone 3 | ROG Phone 3 | Gaming Phones|ROG - Republic of Gamers|ROG Global
ROG Phone 3 sets the new standard for mobile gaming! Absolute Power. Absolute Visuals. Absolute Control.
rog.asus.com
You download it, put it in the root folder of your internal storage space, reboot your phone and process to an update search, you'll get a notification to install it!
I did it this way yesterday, working like a charm!
You have the Asus flag off. There will be no automatic updates anymore. Only manual programming remains.
Once you copy the latest update from the Asus website to the root directory, this should work.
If it doesn't work, your phone doesn't have a serial number or an IMEI. Or the serial number of the phone does not match the assigned IMEI number. Or vice versa. This is an old number of fake sellers.
Either way you have a problem.

It could also mean the option to detect software update after restart from developer options is turned off (ensure you are a developer)
