hello guys
has anyone used this screen protector? in the site there are two models, one 02 mm specified and costs $ 29 while the other specified rounded, costs less but does not say the thickness, I do not know which one to choose, do not use any flip cover.
I have used both t.glass from brando. I would say the 0.2mm is the best choice. Really very thin, comparable to film screen protectors. They also have an excellent customer support

straight from Hong Kong, takes approx 8 days to get to east coast of USA, very cheap at $15, even claims the 9H hardness like the brand name ones.

0.60mm thick. Holy smokes that's thick. For reference most glass protectors with rounded edges are 0.40mm thick. Non rounded protectors are 0.15mm to 0.25mm depending on the brand.
I also don't see any cutouts for the speaker.
Also, I don't believe any of these glass protectors are true 9H on the hardness. That's equivalent to Sapphire. However, it's still going to be much harder than plastic which has a 3H hardness rating.

At that thickness, I sure don't hope it causes sensitivity issues. Furthermore, I don't see any cutouts for the proximity or luminosity sensors. I know some glass protectors have been plagued with with prox. sensor issues (i.e screen not turning off during calls when you bring the phone to your ear or staying off if you take it off your ear). I guess it's really hit and miss with those things. You would also need some kind of home button sticker/riser of some sort.
Look up Benks AKR on youtube, its pretty amazing, these are .3 thickness, and can take a hammer to them. I bought one, I can post on how it is later.
For $16 just get a screenmate flex protector.
Get the Glass M from eBay for $15 if you want something thinner. I got 2 (one for my sister) and it has no problem sticking like the bodyguardz. They're clear and smooth.. feels like I don't even have a screen protector on

There are China tempered glass protectors for less than 10 bucks on the aliexpress website. I'm tempted, so I ordered a 0.3mm size for my wife's S4 for 8 bucks to test the quality.

Most are just tempered glass with adhesive on one side and oleophobic coating on the other. My understanding is that they put an extra layer into the rhinoshield, a plastic layer under the glass. That will absorb and dissipate impact forces.
I'm working from memory here, I think this is what their kickstand page said a few months ago. I didn't see this description today, but their current description implies it.

they also state on their site that the max hardness of there products go up to 3h..sounds outdated and over priced when the avaverage tg screen protector around the same price has all those features + a hardness avg of 7-9h...for example i am using the mime feather glass on my note 3...free shipping plus you can add an aluminum button for 1 dollar on top of that.

Thanks for the info bros. I am now considering getting one for my Note 3 but not sure which brand/company should I choose. I am looking at SPIGEN again since their support is finally catching up with complaints and they seem to be redeeming themselves. I just checked out mime and it looks great as well. Any more suggestions and if so which is/are the ones you recommend (wonder is someone has done a youtube vid comparison)

I have the Mime and love it. There are no signs of bubbles or lifting edges, and it feels great without the extra button. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like it as much with the extra button. The only thing about it i don't like is the wide cutout for the speaker plus sensors.
There are cheaper models that seem to be the same as the Mime at a much lower price, but if I picked a new one today I'd probably get the Rhinoshield.

Get the Spigen Glas.tr. It's solid. I have it and am really surprised at how sturdy, clear, and responsive it is. No smudges or scratches either.
I have the mime featherlite and love it. Thin and strong. No button needed (although i put on one for fun)

i am quite surprised there haven't been threads with people experimenting with glass protectors and plastic protectors on their own. either way it's redundant but on the other hand can extend the longevity of the glass protectors if having glass isn't your number one priority.
Hi, Does this come with a back protector too? How's it different than the Nilkin glass protector?

Yes it does come with a back protector but it isn't nano glass. No idea about second question.

The main difference is that it's quite a bit slimmer, but on the flip side, it's a lot more expensive.

I have the Glass protector as well and its pretty reasonable.Spigen one is just expensive like hell and not at worth.

I usually don't go for the 'high quality' expensive protectors from past experience, ones i have bought that are 'high quality' with high price tags still get scratches. i just stick to the lower end or average and change it every couple of months when necessary. the place i bought the phone helped me stuck on the front and back for free and it's good enough quality for me

I purchased 4 of them for a total of $2.80 shipped.
I have used these before, and the quality is comparable to BestSkinsEver. I refuse to spend $15 for a Zagg.

I really like their screen protectors, but with the nexus 6 being so big, I have to go tempered glass screen protector.

Good luck finding one that works. Same screen design as moto x and there's none that work for it.

The coupon works with that one as well.
Edit: Came out to $6
I am using one of the tempered glass screen protectors on my Oneplus One right now. I bought 2 of them when they were $49.99 and then 90% off coupon so $10 total.
I also had bought an Orzly tempered glass for my Oneplus One and it looks and feels identical to the Xtemegaurd. The only difference is the packaging.
The Xtemegaurd comes in an envelope while the Orzly comes in a very nice package.
I have had the Xtemegaurd Spartan Glass on my Oneplus One for a couple of weeks and no marks that I can find and it is so much nicer than even a Spigen Ultra Crystal screen protector. Tempered glass really feels like the actual screen and is much better with fingerprints.
figured these would work well until a tempered glass is confirmed to work since the class might be curved
I 've just ordered 3 screen protectors and 3 hig-def dry screen protectors.
10$ since I live outside US. I hope they are good quality screen protectors
Got the tempered glass and a few regular ones. Thanks op

Oh thanks a bunch man, bought a bunch of glass screen protectors and some of the regular ones. Figured it was so cheap it was worth the risk involving the phone having a slightly curved screen.
When I ordered the wet-apply screen protectors last night, the Tempered Glass ones were not even listed! Thanks for the heads up, and I also confirm the 90% off works on the glass ones. $6 shipped! My order of the plastic ones shipped today from Utah, should have them by Thursday.

I ordered 2 the quality is hit and miss as I discovered with the one I bought for my G3 as a backup. Hopefully they got their QC fixed by now
Thanks for the code, bought 2 of the glass ones just in case I mess one up.
Currently there's no screen protector for ME572c; fortunately, however, the screen size and cutout are exactly same as Nexus 7 2013 edition.
Now I want to know which tempered glass plate is the best.
Thanks a lot for this useful information. But just to make, did use already test it with some screen protector?
Thanks for confirming this.
Btw, I have a note 3 and Nilkin 9H+ is awesome. (tempered glass)

I am satisfied with this tempered glass though the cam's hole is a bit off (barely noticeable), and the clarity seems to be good, and the oleophobic layer is there.
