Thank you very much!! I had the same trouble with 8.1, and works now for me. Best Regards!

Don't do this, guys. That is a leaked escrow build which is not finalized. If you install it, you will not be able to update to the final release without re-installing.
The USB fix for Xperia phones has already been released as part of KB2917929, which should be available from Windows Update for 8.1 users. Everything is explained in this blog entry.

New graphical interface and icons, now with Hamburger menu and Fluent Design elements, a new thing among Windows Phone 8 apps on the Store.
New menu with information about your device. Now it is also possible, using the appropriate button, to copy the data in the system clipboard.
Important renewal of the section on the suitability of Windows 10 Mobile. Now it includes more details and many more devices.
The sections related to news, tutorials and tools have been renewed and updated.
Introduced a small section with notifications by the developer.
Introduced the section with all versions of Windows 10 Mobile released, public and Insider. For versions still supported there is a countdown in days to the end of support date.

Install APKs on WIndows 10?

Hey Guys, I heard it's possible to install Android APKs to my WIndows Phone.
I just updated my NOKIA Lumia 920 from 8.1 to 10.0.10586.545 (Custom ROM) to do that.
I found some tutorials where I have to use "APKTOW10M" or "wconnect" but I always get "Error bootstrapping the device Error code=8".
Is there a way to install Android apps?
Which Windows 10 Mobile Version still supports APK Installation?
not supported and not possible...

I've read it WAS possible https://mspoweruser.com/how-to-install-android-apps-on-windows-10-mobile/
In this Tutorial I saw that the recommended OS Version is Build 10512.
SO if I Install Build 10512, it should work, or not?
Then there's the question... how can I get this version?
simply not worth... is not all apk work and work much terrible than worst WP apps and that old build is full of bugs...
Astoria is dead.
cant bring dead things to life....wait fo a miracle some day!!!

Just bought Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 using Nitrogen Kernel version 3.10.107

2nd hand from ebay. So my question is "How to connect to a Windows XP laptop" (I know its old but I trust it) as the Xiaomi software (MiPC suite) doesnt recognise the phone.
Kernel version 3.10.107 [email protected] #12 Wed Jun 28 21:57;00
Build No Nitrogen_kenzo-7.1.2-NZH54B
Nitrogen OS build date Mon Jul 17 08:49;28
Is it a Nitrogen "issue" or a Xiaomi "issue" or is it just something you deal with if you choose to mod your phone ?
Thanks a whole lot !
Oh jeez , stop telling "i trust it", apart from you nobody does get an update to 7 or 10 you know how to get one... Even if your computer isn't powerful enough switch to a light linux distribution such as Zorin OS Lite but please stop being stubborn using a totally outdated and security hazardous os such as XP

Your problem IS that it's XP, the drivers & software won't work so you can't interact with the phone. Upgrade your windows install

... Actually yes , your problem IS totally solved on recent OSes , even more "light" ones .
I have a eeepc with a 1ghz Atom single core and 1gb ram running Lubuntu 14.04 LTS and it's first damn usable compared to any Windows and no problem about drivers and detecting my phone so you simply have to update
download MTP update for windows xp and it will recognize rn3 with custom roms and not the miui roms

That still won't allow him to use the Mi tools, so no flashing with Mi Flash, no Unlocking, and thus no way to get away from MIUI

Download the correct firmware from: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...a-oxygen-os-repo-of-oxygen-os-builds.4003455/
Place it in the root directory of your SD Card and do a local upgrade via Settings > System > System updates > Cog Wheel > Local upgrade > point to firmware you downloaded.
@Hw4ng3r
Thank you for your reply. Do i have to do all updates in order ( 10.0.0.5, 10.0.0.6, 10.0.0.7 ... and so on) or does the last one 10.0.0.14 contain all previous updates? Does this update wipe my phone data or will i have everything left on it.
In case of update 10.0.0.14 there are 2 update files, do u know witch one is the last and witch one should i download?
Thank you

No you do not need to update in order. Just pick the latest version ( or version you want) and you're good to go.
The BA version apparently has two zips for the .14. One was what was available pre Feb 2021, and one that is there on the EU support site now. I'm not sure what has changed between the two versions though. Maybe someone else that knows more can comment on that.
Just be warned that if you do go Android 11 and want to come back to Android 10, you will need a data wipe to come back.
Thank you for your help!
I`m downloading now the .14 version from official website and doing the update.
Thanks again and topic can be closed if needed.

still ui 1.0

Hi guys.
Please advise me of the solution as I get to my realme 7 for official version ui 2.0. I bought the phone from a local telecommunications operator in Slovakia. Doesn't look branded. I downloaded and installed the latest update from realmeupdater.com (RMX2170_11_A.41). I haven't received an update since. I also tried vpn. Thanks.
Be glad you have Android 10.
For example: In Android 11 double click to wake does not work . It doesn't matter if it's official rom or custom.
This is very frustrating. Android 12 is coming up on the phone, and we won't receive it because of this stupid bug!
I found a way to update. It seems that the version you have is bugged, so you have to rollback to a previous one.
Steps I followed:
1)Downloaded this version from the site you mentioned: RMX2170EU_11.A.38
2)Reboot to recovery > Install from Storage > select the .ozip.
3)Reboot to OS and... a wild update appeared! Version RMX2170_11_C.26.
Hope this helps all those stuck in Realme UI 1.0.
