Hi, I'm on SlimKat stable 3.0 (KitKat 4.4.2), I've tried to run "integrate updates updates of system apps into ROM" in Titanium Backup and it failed for "Google Play services" (aka "gms", the one with the jigsaw icon), Google Play services is now missing.
Google Play (market) and other Google stuff doesn't work without it.
Any idea how to get it back, preferably without wiping the phone?
I've tried flashing gapps (minimal, some incarnation of gms seems to be inside the zip), wiped dalvik/ cache, but this did not help.
What do I do next?
Does installing google play services apk manually work? You can search for it on google.

I have an iDeaUSA YG A777 Android Tablet that is rooted. The version of Android it is running is 4.0.3.
My problem:
I updated the YouTube app from Google Play Store a few days ago. After it was updated, I tried to open it, but a message popped up saying that I needed to install Google Play Services and linked me to the app's Play Store page. Google Play Services downloads fine, but during the installation process, an error message pops up, saying:
"Incompatible with other applications(s) using the same shared user ID."
I don't have a custom ROM or a custom kernel; they're both stock.

- Try reboot?
- If nothing's working maybe have to try factory reset and sign-in again to your Google account.

Yep, I tried that. I did a factory reset and tried installing Google Play Services before any other apps, but no luck.

I tried wiping both the cache partition and the dalvik partition, but it didn't work.
The only two versions of Google Play Store that I've had on my tablet is the one that came with my stock ROM (I don't remember which version that was) and now the most current version of Play Store (3.10.10). Back when I had the stock version, I tried installing Google Play Services, but no luck. Obviously, I'm still having the same problem with the current version.
You could try mine play store/vendin.apk from here: http://www.androidworld.nl/forum/to...ent-7-rootedstock-rom-updated-17-11-12-a.html
Unpack *V2 rooted stock rom.

From what I can tell through Google translator (I don't speak Dutch), this is a page to download and install a custom ROM. I'm more looking for a way to fix my problem without having to get rid of my current stock ROM.
Thank you anyway, [email protected].

Then, if I'm not mistaken, it is a stock ROM for Tom-Tec tablets. In other words, it probably won't work, at least not properly, on my iDeaUSA YG A777 tablet. I would need a ROM, stock or custom, designed for my tablet if I'm to be able to replace my current stock ROM.
Regardless, like I said previously, I'd like to fix this problem without getting rid of my current stock ROM.

No luck. Using Titanium Backup, I tried wiping the data of every Google app, but it didn't work. I then tried a mass data wipe of ALL system and user apps. However, I ended up with the same result.
Hi. Noob on Forum.
I decided to Install CyanogenMod on my Xoom MZ601 model.
Bootloader unlocked, cwm installed, Cyanogenmod also installed without problem.
I use the last NIGHTLY-BUILD ---> cm-10.1-20130410-NIGHTLY-everest.
Now the problem. I tried to install gapps.
I downloaded the latest gapps for jelly bean 4.2.2 ----> gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip from goo.im/gapps/ (cannot write the complete url on the first post)
Install zip from sdcard etc using cwm. And everything seems to be perfect.
Except one. None google app is not installed. Or at least not shown nowhere on my apps.
Any idea what's wrong? How to fix that? I like jelly bean but I need gtalk, youtube, play store, google maps etc.
First u need add your Google account in phone setting> account.
Then just install YouTube, Gmail, maps etc. Those Google apps that can be downloaded from market aren't included in gapps flashable package.
I add my gmail account and I made again the gapp proccess. Still the same result. I have no problem to download all the apps from market. But I have not play store on my apps.

You have to flash the gapps at the same time as the rom as the gapps package has more then just app apks in it and it needs to be able to write to the proper areas.
How to do that? The first thing after installing ROM was to install gapps. I think that we are on a good way to find the solution :good:

When you flash the rom dont reboot, flash the gapps right after and then reboot. You will have to reflash the rom with a full wipe.
I made a wipe of disk and cache. I install rom and gapp. After, I rebooted, I add gmail account, I rebooted again and now I have News and Weather app on my apps but not play store.

I mean post the link you used to get the gapps zip file. if the browser FC then the zip maybe corrupted due to it being updated with the new play store
Try installing the new playstore yourself.

