As the title says, I have a TB that won't connect to a PC. It will charge just fine, but no method will get it to talk to the PC via usb. No detection, no pull down menu on the phone to select disk type, not even a "USB connect" sound on the computer.
I tried it via Hboot and recovery too. Nothing. Is the USB port on this thing dead?

To me sounds like you need to try a new USB cable.
Hello. I have a problem. When i connect my SGSII to my pc it connects and disconect, and it repeats every second. I cant use usb mode. Charger works good, it charges ok via charger and usb. but problem is i cant connect my phone to pc. I tried to make factory reset,tryed on another pc and other usb cable but it doesnt helps. Please guys i need help.

which udb mode is the phone in media or mass storage ?
try deleting and reinstalling the usb drivers.

I have a problem with my Lenovo K3 Note.
Can't transfer files from PC using USB cable (it only charges). Computer doesn't recognize and no notification or option to change connection type on Smartphone.
The only way to connect to PC via USB is when i have TWRP recovery open. In this case i can transfer files, etc
Already tried in different computers with different cables and with USB debug on and off.
Any help would be very appreciated

I have an MXQ Pro Quick Play TV box (Amlogic S905). I have USB Debugging enabled, and can connect my Windows 10 PC to the box via USB no problem with the Amlogic USB Burning Tool.
However, I cannot connect via adb thru USB, but I can do so thru network connection (e.g., "adb connect 192.168.1.112"). But I believe a network connection is impossible when the box is in recovery mode, so I can't do adb sideload in TWRP.
When I attach the box via USB, the PC shows no new devices (whether in recovery mode or not).
Any help would be appreciated.
