i flashed zip and then went into advanced and reboot recovery..
my phone turned off and it doesnt start anymore
please help me!
i have optimus l9 p760
You flashed cwm for optimus 4x on L9.You hardbricked your phone.
You can only flash cwm for l9 on l9 not on any other phone and other way around!
You can throw your phone in garbage now,cause you killed it

i think not,because its hardbricked(hardware part of phone is "burned"),but you can bring it to service.

have you tried to press power button + volume down + home button?
yes it doesn't work I can get it into Emergency Mode!! but dont know what to do from there

nothing it's horrible my computer doesnt detect my phone
It isnt recognizing but when I plug in the phone it turns on to the lg screen also.
The cord i'm using goes to an evo 4g could that cause it???

try a hard reset
HOME+VOLUME_DOWN pressed, press Power
It wont do hard reset, it only goes into Emergency Mode.
And how can I flash clockwork mod?
usb doesnt detect I am gonna try a different cord JIC

Install LG Drivers on your PC and read this
If you can boot into your custom recovery, flash an alternative rom like AGA Rom via recovery and then burn clockworkmod via LGDMP or do anything you want.
It will surely work, IF AND ONLY IF YOU CAN BOOT YOUR P500 IN RECOVERY MODE!

Hey All...need your expertise a particular issue that I'm facing. I flashed my P765 offline with the P760 JB kdz. flashed cm10.1. faced some issues so I returned to ICS with my cwm backup. Now when I try to flash either ICS or JB kdz with LG Update tool, it wont do it and I get stuck at 4% and it tells me to connect my phone with my computer - which I have already done (all drivers installed).
Attached is a screenshot and a log from the update tool. Hoping someone can guide me here. BTW - I have uninstalled and re-installed all drivers.

Did u try using cwm backups in the forum? If that works, try flashing kdz again n see :good:

Yup....i am on my cwm backup(ics)..tried flashing jb kdz again, but it keeps doing the same thing.

hey all...i think I solved it...don't manually put your phone in software mode. Keep it powered on and in LG software mode. flash kdz using update tool and the tool will automatically put the phone in software mode.

Currently i have :crying:the V10H but I'd be happy to come back again to JB
I think I have Beckup.

Hey i have an unlocked bootloader too....i actually tried this a second time and it worked...ensure that you have all drivers installed.

Format your Sd card with mini partition,with primary not logical option n fat 32 file system. ..

solved
I found out what is the problem. My computer has too many USB devices while the power supply is not the brightest. probably due to variations in voltage of 5V I had a problem updating. I disconnected bluetooth and external HDD after which everything is done regularly.

your are a champion,i was a bit to eager and flashed my wifes p768 with the jelly bean rom for the p760,bad idea,camera did not work anymore and apps like talk came back with error messages.tried to flash it back to ics but that was a no go with the manual option of sw mode,stopped constantly at 15% saying phone or device not connected.tried your option as last resort et voila' it worked like a charm.ics back on the phone
camera working again and no error msg's.
have to say but that the upgrade in general to jb on a lg phone does not seem to be a huge step,when i flashed my galaxy s2 to jelly bean that phone had like a whole new feel about it,feature and smoothness wise.
either way u made my day m8:laugh::good:

Did this work for anyone? I couldnt get cwm to install via Artas on v20f. thus couldnt flash the touchscreen fix.

Flash tmboile kdz, root, install busybox, and super su, then install recovery. Exactly what i did.

I've rooted it and flash cwm on it.
So, today i wondered that the phone automatic updates itself. i've got a download notification and i click on it, no thinking what i do.
It was a official update, and i click to install it. The Failure.
My G2 reboots and go into CWM.
i've tried to go to Lg mobile support tool but no result.
should i factory reset ?
I'm on stock rom.
please HELP Me.

Same Problem here.
Our Problem is, that we have lost root!!!
We need root via ADB cmd.
But i dont know how we can root via adb and especially when the phone is only in cwm on...

The easiest way is to flash the rom from the link below. Be sure that you have choose the right firmware for your phone. In the link below there are instructions for flashing. After this, you will have TWRP in your phone and you are ready to do what ever you want.
P.s: Perhaps you will see an error message during the flashing of the rom with LG Flashing tool (something like "Disconnected from browser etc"). Just ignore this message and let your phone do the process.
