just flashed my rom with samflare v5 in hope of getting wifi direct. but it is not there. i do not want to download messy apps from playstore for wifi direct. will i be able to get wifi direct in any other rom.

WiFi direct is hardware feature or software because I have heard if phone support wife's hotspot then it should support WiFi direct

Use Super Beam app from the Play Store or use the LAN Sharing feature in ES File Explorer....

SamFlare V5 problem while sending message inCanvas HD
I installed SamFlare V5 rom in my canvas HD but I can't send messages to anyone. It shows error and forces close the app, Even internet and calls are also off. Can anyone help

try better battery stats it will give more info about what causes the wakelocks then google to try and find soln to reduce these wakelocks..

erm.. to find wakelocks you should try partial wakelocks instead of alarms in the first box
and btw 2.7% / hr drain not that bad !!

why do you want to switch to ics?
Since 4.1 is the base android version of micromax canvas hd a116 , nobody would want to create a stable ics build.

because i can use chainfire3d on ICS (eg on micromax ninja a89) played many HD games on it which was not even started-up in Canvas hd , Chainfire3d cannot be use in Canvas hd as it has jellybean , if theres a way degrade it too ICS could be better ,

Can you try with rooting CHD and modifying build.prop?
Also a game having much higher expectations wont run even if chain fire is active.

so many bugs in this update bro
there is so many bugs in this rom 1)after installing this update sd card slot stops working 2)boot image sucks 3)notification panel does not slide faster 4)sometime it crashes and errors 5)dolby atmos not works and other things are good but solve those probs bro..
I had installed marshmellow 6.0 but i can not find switch camera option in my camera.. i have tried other camera apps too but still having same problem..
Help me pls if u can
