I have heard rumours of the kindle fire having braille/tactile buttons. Is this a US only thing or is it available in the UK.
Looking to buy my mum one as she has very low vision and would love for her to have an easier way of transporting her music, audio books and photographs.
If the Kindle fire is no good, could anyone recomend an alternative tablet that would be suitable?

I am planning to buy a 7" sub $150 tablet for my kid. Primary usage will be playing games & educational use.
I would like to know which of the Chinese Apad tablet manufacturers, provide medium to long term android support or third party ROMs are available. It looks like Ainol novo fire & Pipo U2 have good reviews. Any recommendations on which one to go for? Also do you know if either of these tablets give good android upgrade support or have decent 3rd party ROM availability?
Thanks,
Ravi
My mother has a Kindle Fire HD (3rd Generation) 7inch I believe? Running Fire OS 4.5.5.
I was wondering if Android can be put on this type of Kindle because the Fire OS is so bland and boring with nothing more really than the amazon and kindle store.
If it is possible I would need something that is the most stable. It doesn't have to be the most updated version of Lolipop with all the frills. Just basic or flashy enough that it runs smoothly with the least amount of problems.

And then use the search.

Hi,
I got a couple of fire tablets and rooted them all in order to install playstore Apps for testing purposes.
However, all graphics look kind of "irregular" - a circle is noncircular and this is the case for all apps, also amazon native ones.
Anybody having the same problems with super-tool-ed fire devices?
The Kindle Fire has a rather shabby resolution - so its looks very fuzzy. I wonder whether this is only the case on rooted devices or also with stock amazon Bellini without root.
Thanks!
i received my dads old kindle fire, am i right in thinking i can turn it to android? would be alot better
