Guys,
please bear with me as I know this must be the most asked question and I have found n number of solutions on the web for this. However, I am at my wits end as I have tried every solution in the book and every browser recommended with absolutely no results.
My question is not how to install Flash or how to get it to work, but to find out what I am doing wrong.
I have this flash presentation of interior spaces on the site (url below) which I can see on my laptop/desktop but just unable to view on any browser on my Android 4.2.1.
(unable to post the link as I am a new member)
For a complete story, I use Micromax Canvas 4 (India Product) running on Android 4.2.1. I have downloaded Flash Player 11.1.115.69 and installed on my phone. I have Dolphin browser ver 10.2.5 with the setup of "Flash Player" - "Always on" in the settings. I also have Firefox with settings - Plugins Enabled.
However, I am just unable to view the above content over the phone and am just frustrated with this right now. I have a customer presentation coming up for this and I do not know how to show the content over the smartphone.
Any suggestions - welcome.
Regards
GP

Well, what happens when you TRY to start the presentation? Any error Messages?
Did you try in other browsers, go to drawer and run Flash Player settings.

Hi Bud, welcome to the forums.
I'm afraid that if you want this fixing you will need to supply more information on the problem ie what errors it displays etc.
One possible fix would be to reset youtube to defaults.
Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Youtube > "Clear Data"
Let us know the errors or if the fix above works
;
i can connect to youtube, but i can't see the movies.
When i press on it, he says : page not avaible.
And wich ap do i have to download, before i can use youtube? Because you are talking about the ap youtube, but i didn't install anything yet.
grtz
It comes with youtube on there already as its a Google app. So are you going in through the browser?

Ive just noticed that you mentioned .exe, these type of files are not compatible with android as Android uses .apk files etc.
When I got my G Tab from Woot, it came with Flash and several other applications already installed. When I got stuck in a boot loop and had to reset back to factory default, Flash was no longer installed. I went to the market and installed it again rebooted the tablet, and still wasn't able to access a flash based website I was able to view before. I have tried both flash 10.1 and 10.2 from the market. Is there something else I should be doing to get this app to work? Anyone else have this problem? The website I am trying to access is starfall.com (there are various flash activities that I would like to be able to do with my students).
Thanks for your help!
Are you receiving any error messages?
I recently went to the website you posted in your thread and I was able to use the website with the "web (default)" browser but not with "Dolphin Browser HD." The web went straight to the flash items and it work great but within the "Dolphin Browser HD," the website required me to update it and install a plug-in? The only difference between our G Tablet is my has TNT Lite 4.4 and yours is back to stock. Which stock are you in, 3389 or 3588?
I am in 3588 ( I was able to update before the OTA went down). No, I don't get an error message, it just shoots me to a webpage that states that the website requires a plugin that isn't compatible with my device.
Something else I noticed... although the flash application is showing up when I go into the system, and look for installed applications, it doesn't show up as an icon when I pull up the screen that shows all the applications.
I know it was working when I first got my tablet, and even after I did the OTA update.
Another odd thing (not sure if it is related) You Tube works as long as I am not logged into the website under my You Tube account, but it stops working if I log in. It will work again, if I log out.
See if common flash sites like CNN or ESPN3 work. If flash works on these sites, then the particular site you are trying to use is looking for a specific flash plug-in, such as the one used by IE and desktops. Sites such as Hulu and Fancast are looking for the Adobe Flash desktop plug-in.
There is a hack that will fake these sites in thinking you have the desktop version. Information about the hack can be found in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=856318
Have you tried switching the browsing mode or view to 'Desktop'?
As for Flash not showing up in your list of apps, it only runs, say, behind the scenes. Yo won't be able to really open it up like other apps. So it's normal that you can't find it.
Oh, and if you use Dolphin or some other browsers, they sometimes have flash specific options to use flash all the time, some times, or never. So it could also be your browser not allowing the flash to play
That was the problem.. I had my browser set to view in tablet form. It works just fine in desktop view. Thanks so much!
I have noticed that flash 10.2 on my Gtab with vegan Rom works at some websites and not others. With the stock rom, I was able to find the desk/tablet mode selection in the menus and make 10.2 work consistantly.
Where do I find this setting in the vegan rom?

hey there , i did that and re installed it to but still the same thing
Hi. Sorry that didn't work. Are you running a custom ROM or just the stock one from the carrier?
Edit:
Try clearing the cache and data for Flash Player. Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> Adobe Flash Player -> Clear Cache + Clear Data. Reboot your phone. -> Launch your browser again.
yup im running a stock one with 2.3.4 , just cleaned the cache and data the problem seems still there
Hopefully help
I tried to research your problem a little more, and It's not a sure fire way, but try clearing your browser cache a little bit, and see if there's an option to enable plugins.
Gosh. I'm not sure on this...
Might I ask you to download CatLog from the Market? This is an application that reads the LogCat data and can output it to a file on your SD card.
Launch CatLog -> Press your menu button -> Press Record -> Name the file -> Press OK -> Press your home button. -> Launch the browser -> Do what you do to launch a flash video. -> When it crashes go up to the notification bar and hit "Stop Recording."
Do note that personal information may be contained in the log.
If you want, you can PM me the log (so it's not public), I'll see what might be happening. I can't guarantee anything. If you don't feel comfortable sharing the log, that's okay, but I've run out of ideas. I am really sorry.
If anybody else has any ideas, hopefully they will chime in.
I experience the same on my Galaxy S2 too... I tried the procedures above to no avail. I mean, not the CatLog one.
Same problem here. Did anyone solve this?
In case here is a logcat when opera crashing on youtube.

Hello guys, u have a clone phone wich Android version is 4.2.2
When I'm tryinng to access some websites on the phone they just simply show as white page, no content
Example of sites: aweber.com
It also happens on some apps that need internet connection
Example of apps: soundcloud, SoundHound, aptoide, aliexpress doesn't load well images, and some others
I already take a look on host files ,but its clear and I also tried to delete the files but the problems stills.
