[Q] How to force keep an app in memory? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

greetings everyone
is there any app or script to force keep an app in memory to not to be killed
I want to keep Micro CPU Monitor in memory always, but it gets killed all the time, having plenty of free RAM
I have tried App Settings (Xposed module) and init script but all in vain
my device is HTC One (4.42)

Try v6 supercharger

Freeing up memory

Should I be using task killers to kill unwanted apps from time to time? I read somewhere that it really doesn't help. I installed wolfbreaks v0008. was really flying to start with but now getting a little laggy.also any apps that could stop apps from loading at startup?

Are you trying to free up RAM or phone memory. Doing both will help.

RAM, didn't know freeing up phone memory would help improve performance, didn't really want to get into the complexity of apps 2sd etc.

Deleting the caches in each app every once in a while helps.
For RAM, I dont use task killers at all. I let the system manage itself. And yes it works for 2.2 and even better for 2.3 but 2.1 I have to force close the big running apps sometimes. But I have noticed better performance and better battery too when not using task killers.

Not standard memory space

So I tried today to install an app from market (kik) and I took a message that a don't have enough free space.
I went to settings->apps and I had 40mb free memory. After 3-4 seconds my free memory went 130mb :-S
My question is: I have 40 or 140 free space and how do I release free space (except from deleting apps)???
For the record I have all the moveable apps to the SD card.

System Optimizers and Free RAM

Since i'm rooted on my HTC One, are applications such as system optimizers, app killers and other apps that automatically free RAM required? Would these programs increase the performance of my HTC One?
There are so many apps like these which is available on the market. It does is what actly thr taskmanager does. But smtym these apps wont. For imprvng your device you must get rid of blotwares and unwanted system apps. That will absltly incrs your system perfmnce.

You honestly shouldn't need to use any of those. You've got 1.5 gigs of ram.

[Q] Is there an app that finds what apps that slows you phone down?

Good morning,
Is there an app that will monitor your Android system that will indicate which app is showing down you system? I am not looking for a task killer or something like that but rather an app that will analysis your phone and find the app that is showing it down so I can Uninstaller it. Thank you.
Du booster and clean master offer analysis and other stuff which may do what you are after

I would suggest Clean Master, it will notify you if an app is using up too much memory.
