please help me, i just got a Motorola xt910 hardlocked, i guess someone before i receive the phone failed to put the unlock code more than 10 times is there any solution to unlock it??? i tried to buy unlock code from online websites but none worked, the phone doesn't ask for the code when i insert the simcard, i have to dial #073887* to ask for the code, once i put the code it says unsuccessful. flashed will retail ROM and nothing, flashed with original carrier ROM and nothing. is there any other trick or solution???

Hi everyone I'm desperately looking for help... I got myself ATT&T Atrix which was claimed to be unlocked from US but unfortunately it's not, and I can't find any way to sim unlock the phone... I have tried everything else like rooting and putting custom Rom like ginger blur or rewriting the existing sbf file etc. and it still hangs on the start up with the message SIM NETWORK PIN etc.. what can I do since the actual phone is from the US and I'm in Australia... I tried calling att and they were unwilling to provide me an unlock pin
are there any sim unlock pin generators available ?
is there any app or script which blocks sim pin message ?

only way to do it right now is to buy the code off ebay...about $17 and its working. rooting or flashing will not unlock your atrix

Thing is that i tried every single secret code found with no success also. Is there someone who have been thru the same situation? If so, What to do then? It's from Claro PR by the way. From the bml5 inside the phone. Does it makes a difference? Because the thing is that the phone won't ask for a code when i insert a foreign sim, and if i try the secret codes it won't aloud me either
Unlock codes are unique to each phone, generated from the IMEI. Therefore none other than your unique code will work. Unless it is really important I don't suggest unlocking. If you really need to, then contact the provider or get one from ebay.
Putting in a foreign SIM and restarting the phone should bring up the window you are looking for.

Already tried that, and the phone still won't ask for it. Even with the secret codes the phone won't aloud me. On the other hand, yes it is important because i want the phone to work with Tmo and not ClaroPR. Like i said, i have the code, what i do need is someone who knows about this. In fact, i know that if i flash a non official stock rom i will be able to introduce a code. But im not sure if the phone will accept it. Anyways thanks m8!
If your phone is rooted go to system/ and copy the build.prop file and save it somewhere on your sdcard (in case something goes wrong)
Go back to system/ and edit the build.prop file. In the file change the value of " keyguard.no_require_sim=true" to "keyguard.no_require_sim=false"
I am not really sure if this will help. Its just a wild guess, but you can still try it
Thanks for your help m8, i did solve the problem but i did it just flashing a non carrier froyo on that phone. At least i was able to unlock it . Anyways that solution of yours makes me curious. Nice to know that might be the solution for that. I have tried what i did before with no luck but i think the mistake was that when i failed to unlock with that other phone i updated it from froyo to gingerbread. And if i am not mistaken i took the bml5 code from the gingerbread not the original froyo that came with the phone. Anyways hopefully if someone finds himself with that situation this will help...

My phone was blocked with Orange France. Newly I got my unlock code from Orange by email. I tried it, but I always get "network unlock code unsuccessful" message. Before trying the original unlock code, I had tried 2-3 times another codes. As I understood from some blogs my phone is frozen even it does not show like this:
NOTE: if you get "network lock unsuccessful" it means that the i9100 is actually Phone Frozen (even though it doesnt display it, as i9100 dont display Phone Freeze like other samsung phones do)

I formatted phone, but it did not work still. I searched website of Orange but there is nothing related to this problem. Also they do not supply this kind of codes, instead of this they asked me to go to customer service, but here does not exist Orange service. When I check with *#7465625#
1. Network lock [ON]
2. Subset lock [OFF]
3. SP lock [OFF]
4. CP lock [OFF]
I requested 3 times unlock code from Orange by thinking that is it really wrong code. But no. Every time I got same unlock code from Orange. And here I can not find any shop for this problems, also after this problem I am not sure to make payment online on some websites which are working only for these issues. When I try this solution:
1. Turn off the Wi-Fi on your phone and then turn device ON without SIM card.
Once it's on go to phone dial screen and DIAL: *7465625*638*# it will bring you to the NETWORK LOCK screen.
- in MCC/MNC field enter code for the service provider your phone is originally from (eg 31026 for T-Mobile USA)
- in CONTROL KEY field enter the UNLOCK code
- hit OK
- you should get a message: LOCK SUCCESSFUL
Power phone down, insert SIM card you want your phone to work with and power on.

Yes, I get same message as LOCK SUCCESSFUL, so my unlock code is correct. But still I get "unlock code request unsuccessful". I think I need unfreeze code.
I rooted my phone and downloaded [root] Galaxy S2 SIM Unlock apk. But it could not find also UNFREEZE CODE. I rebooted and tried so many times, it still can not find it.
IS THERE ANOTHER WAY TO FIND UNFREEZE CODE ?
If you help me at this issue, I will be pleased.Thank you in advance!

You could easily bork your EFS/IMEI doing so. If it were me, I'd sort it out with Orange because they have no problem with your phone being unlocked. I wouldn't risk borking my phone for the sake of making a few more phone calls/waiting for my carrier to provide a code that does. Not worth it.

You are totally right, however I am not in France anymore and here in Italy Orange does not exist. And they do not supply help on phone for this issue. They asked me to go to customer service but...

Hi all,
I have a strange problem with my phone. Hope someone will be able to help me.
I was not sure if my phone is unlocked when I came on holiday. Bought and put a different provider sim card and there was no signal. Also showed nothing to type unlocking code, so I thought that maybe something with a new sim card is wrong.
I bought a second card from another provider to be sure. On the screen appeared: enter sim network unlock code or something like that. ok so I have to unlock.
Now the strangest thing. when I put back my old sim card (o2), on the screen appeared again: enter sim network unlock code!
Since then I can not use the phone because it still asks for the unlock code.
I tried to change the soft but still do not have signal and no longer asks for the unlock code. anyone know how to force a window to enter the code?
I tried unlocking code from a cellunlocker but not working and and when i switched on my mobile is showing invalid SIM card.
someone has any ideas of what i can do with it?

Could use some help unlocking my Galaxy Ace S5830.
I was following instructions from this thread.
It's locked to Virgin Media, I don't have my original SIM but I have my mothers which was a Virgin SIM and I put that in and was able to get mobile data and make calls.
The two codes I could find in bml5.img were:
15362914
80460902
Not knowing which was correct, I tried both multiple times.
It says something like "USSD Code running" but then says "Connection problem or invalid MMI code”
I get the same “Connection problem or invalid MMI code” even when I dial *#7465625# to check if the phone is network locked.

So I was trying these, I read that adding , at the end can help, it didn't.
Tried restarting the phone a few times, checking service providers and it shows a list of about 4 but all but the one the SIM is for say (restricted), so it didn't work.
Tried a new SIM in it, still asking for unlock code when phone starts up.
Any ideas?
I went and paid for an 'unlocker app', and all the app did was read the .img file and give me the two damn codes I already found myself and told me to put them in the unlock screen when I turn the phone on, but having already tried that multiple times it didn't work.
Is there any other way I can unlock it now that I have the codes?
