Hello there, recently i order Samsung Galaxy S2 SPRINT on Amazon, and yesterday i got my phone, after 20 days or something. But i received different model of one which i order. I got some Japanes model, it have creapy antene, and it is SC-02C.
I was searching the forum, and find way to rot it, it work, it helped me to delete stupid system aplications. Still it show up yellow triangle on bot, but work at last.
I have two question
First: Is there any way to add custom language, i wish to add Serbian, i have only Japanes, English and some on wired letters, guess it's some Japanes.
And second: Is there any way to change this room to official Galaxy S2 room, on bot it show up some NTT DOCOMO image.
Anyone ?

Erhm, hi, i'm new in the forum and i hope i can explain properly what i have done so far and what i want to achieve posting my question here.
Basicaly i bought an used samsung galaxy ace s5830 in London it was a ''3'' locked phone. I am now in Brazil and after searching a little i was able to root the phone, get the unlock code but when i take the sim card out of the cellphone and insert the new one it doesn't ask for the unlock code, after searching in this post : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192122 i read something about changing the rom in my cellphone, one that has the unlock screen. Ok, now i have some questions :
1- I looked around for some firmwares, like this site http://www.samfirmware.com/ in the galaxy ace section the firmwares were divided in regions, europe, america, asia, i know brazil is in america but it was writen usagalaxy, basicaly i want to know if i have to use the europe firmware only to get the unlock screen and then switch to a brazil firmware or if i can go to a ''brazilian area firmware'' directly
2- The posts about roms dont usualy talk about this, do you know a rom that is samasung ace compatible and has the unlock screen in it?

I think you need some version of Latin America...I'm from Costa Rica...try a stock ROM for s5830L...

Hi everybody, I've recently bought a new Samsung Galaxy S 2 HD LTE and it's amazing, but has got only one problem, I'm italian and the firmware's got some problems working with my carrier and the network, I Googled but nothing came out about what I need, a European firmware or a guide to extract the firmware from the phone and try to modify something, 'cause the problem it's not very big, but it's annoying having a firmware that's in not compatible with my network at all... Anybody could help me?

Yep. Search for an unbranded firmware for your country over @ Sammobile.com given our collection of same went away recently. Follow whatever installation instructions they have for flashing same.
Also, if you wanted to 'de-brand' your phone, you could always root it (search on here, there are 1000's of posts that tell you the how & why of this. This thread is a good start), and then use Titanium Backup to freeze or uninstall all the crap your telco/Samsung put on the phone.

I got in hands a Samsung SCH-I939D in China (where I live). Of course the Android version in it is a chinese Android with all kind of app sI don't want, no market, no google apps ect...
I looked on the forum for some info about this phone but the search engine didn't give me any relevant result.
Main question : Is it possible to find any custom Rom or at least non chinese rom possible to install on this phone?
Second question : Has anyone tried to hack this phone and is it possible to install google apps, root the phone or anything?
I have some intermediate knowledge about android (rooted, installed custom roms, unlocked... several android phones)

I have samsung galaxy S3 duos (SCH I939D) , It is not launched in India. samsung has made it for China & Russia. Mine is fron China. The problen with the phone is that PLAY STORE is not running and phone is not receiving 3G network. And even there is not any option to change network mode to WCDMA. Can rooting or flashing solve my problem ?
And also somethings are in chinese language which cant be removed or deleted by me. As there are not any option to delete those chinese things. Can I delete them also. The OS of my mobile can be changed to English version ?

Hello everybody, my name is Juan Carlos, I'm from Cuba and I need help with my phone. Recently I received a Samsung Galaxy ACE 4 from a friend of mine, but it was bought in China (for China Telecom) and therefore the main language was chinese.. Fortunately the second language was english and I could change it. All was good and fine but last week the android system (4.4.2) got some troubles with some features like identifying new ringtones I had copied and the audio files... I changed the preferred app to audio and images but all was the same.
The model is GALAXY Ace 4 LTE - SM-G3139D and I found out the ROM in a website, but the only ROM available is for China Telecom and my fear is if I reinstall the ROM all will be back to chinese...
I would like to know if I can install another Samsung Galaxy ROM in English/Spanish and how I will do that in case I can...
