I wanted to look into how the update system works? If anyone can point me in right direction. Where the source code is? I don't know what its called or what mechanisms it uses? Any info would help?

AOKP has no OTA system. Just download the build and flash it.

That has the link to the zips that install ext4 4 all; I need the one that reverts the Dalvik cache. Also, flashing the normal over another one will NOT revert the Dalvik move.

It's fine if you like Gingerbread. The only thing they have done is added TLS handshaking with B&N servers.

Not released on the B&N website so the only way now is OTA. They have released the update for the Simple Touch e-reader, so maybe it will happen. I would not hold my breath.
