Didn't boot on my retail. I had to pull the battery to restart.
Yep dev edition only
I think this will get moved to the other Development section.
This should be in original android development.

I just read this news today,
But, be careful, ATT does not in the list. Every major carries except ATT ! :crying::crying::crying:

Actually, I believe this should be in general. This is not development of any kind, it's a link to a news story. Of course, that's a call for a moderator.

Well I guess its really confusing what is and what isn't development. I mean there was copy and paste used... right?? Sarcasm aside, moved to general section before people looking for the real thing see it...

OP: Please edit your original post and state clearly that this is only for the Developer Edition devices. Retail devices should not flash this, or they risk bricking their device.
Will do. Sorry about confusion

Do you think we should ask the mods for one? Our rom development forum is too clustered with android development. It is better to move all android related threads now then later when it gets too clustered. What do you all think?

I read somewhere the mention of them 'going to be moved' when this kicks off in full capacity! Aren't they just 2/3 threads at the moment? :s

Hopefully it will get moved soon, yes there are only a few android threads now, but it is better to move them now rather than later when there are too many to move and they are complicated

Wrong device, wrong section, wrong assumptions, and an apparent inability to realize that 2.3 > 2.2.2....
If you're gonna call me out on a quote, at least read it first?
Regardless of all that..
It's only a 500kb bugfix, so you have to already be on 2.2.1 to get it to bring you to 2.2.2, will check it out anyway - Thanks!
Let us examine this thread:
Is it development related?: No
Is it about the Vibrant?: No
Is it about a device similar to the Vibrant (Galaxy S/Nexus S)?: No
Is it in a section where it doesn't belong?: Yes

@ Jellette, yes, you have to be at 2.2.1 in able to see this big fixes, based on what I've read thru forums. And from what I gather from them, they started to integrate it to 2.2.1 for Galaxy S I9000.... But who knows?

weird in this specific and common image of LuneOS http://puu.sh/bm4NI.jpg the oneplus one is clearly being used, however after searching the LuneOS wiki it does not mention the oneplus one being supported at all, i also looked around for perhaps a really early alpha download just to try it out i mean its being used in that every same picture so it should be somewhere right? but i cant find it anywhere.

Yes,, so what is your point, that my comment is unreasonable? Maybe I have misunderstood what you were trying to say?
I don't know, but this is what XDA says: Welcome to the OnePlus One development forum. This forum will allow you to find root methods, third party ROMs, kernels, and other mods for your OnePlus One.
So, I have found a ROM / OS / MOD for my OnePlus One. Most ROM threads are in the dev section, and contain this information. The isea of the forum being to share information. I believe my comment is reasonable and would benefit the community (comments about using this OS on a OnePlus).

Dev threads are meant for WIP projects, they usually don't have releases right away and are meant for devs to collaborate to make the project functional

Got two of these back ordered depending on if Samsung drops the ball like they did with my N3 which cost me a bit of time... will be looking to twist them up a bit upon arrival thanks for the kernel... looking forward to testing. :good:
I can't seem to download the Verizon kernel to try out on my DE Note 4. The Mega link just keeps redirecting me to download Mega even though I have the app installed. Also trying to copy and paste the link into Mega doesn't work because folder links aren't supported by the app. Maybe the direct link?
Also tried the goo.im mirror but doesn't have the Verizon version.
I'm hoping this kernel will fix the lag and stuttering.

I think I should put a disclaimer up. It does prove the statement I made in another thread that having a dev edition sub forum would only lead to the question of compatibility when all that's really different is the bootloader
