I have real problems trying to decipher your posts, real problems...
Tap to wake will have nothing to do with the display tech the phone uses, I think it is a feature within the snapdragon SoC. So it might happen
Afaik, tap-to-wake is just a kernal related thing....
It depends on Sony to spend us this little nice feature....
Gesendet von meinem C6833 mit Tapatalk
Yep tap to wake is only part of the kernel. So if Sony wants to they can give it to which phone they like.

Will this improve chances of getting double tap to wake on our beloved XZU

As I said above, it's a hardware feature:
required drivers were present in the original firmware, but they were locked. The mod simply unlocks them, and, because this is a hardware-level function, battery life shouldn’t be affected significantly.

Hi Guys,
Is it possible to have TimeScape widget on Sony Tablet or may be the Xperia Launcher itself??
I would like this too! Its actually quite usefull from gingerbread 2.3
Hi guys,
Anyone tried to import Timescape or some other xperia features to tablet?
Apart from the res issues, it'll also rely on Xperia specific framework which we don't have.

Seems nice! I like this launcher... let see if can be improved.
Any one is using another launcher? I don't like very much the original one.
Off-topic: is it possible to uninstall some system applications (ex:music and video player, gallery,....)?

Without root, I don't think it'll be very easy to uninstall those system applications. Once rooted, we might be able to freeze or uninstall them either manually or through something like Titanium Backup. Until then, we'll just have to put up with it.
now the tablet is rooted, any success ???

try this. designed for all resolutions
As for timescape, just get the apks and install them. Tell us if timescape works

Timer section doesn't look right...
This is definitely great stuff, i was looking for this kind of clock app ever since i got sony ericsson after htc.
But in timer, you can see on screenshot, buttons are too low. It's even worse in landscape - timer circle is squashed, looks egg-like.
I tried to fix this, but the apktool gives error on recompiling...
Any help?

look for the SemcClock.apk in the thread of xperia Go System folder,is MDPI so looks perfect in our devices
Fixed graphics
Nevermind, i did it eventually it was a little tricky...
Graphics for Xperia mini (all 480x320) are fine now. I cannot test, but it should work on higher res devices as well.
I tested a little, no crashes yet.
Old semcdeskclock is now redundant, you can remove it. Either way, no conflicts
Have fun.
Links please?

Requires Xposed Framework!
This module adds a new L-styled home button to your navigation bar, which doubles as a battery indicator.

Settings:
This module is fully configurable, the settings app is hidden from the launcher, access it by going into Xposed, tapping modules, then tapping the module itself.
Compatibility:
This should work with most ROMs on most devices (HTC, Sony, Nexus devices, AOSP, CM, PA, Omni etc). LG devices are currently unsupported on stock ROMs. Patches welcome since I can't get my hands on an LG device.
Download:

As promised on reddit, this module is now open source and licensed under the GPLv3 license https://github.com/MohammadAG/Xposed-Battery-Home-Icon
Amazing as always
Great job! ☺

thanks for the great mod brother! it works fine on my z1c with z3 systemui with xperia xposed module. I had to change the padding size to fit the number.
Can you share the background in the first post? Thanks.

Sony will be rolling out the new music app to replace Walkman. Walkman will be renamed to MUSIC. The icon will change to a 'music note'. This is classed as beta but I've not experienced any problems with it at all. Just install as a normal apk. Backup your walkman app just incase you want to restore it or reinstall through play store.

what are the changes beside the re-branding?
There's a visualizer option in the player settings, not sure if that was an option before, can't remember lol. The settings are moved to left swipe menu, I think few visual changes on the player window too, like I said I can't really remember what the old one was like.

Plain install?
Can anyone confirm that it works as it should for the 1ii, or doesn't lose important features or break them?
Does this app install and replace the current "cinema pro", or will it install and run separately?
Forgive me if this is a redundant question, I'm just trying to avoid a factory reset or having to use a flash tool while travelling, I'd love the latest camera Pro and video pro apps and whatever I can glean from the latest devices (looking for that thread next, any insights into random compatible or ported apps is appreciated)
Just returned my pixel 6 pro, I'm actually stoked on the Xperia again, had a blast shooting with it last night and have more appreciation for it and want to make it feel more new. Tmi
Cheers

I have been using this a bit.
One problem I have encountered: if I use the 70mm lens, set the focus to manual, and then manually set the focus to infinity, I seem to get results that are slightly out of focus (even for distant objects).
Has anyone else found this?