Wait you are flashing the gapps package first before this zip right. I already have the new play store running
And after looking at those link those are install able files not flash files.
Thanks a lot! With the apk problem solved
There is an option in Titanium Backup to integrate updates of System Apps into ROM.
My play store as well as Google Services framework were updated, so I used the option in Titanium for Google Servives Framework.
Now my Play Store doesn't work and Google framework services also crash.
I have tried:
- Flashing PA Gapps again (I am on a PA ROM, I9500)
- Installing Play store and GFS separately by disabling the older ones
- Installing above on top of existing as an update, where the installations of both were successfull
However still nothing is fixed. GFS might be working as I don't get errors by apps using GFS. But I don't get push notifications.
But play store app is broken. It always shows "No internet. Retry now"
Have tried removing data, clearing cache, of the play store app.
But it just shows retry now and an option in the left to switch account.
How do I fix this.
I need completely fresh Play Store and GFS, w/o factory wipe or loosing data.
Help appreciated. thanks
Hey, guys.
I hope that the experts here can save my ass. =(
My data
Device: GT-I9100
CyanogenMod-Version: 11-20141115-SNAPSHOT-M12-i9100
Android-Version: 4.4.4
Baseband-Version: I9100XXMS4

My problem
Lately I tried to limit the services of the Google Play services. For that I have used the app DisableService. After a while, it worked quite well, because I have limited the services here on the basis of a list in this forum. This morning then the shock: During use of WhatsApp the contact names changed into numbers. My Google account was gone. In the days before I changed nothing that could be the problem. The last change in this context happened three days before. I had configured the services in a way that creating a new Google Account is still working, so I was surprised because this wasn't the case anymore.
At first i got the choice for Google or WhatsApp (other accounts aren't possible, 'cause i don't use them). If i decided Google, it doesn't work and the error said: Google Play services were terminated. The same after i've allowed all services. But now it's not even possible to get the choice for a new Google account. The only thing possible is WhatsApp.
My attempts
- Deleted all Google Play services and Play Store data
- Reinstalled Google Play services and Play Store via Gapps.zip in Recovery
- Reinstalled Google Play services and Play Store via APK
- Deleted the updates for Google Play services and Play Store
What the attempts caused
Nothing. =( It's still impossible, to create or login a new Google account. Before it crashed, now it depends the step before crashing.
My guess
It seems to me as a file or files are missing. Or they are wrong. In addition, I noticed that now a few services will be blocked by itself. This was previously not the case. "SystemUpdateService" is one of them. Also the "CheckinService" in the framework of Google Play services.
For me, this is a disaster. This weekend I need my contacts urgently. I hope you can help me. And thank you for your attention.

Have you tried uninstalling the disable services app? Also I would try going into recovery and wiping cache and dalvik cache and rebooting. If this doesn't work, you could try going back to recovery and just reinstalling the cm11 .zip and gapps .zip then wiping both caches again and rebooting(you wont lose any data doing this)

What about reinstall the rom? Format /data, /cache and /system to ensure there's no corruption during the process. Flash gapps again too. You'll lose your data, but it should fix these kind of errors for sure.

Hi,
I recently bought a tablet from china but i wasn't told that the google play store wasn't install. I tried to download them from their apps as well through some site but none of them works. The google play store just crash. So i've decided to root it but i couldn't find any roms/firmware which i can use to root the tablet. The tablet current version is 7.
Do i really need to root my tablet or there is a way i can get my google play store running?
I notice that there is some thread for tb-7304i or something, will i be able to use them? If not, where can i get details to root tb-7304n?
can anyone help me with this?

An Android device must NOT be rooted to install Google Play Store on it. Use Google Installer v3 to install Google Play Store. The Google Installer v3 comes as an APK which you can directly download and install on your device. Fortunately, this app doesn’t void warranty as it isn’t performing root or modifying the system files. Once the Google apps have been installed, you can uninstall this app.

So when the Google Services Framework keeps stopping then you know there is something wrong with one of the Google Apps you have installed on your phone. Either Google Services Framework, Google Play Services or Google PlayStore. Picking out the particular app responsible might be tasking so it might be best to just clear the data and cache of ALL three apps and also remove or log out of your Google Account and log back in and finally re-boot device.
