If you have calender sync problems (like i had on every aosp rom i flashed) get an app called CaLDav on playstore (it´s not free) install and choose too add a google account, login to google accept and voila your entire calender for years even, shows up again like magic
never worked on aosp even with aosp calender sync zip flashed but this one does the trick

1. What I want, is an offline calendar app. So tried Jorte but I cannot sync with it. First of all, I am not using any apps for which I need a google acc. So the standard installed calendar app is not configured atm. When using Jorte I can add events and so on but I cannot use the option select calendars. It's simply gray.
My sync tool (MyPhoneExplorer) seems to somehow sync all thunderbird events to the standard calendar database (true? at least they show up nowhere)
Ok so here's question: How do I sync my events with Jorte?
2. Or do you have any suggestion for a different offline calendar application?

I am getting frustrarted with SPlanner unable to synchronize properly with Google Calendar. Task don't get synchronized, events and birthdays are also not synchronized properly. Maybe I am doing it wrongly somehow.
Anyway this is my problem. I add a birthday to a contact list and Google Calendar shows the updated birthday on my Google "Contacts Birthday's and Events" Calendar. However, for some weird reason, my SPlanner doesn't shows the updated event. So when I sync SPlanner, the Google "Contacts Birthday's and Events" will get deleted also. I think when I sync SPlanner, there aren't anything there so the Google Calendar gets deleted.
And talking about Task, it just doesn't sync at all. Task created on Gmail will not sync with SPlanner and vice versa.
Is this a bug with the Jelly Bean ROM or its just poor Samsung integration with Google?. Do I need to use the the original AOSP Calendar or must I also use the AOSP Contact.apk to make it all work properly? I want to keep this phone as original as possible so I hope no third party software other than Google or Samsung.

Hello
I have xperia mini pro with cyanogenmod 9 installed and idont have installed gapps.
I got problem with syncing calendar and contacs with my google or Microsoft accounts
I have syncronised gmail and school email to phone but i cant get the calender or contact to work.
When i try to add google calender account to phone i get "Couldn't open connection to server" message. In server field i have tried google.com and accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin in address field but i still get the same error. Is it possible to get the google callender or contacs to work on cyanogen?
My friend sayed to me that it is impossible to but google calender working on cyanogenmod phone without gapps so i think i have to install the gapps to my phone. I dont really like the gapps package because it slowdown my phone.
I have almost finished my transition away from GApps.
I have installed LineageOS without GApps.
I have configured DavDroid to sync the contacts with GMail (yes, I know!)
I have configured K9-Mail to read emails from GMail.
I have not been able to get the calendar app synchronized with Google calendars.
Is there anyone that has an idea on how to do that?
I do fully understand that any method could stop working without any notice.
Did you look here: https://www.davdroid.com/tested-with/google/ ?
I'm running custom rom with nano gapps and are having some trouble using calendars. I've tried multiple calender apps but none of them work, they keep saying I have to supply a calendar account. The problem is that I don't want sync my calendar with google, and even if I did want that, I can't seem to add a calendar account. When I select to add a new account, it tells me to login into my google account. I enter my email and it says I can't use that as I'm already logged in...
Is there really no true offline calendar app?
