+1 I love that app and bought it as well.

There are three ways you can do this:
1. Download and run link2sd- you should be able to download games straight to external memory.
2. Throught apps in settings- go to your apps, click on the app you want to send, and click move to SD card.
3. Through settings- you can go to the settings (Idk what section it is under) and change the installation place from internal memory to external memory.
Good luck and I hope this helps!

Folder Mount I found to be much easier to use than GL to SD

Phone memory is faster....but smaller
SD had more space but slower....
Make your choose?
I reccomend most important apps leave phone memory and less important apps you can move sd card.
Cheers

Running ICScrewD ROM
Settings>Applications> Manage Applications> the On SD Card tab at the top, will move capable apps to the sd card.

Thanks for the reply guys but Im not trying to move my apps to the sd card . Im trying to make the data that the apps download go to the sd card

I don't think you can. The internal storage is mounted to /mnt/sdcard, and apps seem to always put their downloaded data on /mnt/sdcard. Only tip I can give is to move all your music, pics and videos to the external card to make room for the app data.
Or, move game data to the external sd card when you're not using it, then move it back when you want to play that game.

Hey guys I figured out that cyanogen has that option to use internal or external sd for data storage. Is there a stock rom that offers it?
Sent from my SGH-I777 using Tapatalk
No, at least not on any stock based android I've seen. Cyanogenmod was designed to be installed onto the ext sd card. The 'option' it gives is to use the internal, not the other way around. Technical difference, but nonetheless.
I've never seen a stock based 'prom' (that's for you gary) for any phone that had android installed onto the ext sd card.

[Q] How do i stop games from installing data into internal memory?

Hey guys, I installed Asphalt and Nfs most wanted, and i was pretty shocked to see that it installed in my internal sd card, it only has 4gb of usable space as it is. Any way i can prevent this, or edit some text and transfer it into my Sd card?

Thanks, its working great with Viper 2.2.0 ROM, although the internal memory isn't mounting on the PC. Any fix for that?

I use FolderMount. Note that part of the app still reside in internal memory but it allow the big game data etc to be stored to external sd.
Work great for me on my root SGP321 4.2.2. My newspaper data and games with large data now reside in the 64GB external sd.
You might want to check out whether this app work for you.
Ok tried it moved data for one game over tried the game it tries to download the data or it can't download not sure what the issue is

The card needs to be fat32 and after you copy the data you need to go into the app and mount the folder, if you don't it won't find the data and it will try to download it again. /// this is due to the way sony has implemented the exfat drivers, something funny the way they did it, maybe some dev can explain it better.

Transferring Apps to External SD Card

I love my Z2. I bought the LG G3 and S5 at the same time and sold my G3 and gave my son the S5. I was a dyed in the wool Samsung fan until they quit making international models that worked on AT&T with FM radios. I listen to talk radio all day on my Z2 without using any data and with little battery drain.
I have rooted the Z2 and installed the exposed framework, but am not able to move apps to the SD card like I can with my Note 2 and S5. The Z2 only comes with 16GB of storage internally. I cannot believe that there isn't a way to store apps and their data on the SD card. I know that with KitKat Google has been limiting what can be done with the SD cards ( very idiotic).
Any ideas?

Yes use the 'kitkat SD card full access' xposed module and folder mount to sort it out

But this module allows any app to write to SD Card. Then you can use folder mount to mount apps and its data to sd card.
