The main reason I downloaded Beanstalk 4.4 for the Ray was because of the Multi Window feature.
But, I can't seem to find it anywhere on my phone.
Neither can I find the Pie controls.
Nor can I find the dual pane options.
And does Halo have an off button somewhere?
I've torn through the settings numerous of times and I still can't seem to find any of them.
Help would great.
Thanks.

so i am running an lg optimus 3d (LG P-920) on CM10 nightly 19/12 (todays) and i installed a rom the other day (pacman) and it had a neet feature in the settings page where it had dual panel view kinda how facebook works. but anyway on the cm10 official it doesnt have it and i been looking around and seen it on email too and it looks reallly nice.
i was wondering how i would do this myself to any app that i choose
i think what its doing is forcing tablet UI in certain apps..
but i am a noob and i will admit it.
just be nice and help this nooobie out.
as far as i read rom you need is based out of paranoidandroid
it has per app setting built in
I know that this looks like it has been asked a dozen times, but I assure you that I have looked high and low and have installed literally 10 or so keyboards trying to compare features.
Here's what I am looking for (if it's possible):
Looking for a port of the keyboard that comes with AOKP 4.2.2 Milestone 1 or later. I know that there are tons of Jellybean keyboards out there and they even have gesture typing, but the one that comes with AOKP has the long press alternate keys exactly where I want them as well as the right selection.
I have tried the Google Keyboard from the Play Store and it doesn't have the long press alternates (aside for a select few that aren't labled).
Does anyone know how I can get this keyboard to work on my Note II? I have even gone so far as to extract it from an AOKP ROM and it loads fine, however the gesture typing does not work (just shows the gesture trail but doesn't type anything)
Is this at all possible? Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance!

If AOKP is like the other AOSP Roms then the keyboard is the Google keyboard, unless they are using the older AOSP keyboard which is the same thing with a different name. AOKP may just use a different one but I doubt that.
Have you tweaked with the settings in the keyboard once installed to make sure the gesture trail is turned on?
You might get more help in the Themes section seeing how they deal with a lot of keyboards and mods for keyboards.

I tried everything. Gesture trail is turned on. The keyboard version is 4.2.2. Not really sure what else to do. Seems like maybe a lib file is missing or something.

if you mean the multiwindow that you know from samsung, then it is only available in roms based on samsung.
omnirom, which is not samsung based, also has a splitscreen view, by longpressing an app in recent apps (but also with apps like bubble launcher).
but omniroms splitscreen view is still a bit buggy.
omniroms thread can be found in general section.
an alternative could be, until it is stable, to use a rom which supports halo (it creates a floating window on top of your currently used app)

thanks,,,, stupid 10 post policy :silly:
I have been searching xda and Google for weeks trying to find a way to get a truly customizable navbar like we can on older versions of aosp, haven't found a 4.4.x aosp rom that can do this yet either.
Gravity box gets me close but I can not change the symbols or single tap functionalities. I'm trying to get the phone and messaging apps incorporated into it as a start but I'm basically looking for a permanent navbar/dock to put my most used apps to switch instantly between them.
If anyone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.
[Paranoid android ROM is missingtons of features.. What happened to u guys? You guys were awesome. You guys were adding nice and unique functionalities to android like halo, pie, hover . but what happened now. Now the current paranoid android ROM has only theme engine. Why you guys removed all those nice features. Please add some xblast tools features and the floating windows features. And you guys did a great job. Good work. Always liked paranoid android Roms they have very unique and good functionalities.
Somebody hasn't tried it obviously.
We have hover, we have pie, we have floating window, quick settings, etc etc.

I like your rom and CyanogenMod function more!
Lock Screen
High Guys does this Rom have lock screen notifications ?
USB host
Add USB host mode.
The only thing keeping me back from upgrading from 3.99 to 4.4 is the fact it doesn't have the one feature which I heavily use... The Hybrid engine, that has to be my favorite mod to Android.
I hope you guys release it soon.
Keep up the good work!

The new paranoid android rom which i used doesnt have hover or floating apps. The one with CM theme engine integrated. The main thing which i am missing a lot is the hybrid engine.

If you are running official paranoid android then you definitely have hover and floating apps. Sounds like you didn't turn hover on....
