EDIT: AOKP Gapps are diferent to CM Gapps? I'm asking because I like to use core gapps, and AOKP in OP are full gapps (too much bloatware).

Known issues:
* Make sure you have updated to the latest firmware. Usually flashing the latest CM build will do the trick.
* 5.1 Gapps of your choosing
Please give first boot a good few minutes.
Candy5 is in early stages and will inherit CyanogenMod bugs and issues. But some we have resolved ourselves.
The base has been tested and passed most users needs for a Daily Driver.
Special thanks to CyanogenMod, SlimRoms, for making their source open.

We just thought it would be nice to show who enjoys their Candy as much as we do! Thanks to all who contribute and thanks of course to Cyanogenmod, SlimRoms, AOSP and of course, all of you android enthusiasts out there!

Project D.I.S.C.O. is a new Android 5.1 and 5.0.2 based ROM with a lot of features.
It's developed by TeamDISCO and has some "original" features.
We are building it for some Nexus devices and also some non-Nexus devices (We're still working on it).
Project D.I.S.C.O. is based on pure AOSP (for Nexus devices), we picked some cool features from other ROMs and we wrote some features from scratch to be original.
Note that we're not responsible for anything.
PLEASE CHECK OUR WEBSITE FOR 5.1 Changelog & Features
Feature List:
* Option to disable Google search bar at the recents menu (Original feature, written by @yashade2001 -sorry C&P mistake)
* Clear recent apps from navigation bar (PA [email protected]) (Original feature. written by TheMrcool212)
* Advanced power menu (Credits to CM & Project DISCO)
* Battery percentage at status bar (Optional only on 1.1) (Credits to mattgmg1990)
* Show weather at the status bar header (Optional only on 1.1) (Credits to Roman Birg)
* Status bar clock and date tweaks (only on 1.1 / Credits to kufikugel / SlimLP)
* Navigation bar custom height (Credits to Quarx2k)
* Quick settings quick pull down (Credits to Roman Birg)
* Volume rocker cursor control (Credits to rascarlo, he forwardported it from kk afaik, original author unknown)
* Screenshot quick delete (Credits to DvTonder & CM)
* Double Tap to Wake (only on 1.1 / Credits to stratosk -Custom kernel based on Semaphore)
* Kexec-patch for Multiboot support (only on 1.1 / Credits to Tasssadar)

FAQ
Q) No SD bug after flashing build?.
A)Run these commands in terminal emulator:
su
restorecon -FR /data/media/0
Q)cm12 themes fails to install.
A)Use those kernels having 'themes' added in service_contexts.
Or use a kernel that comes in 'Any-kernel' format. I use ZEN-KERNEL (http://forum.xda-developers.com/nex...3-10-zen1-dollar-drink-night-bfs-msm-t3062814)

OK, you how have both the coolest avatar and set of rom offerings for this device.
I'm flummoxed.
But the anachronistic creation and last updated dates are icing on the cake (how'd you do that?)...looks like I'm posting whilst you're editing.

Thank you! Downloading now! Was saddened when they closed the other thread and stopped building for shamu.
you sir just made my night/day! i absolutely love this rom! thank you! you kick ass!
Just out of curiosity, will this eventually be RRO Layers or continue with CM Themes? Rom is pretty smooth so far. Thanks again
So happy to see this here. Will flash as soon as I get home. Exactly what I've been looking for.
@VECTUS
Hey,
I'm from the SAOSP dev team. We know it's open source and all, but at least as a courtesy we'd expect you to ask permission before opening a thread that's built over our work.
I also see no mention of the original contributors ( except Banks, who is not even a part of the team anymore ). I don't want to sound rude but I never expected this from a mod.

Clean flash is recommended. you can try different kernels but don't expect any support from dev.

Do not dirty flash. Since we arent based off of Cm14.1 it will most likely give you a bootloop.

Very rude to ask.
Please make a nandroid backup yourself and flash the ROM. Then you can see if there are any bugs.
And if there are bugs you can just restore your nandroid backup.
