**Forgive me if this is in the wrong forum**
Hey guys I have a question about Halo vs Floatifications. I cant really decide what I like best. One thing i really do like about Floatifications is I can turn off certain notifications and only receive the ones I want on the "Flotation". I have yet to find a way to do this with Halo, unless that has to do with the Black/white list option (not really sure what that means :/) But anyway just wanted to see what you guys like best Thanks

Hi, as we all know androids notification is quite great. Apple however took this concept and in my opinion improved it. Many developer also seemd to like it and there are many apps on cydia that offers some customization.
What I'm looking for is an app or any way really that lets you customize the drop down window.
I'd like to b able to change wallpaper, change color of text, add widgets and info for fast updates.
I have spent many hours googling but I cant find anything like this. Is there any way to do this or does someone have thw ability to make souch an app?
I hope
I'm pretty sure access to the android notification can not be done through an app. Its like a core system process that probably can't be edited in real time. You would have to embed some sort of "notification drop down settings" into the OS.
But he is right Apple should not be ahead of us in any way..
Has no one left with common computer skills?
There's many topics on this here one just for you http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1363528
Google and search button's seems to be extra these days
Good stuff I'll have to try. I don't know about everyone else about the search function, but I like to use my phone as a PC so the search does not work all that great through the android browser. Then filtering through the results.on this smaller than PC screen will give anyone a headache. Maybe the xda app is better idk..

Hello Everyone I was wondering if I'm the only one who thinks about this but I thought up that what if android had a os that made the notification tray like a news paper where it has a title and weather and time at the top area and then pictures or some multimedia of the notification, then maybe some kind of description of the notification or the text message or something to that effect.
Anyone ever think of something like this?
Anyone ever developed anything like this?
Anyone think they could develop anything like this? If so let me know I'd love to see my idea come to life.
Hi there,
I would like to know how I can change colours on my Android... Just like the blueish thing on the top bar, I can't stand it... Can't I just change it to white or else???
Why is'nt there any options to change that... I mean it's not a big ask is it
Vonz
I dont think you will be able to achieve this even if you are rooted. You have to install some custom ROMs which will proide you options for this. For ex: AOKP.
Mate, I have 6 ROMS in my BootMenu and NONE of them provides the option. I always wanted to do so since GB and now we have moved up it is still not possible. Even the themes do not cover the base frame and you still CANOT CHANGE THE COLOURS.
Appologies for my frustration but it seems that it is the simplest and the FIRST thing that any user will be trying to do if interested in customisation. I have all the custom ROMS in the world and still kicking around with the basic ugly blueish colours the designers arbitrarly choosed for us without implementing a simple menu to change them, what's the go with this??
Everybody is happy the way it is? No one wants to have a possibility to change layout colours?
Search is unavailable at the moment soo
This is completely new for my brother, he finally switched from the dreaded iPhone to an HTC One android phone.. and loves it so far. Buttttt.... he wants to customize the Blink feed to show specific stuff. What can and cant you do with the Blink feed, and how?
For example, he wants BF to only show the news feed he is interested in, and he wants only some of his important buddies texts to show up on it and stuff.. so essentially he just wants to know how to adjust what shows and what doesnt. Thank you all.

If you are in BF and you scroll down (to make it refresh) you will also see that on the right under the weather there are 3 dots that give you options. Within these options you can choose from a limited array of new sources and services that may interest you. Now the display of text messages is not available, they do have some custom options available like: Calendar, HTC Share, Kid Mode and TV. They also include display of Flickr and Linkedln accounts (yea I know.... )
HTC has promised to add more extra content to this, and personally speaking, I hope they do because I use it a lot and I would wish that it would be for something more than the options they provide.
Hope this helps.
Awww man.. I was hoping it was more custom tailored... maybe I should look up some custom ROMS that may add such features?

Don't know if some devs can do some modification, but HTC has seen the response on BF and they know that people love it but wish it would be better, so hopefully 4.3 or 4.4 brings us a great update, I'm one that would line up for it !
Paranoid Android made me forget Xposed, never looked back. The genius behind peek and pie just frightens people who see it in action and it makes me think I am playing in a sort of near-future fiction.
One thing I am desperate for, despite all this, is the possibility to change icons, system-wide, like Unicon permits it
.
I know it is not a pure "google experience", but in my opinion bad design choices made by app developers for their icons aren't either.
The possibility to have a clean look, either by changing a single icon or even multiple of them to get a unique and coherent look all across the system.
I also know that there is the possibilty to change the launcher, but I find it more disturbing than anything other to have two different icons for the same app. It just seems like badly hiding someone else's mess.
I wish you all a good day, silently waiting to enjoy hover, hopefully soon and in all it's glory.
Thank you again for making my phone feel awesome each time I hold it.
