Do you mind if any outside parties port your builds to other devices with credits to you? I'm currently permitted to port the official builds to the Atrix 2, but there hasn't been any updates since last week for any Motorola omap device.

On reboot system stops responding and sometimes YouTube.
This is 100% theme related and probably due to fact that the theme supports many different types of ROMS with relation to icons and xml code,
not all items may be present on every ROM. You will have no adverse effects from this. Just hit ok and continue on.
I'll update this post as issues/fixes arise.

These are unofficial AOKP builds. Please do not post in official AOKP threads with bugs or negative experiences possibly specific to these builds.
HI Everyone. I have compiled an unofficial version of AOKP 4.2.2 for our device.
So far i will not cherry picked, this is just PURE AOKP 4.2.2 with the latest commits.
I will try to get stable builds but no promises because it depend on cm 10.1 latest commit (device tree, kernel etc etc). I am not a developer just an Android and AOKP fan who wants to help out by getting the latest commits out for our device and AOKP in general.
I will continue to sync and build new versions whenever there are major AOKP updates, or they release a new milestone or stable build. (No promise tho )

Building and publishing rom is easy..maintaining, fixing error and updating it, is not that easy.. So i hope that developers from team canjica and other devs can teach me how to update and fix error in this rom.. plus, i am also still learning about c++ and how to commit change in github.. I want to bring something for this device..
Sent from my GT - I9070 using xda premium
Okay, I've flashed and tested the rom for 12+ hours, and I'm comparing it to CM10.1
-very smooth, in fact smoother than cm10.1 itself!
- general UI more glitchy, but, surprisingly games are less glitchy than cm10.1!
-battery life better than cm10.1 with similar use
-every feature otherwise works prefect, and in fact I would recommend this over cm10.1 because I'm able to overlook the slight extra glitches for a battery and performance boost! Not to mention the awesome added features
Hope this helps @assassin0408

It is great tha finally we can have AOKP on 9070. Huge Thank You I just hope you will keep it as clean and bloatware free as possible. Stock Android experience is by far the best you can get. So if you could just concentrate on fixing things rather than adding features, I would be more than happy.

Very welcome! Don't expect it to beat out most of the other stock ROMs here. There's some extremely talented folks here at XDA, but this ROM will get a lot better and will eventually contend (hopefully lol).

Does this not have a kernel baked in?
Man I do wish I wouldn't have cracked my screen on my raxr but it did lead me to this phone. Just wish the bootloader would have gotten unlocked on the raxr. Luckily we still got a recovery to flash roms and mods just no Kernel. I'll give it a go maybe some time this weekend. I'm still trying out darkslide me7 right now to see what this update is all about.

It does but it's an unmodified stock kernel. I just threw that in the OP for people that want a custom kernel.

ROM updated to S4E4, changes include the following:
S4E4:
New UI for ROM Control
Removed redundant brightness code in SystemUI
Cleaned up some code
Fixed color picker
Added AOSP lockscreen vibration toggle
Fixed lockscreen so AOSP sounds are correct. (no more flare or ripple sounds on AOSP lock)
Added sms and phone shortcuts to AOSP lock but they don't work yet
Downloading now, will flash later today thanks BDH

Is android file host free or something? I hate irritating download pages full of adds making you wait to dl at super slow speeds. I provide free server space to devs and themers if you want it, get with me on gtalk [email protected].
You working ME7 yet?

Team HellKat Proudly Presents
HELLKAT for the Samsung Galaxy S 4 (jflte)!!!!
(jflteatt, jfltecan, jfltecri, jfltecsp, jfltespr, jfltetmo, jflteusc, jfltevzw, jfltexx)
HellKat is CM11 based with a completely redone beautiful Holo Red theme. You'll probably notice a difference between HellKat and CM nightlies (or the virgin AOSP builds) due to the LINARO 4.8 toolchain we use to compile the ROMs. HellKat was first created by DerTeufel during Jellybean and was called Hellybean. We now support several devices and with a new build server we will be able to bring this beautiful ROM to even more devices. If you have another device supported by CM you more than likely can build HellKat for your other device. We have a nice build script so that the hardest part of building HellKat is setting up Ubuntu and an Android developing environement. Checkout our sources at https://github.com/Hellybean/android
Here is a quick list of our differences from CM:
- RED THEMED!!!
- AWESOME RED DEVIL DROID WALLPAPER!!!
- Init.d Tweaker built into the settings menu

Just like the CM team.
"Your warranty is now void. We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at any of us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Collectively, and at the same time."

Plus with all the unified builds coming out now that's going to bring a ton more ROM options our way in future.
I'm pretty excited about that.

Want to try one of these aosp Roms but I use tethering a lot. Will I be able to tether on these? Thanks in advance

I'm not running this ROM, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. It works on all the other CM based ROMs.
Ran this last night. Runs good. Like the red theme. It has added features but not the most feature packed right now. I think if you like cyanogenmod mod but want a little themeingwith with a few added features it's. Worth a shot.

Good job here!! No complaints!! Sound works, camera works, no issues!! Very surprised you got it right on your initial release. Not as many settings and tweaks as some of the others, but you have built a solid foundation. Adding those tweaks will be icing on the cake!!
Great job dev!!
We really like dictating what features we add based on user wants. We do not want to bloat a ROM with 10000 features that no one uses.

I really want to try this ROM out actually.
Seems simple, efficient and beautiful.
Its a fairly new rom too right?
I would like to get behind it just for that reason, because it seems so promising.
One of those would be to drop active display and keep lock screen notifications. I'm still searching for my go to aosp rom on the M8 ?
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
We are about 6 months old. We really picked up steam in the last two. I believe you can do lockscreen notifications without active display. I'm currently testing a sense Rom so I'm not able to check yet.

Using it on VZW (for about half an hour or so) phone works (though the volume seems low - probably have the sound turned down) text works - will keep at it
EDIT: have the same loss of wifi password on reboot issue as on cm (thought I thought that was fixed in a nightly)
I'll look at it
